The Ghost was designed around the concept of being a hit and run attack corvette. The plan for that eventually fell through with the collapse of the Order's nearby Galactic Alliance problem. With the implementation of the Imperial Bloc's Mandate on its former territory, it had come to light that many of the Alliance's former friends and supporters weren't too inclined to let themselves be policed and prevented from reclaiming friendly territory. Which then breathed life into the Ghost's existence. Not only was it equipped with stealth tech, but its engines were built for speed so it could sneak past, or if necessary, out pace the ships that they encountered.
The Ghost isn't made to operate within the boundaries of an empire as a normal warship. The typical transponder information wasn't involved in the designing of the ship, thus, making it an unidentifiable ship, even in friendly territory. Only those with uppermost clearance knew of its existence in both Imperial empires.
The Ghost was a ship made for hunting, and those that sought to defy the Mandate would find themselves as prey.
