Thanks to the layering of STP into the plating, well it does not cover the entire body instead directed at specific locations of major importance upon the body with the rest being made reinforced durasteel it gives the armor more durability against Blasters and EMP warfare with the added perk of giving the armor good protection from light sabers a side effect the original producers had not been expecting. This gives the armor and its users a great deal of protection and survivability on the battlefield from most threats.

• ​Adaptable:

Built based off the Clone Phase II and Stormtrooper armor, it was created with the simple concept. Any battlefield, any location and any enemy with that in mind it was built to be adaptable towards locations such as desert, frozen tundra, volcanic, swamp, forest and aboard vessels handling boarding actions. To this end the armor has been given a great deal of upgrades suited for any environment so troops being deployed towards a unique world if given enough time can modify their armor to handle the world more easily.

• Comfort:

​The one thing the GI-6 does not share with its predecessors is the fact it was made as a armor for bounty hunters and mercenaries, not armies. This fact means it was required to be well liked by its buyers and the best way to ensure that is to ensure comfort well wearing it and the ability to shrug off attackers. With this in mind the armors climate control and body glove were created to ensure the armor fit perfectly to its wearer and would keep them in comfort no matter the environment. Along with this the armor was shaped to handle most races and be easily modified to fit bodies in a way that would not cause discomfort.

Weaknesses:

• Joints:

Due to the plates being modified for comfort the joints in the armor have become noticeable weak points for attackers, well trained marksmen could cause a great deal of damage to a user if given time to aim. Along with it permitting more mobility to further causes it to be a known target for users.

• Sonic Attacks:

Due to the armor being aimed towards handling Blasters and other weaponry that is more known to come in contact with its users, Sonic weaponry was a after thought and due to cost restrains sacrificed in trade of ensuring it could be produced on a large enough scale for a enough users or in the end the Gallows and Black Sun Cartels.

• Time Restraint:

Well the armor is very adaptable and modular, the fact remains, its a slow process to modify the armor to work on specific environments or attach alternate gear. If the user is forced into a situation were hes on a time crunch and needs to move to a world is armor is not modified for he'll be feeling the pain of the environment more so than a modified armor variant might.

DESCRIPTION

Initially produced prior to the founding of the Gallows as a mercenary outfit by the now defunct predecessor Gallows Inc. Like many of the Gallows products over the years the GI-6 was made from a now defunct armor made during the Vong war but sidelined in preference of other armor at the time. Based off the storm trooper armor that had been renown during the days of the empire, Gallows Inc at the time was capable of bribing some officials to gain a hold of the design, locked away to be later modified and produced. Kharic the last of the Sliv family, enjoyed the design his ancestors had gained and used his resources to modernize it to fit with the era. Production of the armor started prior to the kidnapping of his daughter and his loyal bodyguard Tesari was given the first prototype set to use well hunting for his daughter. Two years later when the conflict between himself and his sons had transpired the armor had been stockpiled and was aimed towards becoming the main product of the company but instead was shirted towards outfitting the mercenaries that fought under Tesari for Kharic against his sons. Bye the end of the conflict, the armor had been well known and fully displaced to the underworld. With the collapse of Gallows inc with the death of its last heir outside the broken daughter in Tesari's care. She was left in charge and turned her group towards being a mercenary outfit that would make primarily use of the armor as a symbol of their existence. Well the armor would make its hands it a few other users though the capturing of dead bodies. The armor would not become wide spread outside the Gallows until they joined the Black Sun Cartels in a elusive contract, also bringing they're favored armor to the production lines of their new lords.

Given the thunder that could be heard due to ballistic fire arms in the streets during the conflict between father in sons many nicknamed the Thunder which it still carries to this day. Given its high adaptability and the fact the Gallows defend several worlds under the Black Sun Cartels as a fighting force it was required for them to be able to adapt. With the armor they were all ready sporting being more than capable given time they were split into companies with many being aimed towards a specific planet. Well this might permit them to react to any environment in a attempt to avoid time restraint limitations on modification to the armor it means limited manpower and their only hope being the companies being able to buy time for others to shift towards the new environment. The many Black Sun and Gallow mercenaries that use the armor favor it still given the comfort which is rare among armors that are not specifically customized for users, though it costs extra for special races that go beyond normal humanistic builds given the armor shares the human build of stormtrooper armor. But much like the Phase II armor once used by the clones given how customization it is many units enjoy modifying it colors to match unit decorations and styles making it apparent which company or group the user works for. Pale orange, Grey blue and black being the primary color of the Gallows though many units have their own variants with additional colors. Black Sun Cartel mercenaries enjoy using black or dark purple armor with a variant yellow visor to signify their loyalty. But some individuals have made their own variant and neither the Gallows or Black Sun have made any moves to change the freedom many users have with the armor.
