Give me freedom or give me death...

Sha'so

Looking for freedom...
Ossus? Academy? For all her dreaming and wishing to be free, Sha'do had never given any thought to what she would do afterwards. Jedi Academy... She supposed there were worse things that could happen.

Sha'do looked at each officer curiously before letting her gaze settle on the one that had been identified as Watson. She was feeling really guilty about throwing him, and judging by the way he was holding his arm he was hurt bad. She slowly, carefully scooted across the deck plating, away from Valkren and closer to Watson. She reached out hesitantly and placed a hand on his arm. It was broken, badly! She couldn't help him, not without splinting the arm first. But maybe she could help with the pain... Her other hand moved to his head. Yes, a concussion she could fix! She closed her eyes and a warm glow emanated from her hands. It was tiring work to heal and dull the nerves, and since the rush from earlier was gone she was using her own strength to offer this small apology to the man she had hurt. Really, they were all hurt because of her, and if she weren't so dead tired she would try to heal them all, but this one was all she could manage.

Watson was hesitant to let her even touch him, considering the agony in he was at the moment was caused by her. He'd push himself further against the seat, trying to get as far away from the Cathar as possible. Eventually, he was calmed as she placed a hand onto his helmeted head. That was one pain gone, but he'd still have to go through rehab for weeks maybe..The amount of bacta treatment he'd have to go through for his arm would be rough..But it was the soldiers' life, he was lucky it was just a broken arm. Valkren and O'Connor were both shot, and they'd have to retrieve treatment soon aswell.

Valkren leaned over, staring out the open door for a glimpse of the compound as it shrunk away into the darkness of the city.

Hopefully the information he had in the device on his belt would take his team to Doctor Shaw, and hopefully to his own father and brother in the end.

For now, it was on to Ossus and the Jedi Academy to speak to his old friend..

Sha'do wished so desperately that she could tell Watson how sorry she was for hurting him, for letting all of them get hurt, but it simply wasn't possible. She just hoped her eyes conveyed the level of her sorrow as she finally pulled away from Watson. She moved closer to Valkren since he didn't seem to be afraid of her. She wanted to ask him about Ossus and the Academy, ask him a lot of things actually, but none of that was any more possible than her desire to voice how sorry she was. For now, all she could do was sag wearily against the ship hull and wait until they arrived at their destination...

Valkren slid his rifle inbetween the Cathar and himself, sliding it into a locking mechanism beside the seat. He'd slowly lift his gloved hands up and slide his fingers underneath the edges of his helmet, disengaging the locks that connected his helmet to the neck-piece. The Sergeant would lift the helmet from his head, leaning down and dropping it inbetween the two of them, infront of his rifle. It was obvious that he was young, it looked to be that he was somewhere in his late twenties. He'd shift his icy blue hues over to look at their new companion.

"Don't worry, you'll be reporting to a new master from now on..A better one." He said, a smile tugging at his lips, this being the first time she actually saw any of their faces. It was now when he really connected the dots, she couldn't speak. Not even her own language? The Jedi would have their hands full.. Hopefully they could do something for her, she seemed like a worthy ally.

And Valkren needed allies.

Sha'do frowned slightly. She didn't like the idea of having another master. She had just tasted freedom, hadn't even had a chance to enjoy it, and now she was to answer to another master? It... didn't seem fair... But sensing the fear and apprehension in the officers, she supposed she could understand the need for keeping her contained. She had hurt people, killed people, all with power she couldn't understand or control. She just hoped that her new master was kind and did not insist on another collar. She would behave, she just never wanted to wear another collar!

Sha'do looked at Valkren and nodded slightly in acceptance of his words. A small smile formed as she took in the details of Valkren's face. He was handsome, there was no doubt, but it was his eyes that made her smile. She had never seen eyes like his before...
