The Gjallarhorn-class Battlecruiser was a warship conceived for planetary defense, planetary assault, troop transport, and ship-to-ship combat. It was designed by Iron Wrath Industries, and produced by the Iron Empire. It saw use as part of the Iron Imperial Navy, serving as its Flagship. At five-thousand metres in length, the Gjallarhorn was the largest warship in the Iron Imperial fleet.

Designed for space supremacy, the Gjallarhorn-class Battlecruiser was outfitted with a array of offensive weaponry, including: sixty-six Heavy Long Range Turbolaser Batteries, sixty-six Long Range Turbolaser Batteries, eighty-four Heavy Turbolaser Batteries, sixty Turbolaser Batteries, fifty Long Range Ion Batteries, sixty-six Heavy Ion Batteries, eighty-four Ion Batteries, one-hundred Mass Driver Batteries, twenty Hyper Velocity Guns, four Orbital Auto Cannons, and one-hundred and forty two General Purpose Warhead Tubes. This allowed the Battlecruiser to engage enemy ships at any range. However, it was at its most destructive in close-to-mid range combat.

To protect the mammoth flagship, the Gjallarhorn was equipped with multiple redundant deflector shields, and a reinforced hull. In contrast to other Iron Imperial Vessels, the deflector shield generators were not exposed atop its bridge. Rather, all were safety housed within the Ghallarhorn itself.

This combination of extreme offensive weaponry, and supreme defensive equipment, left the Gjallarhorn bloated and sluggish. So as to not be easy prey for nimble enemy starfighters, the vessel was outfitted with numerous anti-starfighter weapons, including: one-hundred Point Defense Cannons, one-hundred Anti-missile Octets, one-hundred Flak Cannons, and one-hundred Quad Laser Cannons
