Intent: To create modern medication that will give humanoid species with weak immune systems temporary resistance to ailments. This is by no way a miracle drug, but where one might not have an immune system, it will establish a substantial defense.

Manufacturer: The Crynic Corporation

Model: N/A

Affiliation: Crynic/Open Market

Modularity: None.

Production: Mass Produced.

Material: A combination of bacta, vitamins, and cloned herbs from multiple worlds that will help block pathogens from entering the system.

Description: As the founder of Crynic Corporation, Sylvanan's first order of business was to help people like himself. The solution was to research the many common ailments that assault the general galactic populace. For Sylvanan, a common cold means death, and so a solution was devised. A mixture of bacta, vitamins, proteins, and various bits of cloned herbs were put together to create Giasal. Giasal's sole purpose is to allow those with weak immune systems, or those without one at all, to survive for a few hours outside of a bio-suit.

Giasal should not be considered as a form of protection against all pathogens. It provides a small barrier to colds, inflammation, and other vey common cases. It will do nothing for a perfectly healthy individual save for make them feel a bit more refreshed. Giasal does not protect against any especially lethal disease, and may not be compatible with all humanoids. Bodily rejection manifests in light headaches and dizziness for a few hours at a time. Giasal's effective time of use ranges from three to four hours, depending on how big the humanoid taking it is.

Alright, I really don't have any gripes with this, it's a nice sub. :)

I'm stamping this, but bear in mind that any abuse of its healing capabilities will get it re-reviewed in a flash. ;)
