Description: Built as a general purpose bomber, the Ghost is just as comfortable in an atmosphere as in space, and is perhaps a little better due to the control surfaces added by the various wings. Internal baffels in the engines help maintain a slightly smaller energy signature, not much but just enough to help offset the ship's increased size over the Y-wing and various other bombers of ages gone by while they supply the power for the shields and the Ghost's cannon. Increasing the size was an unfortunate necessity to meet performance, payload, and cost requirements in order to reduce the required miniaturization and facilitate easy maintenance.

Offensively, the bomber carries a slightly lighter load than the old K-wing with a much reduced laser compliment than even the Y-wing, having it cut down to just a single heavy gatling laser cannon similar to the ones on the Syndicate's Hammer walker. Installed on the center-line beneath the cockpit, the whole ship vibrates from the force of it firing, and while the overheating problem was solved on the bomber version, after a five second burst drains the weapon's capacitor, sustained firing will induce a noticeable reduction in the shield's recharge rate as power is drawn away. A few seconds pause between short bursts is enough to prevent this however. The move away from more conventional weaponry was made to allow better strafing of a target zone, be it a ship, ground targets, a weapons emplacement, or those pesky interceptors.

Constructed with pilot safety and survivability in mind, Koensayr added in several non-standard overload breakers and fire suppressant systems as well as a payload jettisoning system standard on the craft. These features were designed to prevent a chain-explosion in the engines or the magazine exploding inside the ship, making it not unheard of for a ship to return home with an engine shot out and half a wing missing, even if the target zone isn't in flames. The targets should be the ones seeing the after-life, not the pilots.
