SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Fully Automatic

  • Shotgun
Strengths:
  • Sustained Firepower- Let's be honest here: most automatic shotguns are not designed for sustained fire. In short bursts they're fine, but recoil and ammo limitations mean that holding down the trigger and spraying a room isn't typically as much fun as it sounds. Either you run it dry in a matter of seconds or you blow your own head off trying to manage the recoil. Giggles is designed to let you keep your booger hook on the bang switch and ride the lightning. Recoil is heavy, but manageable. The 50 round belts last a lot longer than your average box magazine.
  • Boom Broom- So maybe you won't be sweeping the dust up out of the hallway, but 50 rounds of 00 buckshot will sweep the hell out of any pesky lifeforms hanging around.

Weaknesses:
  • Cumbersome- Look, Giggles isn't exactly what you would call fun sized. Manuevering it in tight spaces is a pain, the ammo belts are heavy and take up a lot of space, and if it's a right pain to carry for any real length of time. The odd balance takes some getting used to as well.
  • Slow Reload- Belt fed weapons are not known for their quick reload times. Belt fed shotguns are even worse. If you don't kill everything in front of you with the first belt so you can reload in peace, you're gonna be in for a bad day.
DESCRIPTION

Giggles is a fully automatic belt fed shotgun, so called because it's impossible to fire the thing without giggling like a maniac. It is, for the most part, a standard belt fed slugthrower machinegun, only it's built to accommodate 12 gauge shotgun shells rather than the traditional rifle rounds. As such, the feed mechanisms are oversized, while the barrel is lighter. This throws off the balance somewhat, which means it takes some getting used to, but hey, that's a small price to pay for the firepower.

Giggles uses disintegrating link belts. Although the links have to be custom ordered from RCAA, they'll accept just about any commercially available 3 inch 12 gauge shotgun shell. Will not fire 2 3/4 inch or 3 1/2 inch shells.

[member="Rusty"], Only thing I will ask of you is for a source for the gif you have in the spoiler. With so many people around here pop-happy about their property, we need to cover our tracks with this kind of stuff.
