- CryoBan Cartridges
Each CryoBan cartridge goes off one at a time, starting with the first and then starting with the second after the first one is emptied after five minutes and so on and so forth. Between each cartridge being utilized by the Glacial, a five-second interval must take place for the electronic and mechanical mechanisms built into the gun to clinch the cartridge in place and connect the cartridge up to the barrel, then it will fire. - Once all five mechanisms have been fired, they can be replaced one at a time. To replace a cartridge, the user must first press a button on the side of the CryoBan gun, which will disable and release all CryoBan cartridges from their locking mechanisms. From there, the cartridges can be replaced, though they do not need to be replaced all at the same time, only one needs to be active and locked into the gun's firing mechanism to operate fully. To replace a CryoBan cartridge, it can take ten seconds for someone who is familiar with the gun and up to thirty-eight seconds for someone who isn't familiar with the gun and reloading its CryoBan cartridges.

- Back-carrier CryoBan
The CryoBan fuel-tank backpack, or the 'CryoBan Back-carrier,' carries somewhere between one to four CryoBan chemical agent 'fuel-tanks.' The number of CryoBan canisters depends on exclusively situational scenarios, whether it be on a large battlefield, or in a small corridor on a Star Destroyer. - All four fuel-tanks are stapped to one another through the use of four durasteel clamps, one at the top, one at the bottom, and two in the middle. These fuel tanks are then propped up against a platform where the magnetic durasteel clamps connect to. The durasteel platform which these canisters lay on is then strapped to a soldier's back through the use of flexsteel bands and a central durasteel quad-connecter to keep the fuel tanks on the user's back. From there, the fuel tanks are connected to a bottom nozzle-like platform, which then directly connects to the stock of the Glacial Heavy-gun. From there, Cryoban chemical fluid is pumped into the frame and barrel of the gun, being ready to be fired at a moment's notice.
- The fuel tanks will typically be emptied from the ones farthest from the user's body to the ones closest to the user's body. This allows the most exterior and far away fuel tanks to be dropped away from the user's body through the combined use of an electrical and mechanical retracting durasteel system, allowing empty durasteel containers to fall away from the user after being scanned to determine if they are full or empty.
- Once a fuel-tank runs out, there is a long delay of fifty seconds to sixty seconds before the next canister is ready to be used by the gun.
