[*]Culture: Convoluted, complex, and often seen as counter productive, the culture of Mandalore is one that revolves mostly around combat, family, and tradition. Which traditions though was often a topic of hot debate which resulted in brawls, arguments, and several civil wars throughout the history of the Mandalorian people. To the South, where many of the White Sand deserts of Mandalore were, the rise and fall of the Empire of ancient days saw the Mandalorians cast away the pacifism of the "New Mandalorians" however many of their other ideals have stayed, including their way of life. Content to mimic cities of the Galactic Core the Mandalorians within the domed cities typically didn't wear their armor unless ready for combat. It was a place of wealth, education, industry, and art. Still competent warriors in their own right, many of these Mandalorians typically lead lives in industries outside of mercenary work and the criminal underworld.
To the North, the Mandalorians lead very different lives. Free to live without the oppressive heat of the White Sand deserts for the most part, these Mandalorians lead rougher lives. With small settlements, towns, and villages carved out of the veshok tree forests and ice covered plains, many of the Mandalorians here worked as farmers, miners, mercenaries and smiths as well as other jobs that required hard labor. Mighty warriors, old story tellers, and ancient traditions took root in these places.

Despite these differences however, most if not all Mandalorians followed the Resol'nare. While how they interpreted it varied from province to province and even within the same cities or towns, most Mandalorians saw each other as family.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Decentralized Clans under the authority of the Mand'alor (Sole Ruler)
  • Affiliation: Mandalorian Empire and future Mandalorian Major Factions
  • Wealth: Medium-High
While outside of the domed cities such as Sundari and Padelfia life may have seemed primitive and harsh with their wooden homes, fire warmed hearths, and their old tech, Mandalorians themselves were surprisingly frugal and thus large amounts of wealth was common within individual Mandalorian families due to the extremely lucrative business that many took part in such as beskar mining, high-end mercenary work, financial speculation, and shipbuilding. While not everyone was "rich" there was very little true unemployment outside of the domed cities.

[*]Stability: High
  • Coming out of a massive civil war and a terrible ecological disaster many of the clans alongside the new Mand'alor took steps to increase security in the system and rebuild assets lost in the war and disaster. Inspiring fierce loyalty across Mandalore, the Mand'alor has brought stability in the system not seen for at least a decade.

[*]Freedom & Oppression: Technically a dictator, the Mand'alor often has little say what does or doesn't happen within the various familial units and clans of Mandalore. Most companies were not nationalized outside of times of war and the oppressive TSAC buildings were largely shut down. While Death Watch still lurks in the shadow of the Mandalorian Empire, the Mandalorian Protectors patrol and act as a system-wide police force.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: After the ecological disaster that would see most of Mandalore shifted and broken and the Civil War that saw the rise of the Mandalorian Empire, Mandalore underwent a massive increase in their projected military power. A draft coupled with a short stint of MandalMotors being nationalized under Ra Viszla saw a Mandalorian armada rise that surpassed the military might of the Mandalorians during their war with the Sith Empire a decade before the civil war. Even after that the naval strength of Mandalore rose after the Mandalorian Empire constructed the solar shipyard and secured their system with several space stations and strategically placed space mines.
  • Technology: The planet itself could probably be considered galactic standard, but many of the smaller towns and cities of Mandalore utilized older tech. For example, the people of Kyrimorut often used tech from as far back as the Clone Wars.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Be sure to cover the following information in at least three paragraphs:

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a location on the outskirts of the Mandalore System
  • Image Credit: How to properly source your images
  • Canon: No
  • Links: [Provide links to any relevant threads, characters, companies, locations, equipment, etc here.]
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Military Base Name: Nuhoy Station
  • Classification: Listening Post and Strategic Military Bastion
  • Location: Werda
  • Affiliation: Mandalorians, Mandalorian Empire (And future Mandalorian Major Factions)
  • Population: Mandalorian Protectors
  • Accessibility: While not entirely a secret base, the station had only seen sparatic use over the last several decades and as such was often forgotten in most military mock ups of Mandalorian military strength. It sported a modest hangar as it was designed as a launch pad for suprise attacks of invaders. The hangar was only accessible with the correct military codes and was technically accessible by any Mandalorian Military personnel.
  • Description: Nuhoyir Station was a Mandalorian listening post and auxiliary military hangar base constructed into the side of a mountain on the planet Werda. Remote on the ice covered planet at the edge of the Mandalore System it was made to aid Mandalore in the event that the system was invaded. It was one of several military stations that doubled as a bastion for the Mandalorian people should they fall in war. The military base was, as far as Mandalorian bases went, standard. It boasted an extensive hangar system built into the mountain that could accommodate large transports and medium sized corvettes. It was also built to hold a significant number Mandalorian non-combatants (if there ever was such a thing) and had a modest greenhouse, medium-sized stables for farm animals, and hundreds of apartments that were built into the man-made caverns of the mountain.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Sleeping City: Built deeper into Nuhoyir Station, The Sleeping City was a complex of apartments built into the mountain and connected to he military base by tram. While there were only a few hundred, the size of each apartment was large enough to accommodate multiple family units due to the close and familial culture of the Mandalorians.
  • The Farm: While empty normally the area that holds the stables and greenhouse was part of the Sleeping City and was destined to help keep the few surviving Mandalorians alive on the icy world of Werda.

SECURITY: High
Its security under Mand'alor Yasha Mantis was delegated to the Mandalorian Protectors, a group of supercommandos led by Torin Verd.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Constructed at some point prior to the Gulag Plague Nuhoyir Station saw sporadic use by various Mand'alors dependent on the era and needs of the people. Largely left forgotten the base saw renewed use for the first time since the Vong-Mandalorian War where it was reactivated when Vong from the Mandalorian Vong Wastes attacked several Mandalorian settlements. Yasha Mantis re-activated the station after a re-evaluation of Mandalorian assets and delegated its operation to the recently reinstated Mandalorian Protectors. While the Sleeping City remained unused after reactivation, much of the station's sensors, weapons, and various listening systems were updated and the hangars became a battle ready station.

  • Accessibility: [Describe logistical information on how easy it is to find/access this location. Is it hidden? Is it isolated from society or is it in the middle of civilization? Is it guarded? Open to the public or private access only?]
  • Description: A combination of northern Mandalorian and old Atrisian architecture, Tetsuya House was a large, mostly stone and permacrete structure that held a large portion of the Tetsuya clan. Considered by many to be a mansion and overly showy by Mandalorian standards, the structure was a collection of large stone hubs connected by various tunnels both underground and above ground. It was constructed like a Mandalorian vheh'yaim, though was obviously more of a permanent home than a traditional vheh'yaim. Thus it was constructed in such a way that made defending it as easy as possible while making the passageways and outside difficult to assault.
POINTS OF INTEREST

  • Classification: Rural City
  • Location: Mandalore
  • Affiliation: Mandalorians
  • Demographics: Predominantly
  • Wealth: [Low, medium, high? Describe, briefly, why.]
  • Stability: High
  • Description: Located in the north-west of the main continent on Mandalore, Adasas was built in one of the few White Sand deserts in the north. Right on the boarder of the lush veshok tree forests that cover the north west, the domed city served as a trading hub for much of the province. Like many of the other domed cities of Mandalore, it had several outer domes besides the main dome which facilitated transportation from the city's main space port and provided a less expensive place to live. One of the outer domes was also a vorpan'yaim. The interior was built much like the other domed cities with dull colored buildings and brutalist designs. Drab and in their appearance the buildings somehow seemed less pristine than their Sundari counterparts. A man-made river flowed through the center of the city from the connected Vorpan'yaim.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Media Name: Iron Heart: Examining the Life, History, and Culture of Mandalore
  • Format: Holobook and physical Flimsi Book
  • Distribution: Inter-Planetary
  • Length: Long
Description: Iron Heart was a holobook written by an anonymous Mandalorian under the pen name of Reiko just prior to the Seven Day War on Mandalore. Within it, the author described the oral history of Mandalore, essentially filling in the blanks most data records had on the system after the Gulag Plague. The book was a massive collection of primary sources such as holomail between Mandalorians during the Gulag Plague, helmet audio recordings (in the physical edition it was included on a data chit), old Mandalorian star charts, and copies of physical media such as the Supercommando Codex. The book also held first hand accounts of battles, daily life, life advice, and other bits from various Mandalorians across the galaxy. After each piece or section, Reiko gave their thoughts and attempted to analyze and synthesize the material in an ongoing narrative of Mandalorian history from the Sith Imperial Civil War (as even going that far back accounts were shoddy at best), to present day and the destruction of Mandalore. As an added bonus maps of Mandalore, diagrams of old Beskar'gam designs (not the secrets to forging beskar), and other interesting figures were added to the book such as classic war chants like "Vode An". Mandalorian legends such as the story of Tarre Viszla were also present.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Author: A self proclaimed Mandalorian Historian by the pen name of Reiko.
  • Publisher: The University of Coruscant
  • Reception: The book was well received in history circles for its impressive amount of sources and dialogue. As Mando'a was rarely heard outside of Mandalorian Space it was also well received by professors of linguistics for its break down of verb usage and other wordy things. Among younger Mandalorians, many thought that the person who wrote it couldn't be Mandalorian because what they had put in the book was "fake" or that no self-respecting Mandalorian would sell their history for credits. There were Mandalorians that enjoyed the book, the biggest endorser of the book being ex-Mand'alor Gilamar Skirata.
CONTENT INFORMATION
Iron Heart was a holobook written by an anonymous Mandalorian under the pen name of Reiko just prior to the Seven Day War on Mandalore.

Throughout the book they refer to the idea of being a Mandalorian as "The Iron Heart" as both things meant a variety of different things to a variety of different Mandalorians. They mainly attribute the split between Mandalorian ideologies to the lack of a coherent, stable history as even before the Gulag Plague much of Mandalorian history was oral. She uses Mandalore as the easiest example as examining the entire diaspora of Mandalorians, such as those on Echoy'la and those that for generations had never even set foot on Mandalore, would have been too difficult a task for a single book.

While examining the homeland itself, Reiko described the dichotomy between the Mandalorians that lived in "Old Mandalore", which they describe as the non-domed cities, mostly in the Northern hemisphere, and those that lived and grew up in "New Mandalore", those Mandalorians that lived in the domed cities that dot most of Mandalore's Southern White Deserts. Here they take heed to mark the Old Republic for their treatment of Mandalore during the Mandalorian Excision and the drastic effect the event had on the Mandalorian diaspora, but does not condone the actions of their ancestors either. In discussing the differences on the homeworld, Reiko highlights the dress, mannerisms, and even the way of speaking Mando'a (or lack thereof) as potential fault lines in the Mandalorian Culture. It is here they say that it is where the "Iron Heart" keeps Mandalorians together and from warring with each other, but it is also the thing that keeps them apart, similar to the item of the same name that keeps the torso plates on beskar'gam in place, while keeping them just slightly apart.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Iron Heart was published by The University of Coruscant and authored by a Mandalorian historian that went by the pen name of Reiko. While the university often did not publish books that were done under a pen name, the editor, Saren Bith pushed for the work to be released. In the Introduction, Reiko highlights that the reason they wanted to get the book out to everyone in the Galaxy was because for so long the Mandalorians had been depicted in the media as simple minded fools or military geniuses when really they were no different from any other people or culture, even if some proclaimed otherwise. They also wanted something that their people could read and hopefully come to grips with their differences and use it to help rebuild after the destruction of Mandalore where the author said they lost their family and their arm. A physical book was published in limited numbers through a Mandalorian publishing office that was under the MGA, a popular sports and news holo station.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To act as a place of teraforming research and way to feed Mandalorians in the southern hemisphere where white sand deserts were common.

  • Canon: No

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Vorpan'yaim
  • Classification: Environmentally Controlled Farmland
  • Location: Various domed cities throughout Mandalore
  • Affiliation: The Mandalorians
  • Accessibility:
  • Description: Vorpan'yaim [lit: Green Home], were structures constructed after the first Mandalorian Excision near and around the domed cities of the Southern hemisphere. Smaller than the large domes that held entire Mandalorian cities like Sundari and Padelfia, these smaller domes often held village-sized settlements where farmers paid to own plots of land and could farm fresh vegetables. The type of farm varied wildly with some keeping with traditional methods were like little slices of the old days and were more reminiscent of northern towns. Some others fully embraced the advancements in temperature and environmental control and became large, advanced, hydroponics facilities.

They were also used for a time to facilitate terraforming research immediately after the Mandalorian Excision. Those domes were mostly abandoned when it was found there was nothing they could do to fix their home. Often placed far from domed cities, many of these abandoned places became large forests, sporting their own ecosystems of natural Mandalorian plants and animals. Many of these domes that were near cities became tourist attractions as safari zones where others far off from cities became nature preserves. Often times game animals and livestock were brought in to these domes in order to help make both the farmlands and preserves more similar to a pre-Excision state of Mandalorian likeness.

After the Second Mandalorian Excision these domes began seeing widespread use, including the nature preserve domes. Many began supporting small Mandalorian communities.

POINTS OF INTEREST
River Well: Automated stations that pumped, cleaned, and recycled a large reservoir of water. These stations facilitated simulated rain, the hydroponics systems, sewage, and the man-made rivers and lakes that dotted the dome's area. River Wells were connected to large moisture farms on the outside of the domes that provided new water periodically.

Port: A small spaceport that could except medium-sized bulk freighters or smaller ships. They were always located on the outside of the station and were environmentally sealed and controlled. They allowed for people to enter and exit the dome.

Sundari Vorpan'yaim: Unique as the capital's main source of food, the Sundari Vorpan'yaim were the most advanced hydroponics facilities on Mandalore. These Vorpan'yaim provided the bulk of food following the Second Mandalorian Excision. After Yasha Mantis took the mantle of Mand'alor, the Sundari Vorpan'yaim also facilitated the bulk of terraforming research, making it the focal point for Mandalore's survival. These domes held advanced security, higher standards for tenants, and a contingent of Mandalorian Protectors dispatch specifically for the series of Sundari Vorpan'yaim.

SECURITY
Low: Vorpan'yaim were often only protected by the citizens within or small, local militias. The main exception to this were the advanced hydroponics domes of Sundari which were closely guarded by the Mandalorian Protectors due to the amount of food produced there.

High: Sundari Vorpan'yaim

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Designed some time after the first Mandalorian Excision, the Vorpan'yaim were large biodomes or biocubes constructed by the New Mandalorians over a thousand years ago. Designed to provide food for the domed cities of Mandalore's southern hemisphere they held advanced hydroponics facilities and fertile farmland. They were often owned by large Clans, Houses, and government entities who then sold ore rented portions of the dome inside to Mandalorians to use as farmland or hydroponic facilities. Tenant standards were originally strict, with most if not all of them having to swear fealty to the Duchess Satine and her New Mandalorians. Many of these dome farmers were forced to give up family armor and personal weapons outside of certain regulated hunting rifles to stay. These rules only got more strict once the Empire took over the planet.

Some time after the Galactic Civil War however, Jaster's Mandalorians re-took the planet as the ways of the New Mandalorian died along with the Duchess. Many of these domed farms and environments took on a more traditional sense. Where the great industrial cities of the South continued to follow some of the old ways of the New Mandalorians, these domes were like snapshots into the more rural North. Wild animals roamed freely, farmers herded livestock and worked the land with tools. Time seemed to slow down in these country places. Some domes were even dedicated to becoming large nature preserves after terraforming efforts were deemed useless. These places became havens for some of the flora and fauna unique to the Southern hemisphere of Mandalore.

After the Second Mandalorian Excision, these domes saw widespread use by relief effort leaders. They were among the first things that were repaired and brought back online and provided food and shelter during the refugee crisis aftermath. Few of these domes saw skirmishes during the Seven Day War and during Ra Viszla's Force Sensitive round up, however were quickly brought to heel by the new Mandalorian Empire. After Yasha Mantis took the mantle however, they were instrumental in feeding the Mandalorian people and furthering the Mandalorians' terraforming technologies. Now these domes serve the same purpose as they did when first constructed, a way for Mandalorians to be self-sufficient in the face of adversity.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Media Name: Tal'nappa: Blood Riders
  • Format: Holobook
  • Distribution: Inter-Planetary
  • Length: Long
  • Description: Tal'nappa was a non-fiction novel that discussed the significance of bes'uliik riders to the Mandalorian culture. Despite its name, it only references Tal'nappa a handful of times and instead devotes much of its time picking apart a collection of historical works, diagrams, military strategies, and schematics to paint a concise history of the various droid mounts that the Mandalorians have used throughout their history. It also showed a side of Mandalorians not commonly seen in the Galaxy, one of a caring lifetime friend and caretaker.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Author: Reiko
  • Publisher: University of Alderaan
  • Reception: In its initial release Alderaan and the Madnalore sector saw a warm reception however in the core and deep core saw heavy criticism for its apologetic tone towards Mandalorian war crimes, which was the reason they lost their ability to utilize Bes'uliik in the first place. Many argued that they still were committing war crimes simply by using them in the current day and age. Seen as brutal and uncivilized the bes'uliik were greatly feared by supporters of neutering the Mandalorian military. The book was subsequently banned on many of the Core Worlds before a second edition was released where Reiko in their revised introduction made it clear that they did not condone any of the past war crimes the Mandalorians committed, nor did they support claims of war crimes from recent conflicts.
CONTENT INFORMATION
Tal'nappa's chapters were split into three sections. The first section delved into the history of the bes'uliik, the riders, and the legendary Beast Smiths that constructed the largely hand-crafted droids. The fact that these were droids was a part of the main narrative of the first section, which the author suggested was often hard to tell the way the droids and riders interacted. Some technical details were given here, but it was obvious that this was not the point of the first section. The ups and downs of the bes'uliik's history and the several hundred year span of time where the Republic took the beasts away from their riders was well documented through use of ancient documents, barely discernible holorecordings, and holoimages left over from several hundred years ago.

The second section detailed the cultural significance of the bes'uliik, the riders, and the Beast Smiths whom made them. The craft, style, and influence of several renowned Beast Smiths was recorded here as well as historically significant Riders, clans, and individual machines. The section spent several chapters praising Mandalorian Beast Smiths for their clever use of native and exotic fauna in their design language. It also went into curiously deep detail on the phenomenon on Tal'nappa, the book's namesake. Reiko noted how the title only shows up a few times throughout hundreds of years worth of documents however recalls the name from their childhood on Concord Dawn from stories. Audio logs only confirmed their anecdotal stories as the word came up in conversations regarding particular precursor clan members of famous riding clans in today's galaxy such as Clan Sarad and Clan Namadi.

The third and final section of the book is dedicated almost entirely to military strategy and tech jargon. It is rumored that the final section was partially written by Gilamar Skirata, who was one of Mandalore's top authorities on the craft of Bes'uliik riding and creation. The first and middle chapters were incredibly technical and included various classes and sub-types of bes'ulik in an attempt to dismantle the stereotype that there was only one kind of Mandalorian War Droid, which many readers reported to find unsettling. Weapons were also discussed, especially the importance of the shockwave generator rods, the defacto main weapon on any self respecting bes'uliik war droid. The final chapter again attempted to drive home the importance in Mandalorian society placed on a rider and their bond to their bes'uliik. It was stated in the final pages that the bond was unlike anything in the galaxy and closed on a story of one loyal bes'uliik whom was put to rest with their rider in a traditional Mandalorian burial for great warriors and cast into the sun of Manda'yaim.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Tal'Nappa was the first book penned by self-proclaimed and anonymous Mandalorian historian Reiko. Published by the University of Alderaan, the book was largely a part of Reiko's thesis for their degree in Mandalorian History which earned Reiko the title of Doctor. The thesis was cleaned up and further edited by fellow Mandalorian Gilamar Skirata, and published under the university's publishing company. The book saw limited success in the Alderaan system but saw an incredible amount of sales in the Mandalore Sector as the book held technical information about bes'uliik that many aspiring Beast Smiths said in reviews that they found helpful.

Outside of those two locales however, the book saw harsh criticism for Reiko's tolerance of past Mandalorian war crimes. It was subsequently banned in several Core systems before a second edition was published where in the introduction Reiko attempted to ease the tension within the Galactic history community. The event pushed Reiko into fame however and many supporters of their work touted them as a leader in Mandalorian history.

    35% Non-Mandalorian of Various Species
  • 10% Ugnaught
  • 55% Mandalorian of Various Species

[*]Wealth: High
  • As the largest Tibanna gas mining colony in the system, the city of Ayrie contains a massive amount of wealth. Mostly in the pockets of foreign companies and racers, the wealth distribution and taxes imposed by the Mandalorian Clans has managed to keep most of the citizens that live in the Edee afloat, but massive wealth inequality also exists within the city.

[*]Stability: Medium
  • Tensions were high with the vast majority of wealth on Ayrie accumulated in foreign pockets. There was always a lingering fear in the foreign companies and a knowing preparedness in the Mandalorian citizens that it was only a matter of time before the streets erupted into violence again. Mandalorian Protectors and other private security forces were the only thing keeping the peace.

[*]Description: Ayrie was tibanna gas mining colony constructed in the habitable zone of the gas giant Shukut. Arguably the most diverse city in the Mandalore System, Ayrie was home to the Mandalorian star racer circuit, bounty hunters, and seedy gas tycoons. Constructed mostly out of lightweight beskar alloys, the massive mining colony consisted of a central ring connected to five arms covered in citiscape. The city utilized a complex combination of repulsors, engines, and gravity projectors to keep the city afloat and to keep gravity consistent on all of the arms.

The main ring, also known as Bralov District [Lit: Success District], was the seat of power for the upper echelons of Ayrie. Home to the successful gas mining company owners and other business tycoons, the interior of the Ring held beautiful gardens, art museums, upscale bars and clubs, and the luxury apartments gifted to some of the top racers and pilots in the galaxy. The different sectors of the Bralov District were secured by both Mandalorian Protectors and various private security forces. It wasby The epicenter of Bralov District was the MandalMotors and Mythosaur Electric complex. It served as both the corporate headquarters for Mythosaur Electric and one of the most upscale living experiences in the system. With its own private clubs, bars, casinos, and even its own race circuit, Mythosaur Tower was the undisputed throne of the station. Mythosaur Tower stood as both a beacon for the Mandalorians of Ayrie Station With the Mandalorian population largely being pushed into the cityscape of the Edee [Jaw/Tooth], Mythosaur Tower was like a stamp for all Mandalorians, reassuring them that this city was theirs.

The arms, also known simply as The Edee, by contrast were long stretches of cityscape. These places typically held gas miners, engineers, bounty hunters, and the bulk of the station’s Mandalorian population. Constructed in a much more utilitarian way, the Edee were covered in skyscrapers and infrastructure more akin to what one would find in the domed cities the likes of Sundari. These buildings lacked the luxury often found in those buildings however and were built cheaply with modular house blocks as the need for space on the station grew over the years. For the most part, citizens of the Edee lived their entire lives inside the buildings and structures of the Edee as there were very few outdoor areas due to the limitations of artificial gravity. Thus, citizens of the Edee were forced to live in the cramped spaces of the skyscrapers. The further one got from Bralov, the poorer you got. The slums of the outer tips of the Edee were incredibly dangerous and often poorly maintained. Artificial gravity failures were common on the tips along with tibanna gas leaks and loss of running water. It was on these tips that the Black Market of Ayrie thrived.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Mythosaur Tower: Corporate headquarters of Mythosaur Electric. Some of the most upscale living could be found here as well as the Mythosaur Race Circuit which hosted several races a year. It was protected by MandalMotors' own clone defense force.

Ayrie Race Circuit: A series of floating rings designed to guide racers through complex and deadly maneuvers. Large holodisplays and a multitude of holocam droids are located here

Hangars: A series of hangars along the main ring of Ayrie. The Hangars were where one of the only times workers from the Edee could enter Bralov District and were the home of most of the racers on Ayrie. The lower tiered racers held rivalries with racers from other gas colonies on Shukut. Both high and low ranked racers stored their prized starships here but as one moved up in level they moved up in quality of life. Higher tiered racers had larger hangars and more room for their engineers and crews where lower tiered racers got older, smaller hangars. Most of the low tiered racers and engineers actually commuted from the Edee.

Ayrie Spaceport: Located in Bralov district, the Ayrie Spaceport a state of the art location with dozens of large hangars for freighters and visiting ships. It was connected via rail to all of the Edee and some locations in Bralov District. The station publicly owned and run.

SECURITY
Medium: Mandalorian Protectors patrol the Edee and run general security for the whole city. Occasionally the Mandalore defense fleet patrols the area with a pair of frigates to watch for pirates. In the Bralov District many of the private companies hire their own security making some of the areas in the Bralov district ripe with mercenary activity. It wasn't uncommon to spot Vicks, Golden Company, or other large merc groups roaming the upscale areas of Ayrie.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Originally constructed by the Mandalorian Crusaders just prior to the Mandalorian Wars of the Old Republic, Ayrie was designed as a modular tibanna gas mining colony. During the war it would provide the bulk of high quality tibanna gas to the Mandalorians and gave their blaster bolts their distinctive yellow color. However, after the Mandalorian Wars and the years following the Mandalorian Excision, the peaceful New Mandalorians under Duchess Satine utilized the station to accumulate power in the Outer Rim. As the sector's leading tibanna gas provider, the New Mandalorians used the city as leverage to become the leader of the Council of Neutral Systems. For a time it was theorized that the Mandalore system's gas reserves were the main reason the Confederacy of Independent Systems wished for the Mandalorians to fall in line with them.

Over the years between the Mandalorian Wars and the Clone Wars, the station's population grew exponentially and the iconic large arms of the colony were added to support the booming population. It was one of these population booms that saw the explosion of foreigners that forced much of the Mandalorian Elite out of the Bralov district. Incentives spurred on by the Empire saw an increase in Imperial patrols which put even more Mandalorian out of the job as well. These events would lead to an explosive riot throughout the city after the battle of Endor ending with the Empire pushed from the city. Without their Imperial friends to keep their power the foreigners took to hiring ace pilots and private security to hold their slice of the city. Along with the pilots however, they brought a culture of high stakes gambling and racing. These pilots would go on to make the first racing league in the Mandalore System and would eventually become part of the Outer Rim circuit.

Tensions would stay high for hundreds of years until MandalMotors broke through the foreign tycoons' barrier to entry. With it the company brought large amounts of Mandalorian workers back to the Bralov district, though the Edee still held the majority of the Mandalorian population. After the Second Mandalorian Excision a new fifth arm was added. Much newer in comparison to the other Edee the arm held some of the best opportunity for work as largely Mandalorian corporations began moving various manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain jobs to that location. The Edee was also added to support the mass exodus of Mandalorians from the planet following the Second Mandalorian Excision and quickly became a strain on the economy of Ayrie. Some time after Yasha Mantis [Now Cadera] took the mantle of Mand'alor, the city began to stabilize, largely due to the focused efforts of Mythosaur Electric, a subsidiary of MandalMotors. They utilized their clout as one of Mandalore's leading tibanna gas providers and the friendship between the company's CEO and the Mand'alor to lobby for larger tax breaks, better security, and assisted living measures for those living in the slums of the Edee.

Much more secure and stable now than it was 50 years ago, Ayrie would continue to provide much of the Mandalore Sector with tibanna gas for many years.

[*]Fleet Symbol:
[*]Description: Echoylir was a wandering flotilla of Mandalorian, unaffiliated, and abandoned vessels under the ownership of various members of House Skirata. Originally comprised of defectors from Ra Viszla's regime, the fleet became comfortable with its place in Outer Rim Coalition space and its vibrant economy. While the ships were essentially life boats for the various clans and families that left their homeworld of Mandalore, the fleet also provided various services to various member worlds of the Outer Rim Coalition. As an easily accessible hub of Mandalorians the fleet was popular for bounty hunters and mercenaries to gather, especially its lead ship. It was also a good source of information, Mandalorian food such as Ironweed Wine and Dragon Bear Noodles, legal and illegal weapons and armor, and the lead ship also had a large berth that could hold corvettes and small cruisers for light repairs and refueling. In times of crises, Echoylir also fights to aid the people of the Outer Rim Coalition was a solid ally and much welcomed addition to the Coalition's ragtag fleet.
SOCIAL INFORMATION

[*]Goals: Echoylir's one and only goal is to provide a life worth living to the Mandalorians that decided to join them.
[*]Reputation: While some members of the Coalition in general disliked the idea of such a large Mandalorian fleet floating around their star systems, the reception in the Coalition has been relatively fine. They hyperlanes of whatever sector they were in seemed to clear of pirates at the mere mention of their name and people generally seemed to look at the fleet more as a traveling goods shop than a gross extension of Mandalorian Supremacy in the Galaxy. The Mandalorian Empire however at first watched the fleet with suspicion, and even now despite a good relationship between House Skirata's Alor and the Warden of Mandalore the fleet was still on watch due to its size.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
An event unlike any other in Mandalorian tradition its origins were lost to traditional histories. However, its roots were believed to be in the semi-annual hunts of ancient Mandalorians in which they took on large prey such as the Mythosaur, Beskar Epar, or some other fearsome beast native to the Mandalore system. These hunts often took place around the middle of spring during Vormur blooming season. Eventually with the extinction of the Mythosaur and the believed extinction of the Beskar Epar these hunts and the festivals attached to the victorious returns of these hunts were reserved for momentous occasions and eventually became associated with the almost semi-centennial super-bloom of the Vormur. The Vormur Feast was an incredibly rare event and most Mandalorians didn't see more than one of these in their lifetimes. Its original name was lost to time but was eventually changed to Vormur Feast. Off-worlders often wrongly assume it is named as such because it is a time of feasting based around a flower's super bloom but it was actually named so because the vast fields of Vormur were a feast for the eyes, nose, and soul. The most recent Vormur Feast occured much earlier than expected due to the Second Mandalorian Excision. Utilizing advanced terraforming technologies the Mandalorians were largely able to repair their world. While it was believed the next Vormur Feast wouldn't have been for two or three hundred years, the opposite occurred marking it the first time a Vormur Feast occurred within less than 100 years.
