This sword, is made of tentacles. These tentacles can break apart and act as a whip of sorts.
The tentacles, like most Yuuzhan Vong weapons, secrete a deadly poison

Ferocious appetite
Saber resistant
Can withstand hard hits from sharp weapons
Weaknesses:
Ferocious appetite - if sword does not feed it is liable to turn on it’s wielder
Not very sharp - This blade relies on it’s literal bite to tear through enemy flesh and thus can’t cut other metals very well
Heavy - it's a little unwieldy at almost twice the weight of the average sword.
Will die without food
DESCRIPTION
Crafted and forged by an ancient Vong shaper this blade has been handed down Scourge’s familial line since the time of the first Yuuzhan Vong invasion. It relies on microscopic, but very sharp teeth to rend and tear at the flesh of its enemies. While it is good against unarmored opponents the lack of an edge makes it's actual cutting power very small. It must eat like any other living creature and without food it is liable to turn on it's master or even die. It is capable of breaking apart into several snake like tentacles that can act as a whip of sorts. Each tentacle secretes a deadly poison that can cause lethargy or even paralysis. When scourge was deemed unfit for biot implants, he was made a Shamed one, and the sword was nearly taken away from him. But, Scourge escaped away from his domain of Yuuzhan Vong with Glutton and joined the Mandalorians after proving himself, thus he was able to keep the sword.
