Getting Started

As new arrivals entered the Silver Campus on Voss, they would be greeted by an automated hologram in the likeness of Grandmaster Yune.

"Greetings and well met!"

"I am Arisa Yune, Grandmaster of the Silver Order, and Supreme Commander of the Antarian Rangers. Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude in your decision to join our ever growing family. No organization can exist without a solid foundation. Our foundation is our family. It is my hope that you will join our family in providing that foundation."

"Within the campus grounds, you will find the Silver Temple, where all Force Sensitives may train and study to not only to use their abilities in the Force, but also learn to wield their powers responsibly. Under the roof of the Silver Temple are some of the most gifted instructors the galaxy has to offer, ready to guide you on your journey of mastery over the Force, and then perhaps onto the arduous but rewarding path of the Jedi."

"However, we are so much more than just our temple. Our campus is home to one of the galaxy's largest and most advanced medical facilities, Ashla's Keep, a tier 1 trauma center and clinic offering free treatment to thousands of needy souls every day. Cutting edge research occurs at our facilities, making major breakthroughs all the time in association with several universities and healthcare companies."

"The Silver Services Corps also operates out of this campus, a volunteer group that provides a myriad of humanitarian services across the galaxy, from disaster relief to family counseling. The SSC is also a group dedicated to the sciences, and the exploration of our galaxy and beyond."

"The campus serves as the headquarters to the Antarian Rangers, a paramilitary organization that works hand in hand with the Silver Jedi to carry out its mission of protecting all those in need our support. These brave men and women who make up the Rangers go through some of the most grueling training imaginable to ensure that they're unrivaled in combat."

"Whatever direction you have chosen to take, be it the Silver Temple, Ashla's Keep, SSC, or the Rangers (or maybe even a combination of the above!), the Assembly and I would like to congratulate you on taking the first step in arriving here today."

"My door will always remain open to take questions or even just to chat, so don't don't ever feel afraid to approach me about anything."

"Finally, I would like to remind you that we are all family here. Treat your peers as you should any family member, with tolerance, compassion, and respect."

She bowed. "We wish you nothing but good tidings during your stay on Voss. May the Force be with you - always."

The hologram lingered active for a short while before shutting down, ready to reactivate the next time someone new passed through the campus entrance.

About once a week, whenever Arisa was on Voss, she liked to personally host an orientation with incoming students to the Silver Temple as they first came through. Most of them would be children and teenagers looking to get their start in learning more about the Force, but there would also be adults and even a few experienced Force Users in the mix. Regardless of their age or level of expertise, they were all encouraged to meet with Arisa as the temple’s newest batch of residents.

As usual, she was hosting the class within the observatory. Being someone who enjoyed the sciences, the observatory was perhaps her favorite spots in the temple outside of the workshops. The Silver Order, in general, was one Jedi organization that valued the pursuit of knowledge, all to better understand the people and the world around them.

Arisa stood at the entrance of the observatory as people entered, giving each one a warm greeting as they passed by. She would give everyone who planned on meeting with her a few more minutes to arrive before she started orientation, though the door would remain for anyone one else that cared to join even after she did start talking with the group.

"Who show's up this late."

"Yea I suppose, I'm sorry. Well my timing is never right." Kiran muttered under his breath as he entered the Academy and it seemed those that were there were able to find him a room, or they were working on it. However as he took the next few steps and he smiled while glancing up and looking around up at the building. A hologram popped up and he glanced to the side quickly as it began to speak. Kiran crossed his arms as he listened attentively to the hologram as it continued to speak.

"May the force be with you, always...." Kiran whispered under his breath, a small smirk showed upon his face as a Temple guard had alerted him that a small room was made available.

********

A few days had passed already and he received word that the Grandmaster was having an orientation of such, held in the observatory. Kiran was dressed in his standard attire, outside of the Iron Auxiliary armor when warranted of course. The young man ventured towards the place of meeting and upon arrival gave a small smile and nod towards [member="Arisa Yune"] , moving past her he entered the observatory as a small smile graced his face and he took one of the open seats, waiting.

Rayvon who had just recently been allowed into the Silver order was escorted by the two jedi who say him sneak out of a ship that had landed on Voss. Luckily for Rayvon the jedi were kind enough to give him simple robes to hide the fact that he was a pureblood. Once he entered the campus a hologram appeared which startled Rayvon but once the hologram started talking Rayvon was relieved and happy and once the hologram stopped talking Rayvon yelled

"Thank You Grandmaster [member="Arisa Yune"] "

of course the jedi who were with him had to inform him that it was a pre recorded hologram which made Rayvon embarrassed that he thought it was the real grandmaster.

---------------

After a couple of days Rayvon heard that the Grandmaster of the Silver Jedi Order was hosting orientation for new jedi. Rayvon quickly made sure his robes were nice and clean then ran to the observatory of course he made sure his hood was still covering most of his head. When Rayvon got to the observatory he changed pace to a quick walk and once he saw the Grandmaster he got nervous unsure how he should act infront of her so he decided to quickly walk past her and into the observatory. Once inside Rayvon decided to sit at the front deciding that the people who would be the biggest problem for him would most likely sit in the back.

[member="Kiran Arlos"]

Valae Kitra walked towards the Silver Temple’s observatory, her hands clasped gently behind her back. With a pleasant smile, she observed the hustle and bustle of the entrance to the Temple. As always, the area was quite busy – Jedi of all ranks were walking about, and there were some that had an unmistakable newness about them. For a moment, she stood with her hands on her hips and a beaming grin on her face. The Jedi healer still remembered her own first days spent at the temple.

After a few had entered, she made her way inside to the observatory, a very fitting place for such an orientation. It was yet another reminder that the galaxy was a mighty big place, something she had learned the hard way. Valae’s hands smoothed out the front of her robe before she walked over towards the Grandmaster. She greeted her friend with a polite nod, and a sly wink of her eye. The two were friends, but at times it was best to put on a professional display.

“It’s a nice day for an orientation; I’m lookin’ forward to seeing all the new faces.” She smiled.

She lingered there by the door for a few moments, and then stepped inside.

Valae kept towards the edge of the room, and found a seat towards the back. Of course, it was always nice to offer the newcomers a warm welcome, but she had her own reason for being here today. She hoped to find an apprentice to train. She was confident that the force would bring her someone compatible, someone that shared her own interests and would do well under her guidance.

For now she would wait quietly, intentions masked behind an amiable expression.

Carona Totsari

It takes true strengh to turn the other cheek
Traditional Jedi hood over her head, a tiny togruta was holding a protein bar at the entrance of the room. Wary of if the classroom barred food and drink, she was eating before entering the observatory. She shoved the heart snack into her mouth and tried to chew the heavy contents into something suitable to swallow. She was practically always hungry due to her aggravating metabolism, but she was also emotional eating.

Carona had been here her whole life, training as a you going. A mixture of anxiety and optimism took her when she was made a Padawan. With no master of guidelines her, she was lost on where to move under this freshly appointed title.

Maybe she would find a mentor today…

Swallowing the last of her food and throwing the wrapper into a trash bin, entered the room. The mute pulled her hood down, walking towards the edge of the room and nervously leaning against the wall. Pulling her robes over herself, she made sure nobody noticed her hugging herself in worry.

Voss.

On any other day, it was not typically a planet the senator would find herself on. Conventionally, she preferred to have her tutors come to her on Talasea deep in Commenori space, but this was a special case. Yusana's Force Sensitivity had manifested itself roughly 3 years ago, at first plaguing her with disturbing dreams that turned out to be premonitions sometimes, and an unexpected honing of her powers of insight and precognition, the latter of which was already sharp to begin with, Echani that she was. It's been an unnerving 3 years - 3 years of discovery, 3 years of lucid terror, 3 years of re-evaluating her goals, and the steps that would have to be taken to achieve them.

The final decision was that ultimately she'd get to the bottom of these Force abilities and master it, as she has always done her whole life with any tool or technique at her disposal. She'd already made the arrangements - proxies and appointments that would allow her to disappear from Talasean political life for a while - into the shadows where she could gather strength and pool her abilities.

Yusana had only briefly stopped by the holo-image of her acquaintance, [member="Arisa Yune"], before continuing on towards the observatory - no longer feeling the need for formal pleasantries with a friend she'd grown to respect, and yet surprisingly still did not know much about. In hindsight she chastised herself for not coming to know the Jedi Grandmaster, but alas, here she was. The Silver Temple's campus was a marvel in and of itself - padawans could be seen along with their masters, training, consulting, conversing - honing. It was a pleasant sight, but the Echani knew deep down that she had not the luxury of time in the same way they did. She was one grounded in the world, active in the political sphere, and ever the scholar. Other, perhaps more radical measures would have to be taken to speed up the learning process.

As she approached the observatory's door, and upon seeing her old friend the Grandmaster, the Echani silently offered a light bow, her eyes closing as a soft, pursed smile formed on her lips. She brought up her right hand to rest over her chest as well - a genuine gesture of utmost respect for an old friend. Wearing her elegant, dark brown fiber-weave armor suit with a crimson robe on top of it, its seams around her shoulder held together by a brooch of her government's aquila, she looked both regal and austere. Her deep, heavy-set green eyes then looked upon Arisa once more as she smiled more before talking.

"The galaxy works in strange ways, old friend. It's good to see you."

Eri'anya let out a sigh as the hologram flickered off, letting the welcoming message sink in once more. It had been two days since she first saw that recorded message, her arrival on Voss still fresh in mind as the young Jedi pulled her cloak just a bit tighter over her shoulders. New locales had never been a challenging prospect for her, but the fact that she had a room to sleep in and store her few possessions gave the whole place a feeling that had become rather unfamiliar over the years. It would be an understatement to say that the small Jedi was nervous, and she could only hope none of her reservations were showing on her face.

She gave Grandmaster [member="Arisa Yune"] a friendly nod as she entered the observatory, mumbling something along the lines of a greeting as she looked over woman from the hologram. That repeating message had not adequately captured the senior Jedi's general air of courtesy, though whether it was imagined or legitimate was not immediately clear. Regardless, the relative newcomer found a sense of comfort washing over her after their brief encounter, her worries vanishing as she hunted for an appropriate seat. Hopefully something off to the side was open, where there was less chance of ending up behind somebody.

One of the first arrivals to the observatory would be Kiran Arloss, an Iron she recognized from her previous missions within IE space. While Aster still remained on Csilla, Arisa was still overjoyed to have the SJO's closest allies once again set foot on Voss. She smiled and nodded in return as he came past her at the entrance.

Next came the initiate Rayvon, a Sith Pureblood. He was only the second Pureblood to cross through the doors of Silver Temple, and perhaps the only other one she knew of that had ever attempted the Jedi Path, the first being [member="Kaden"].

Along with
Rayvon, there was the initiate Corona, as well as the Knight Eri'anya, whom she was already familiar with. In rare form, she found Eri'anya without her usual companion Charity. She took it as a good sign that both Knights were becoming comfortable enough to move around separately.

In a pleasant surprise,
Valae also appeared, quietly situating herself in one of the back rows. Valae certainly knew her way around the temple, but her company was welcome all the same. As she was around, Arisa figured she would let her friend speak about the Silver Circle, the Silver Jedi's resident healing specialists.

Though that surprise paled in the comparison to the next one, which forced her to do a double take. It was Yusana Fenni, whom she never expected to see anywhere this side of Kashyyyk. Yusana was now a Senator within the CSA, she recalled. They hadn't been especially close in the past, but it was clear even then that the woman was going places. Definitely someone she wanted to have in her corner.

"It certainly does, Yusana." She reached out to give her a caress on the shoulder. "
Or Senator, I should say. I'm happy to have you with us today. Let's catch up after this."

She motioned for Yusana to take her seat among the growing crowd, already thinking about the conversation she going to have with her friend after she completed orientation. She liked the woman personally, but there was just something off about her that required closer examination.

After lingering at the entrance way a few minutes more, she took her position at the center of the room before a vivid holo display of the Voss system, looking around the room before she started addressing the crowd.

"Good morning to everyone, and thank you all for coming. I'm sure by now you've all seen my welcome message, but in case you haven't, then I will introduce myself now. I am Arisa Yune, Grandmaster of the Silver Jedi Order, and Supreme Commander of the Antarian Rangers. I often come and go on official business, so I'm not always present to see you all when you first arrive at Voss Campus. These orientation sessions are then as much about me getting acquainted with you as much as getting you all spun up on the workings of the Silver Jedi. So, to start things off, I'd like to go around the room and have you all state your name, and the reason(s) you decided to come to the Silver Temple today."

Valae turned slightly to observe the others that entered the room. She offered small smiles to each, but her gaze lingered on the petite form of a Torgruta. The girl entered the room in a meek fashion and remained towards the edge of the room, her presence nearly sinking into the wall – like she did not wish to be seen. Her chestnut eyes blinked a couple of times, but remained focused on the girl. There was something about her; Valae couldn’t quite put her finger on it…

But being the friendly sort that she was, she grinned and motioned for [member="Carona Totsari"] to come sit down. Valae’s hand gave the empty chair next to her a pat, a friendly invitation to join her.

“Hi there, I’m Valae Kitra.” She said with a nod, her voice hushed. “C’mon over and have a seat.”

It seemed there would be very little time for introductions at the moment though, for [member="Arisa Yune"] was about to take the stage. She didn’t want to risk interrupting the Grandmaster, so she flashed the young woman an encouraging smile.

Rayvon regretted his decision to sit at the front since that meant he would have to be one of the first people to introduce themselves. Of course he couldn't say the real reason he joined the order since he really only got on voss by mistake and was personally unsure if he really wanted to join or if he did it just because he was caught by two jedi. Rayvon decided to go with the first choice as it was the safest bet. Rayvon made sure his hood was tightened and stood up.

"My name is Rayvon Rath and I have come to the Silver Temple to learn how to be a jedi"

As Rayvon spoke it was clear he was uncertain of his true reason for coming.

[member="Valae Kitra"][member="Arisa Yune"][member="Eri'anya Forr"][member="Yusana Fenni"][member="Carona Totsari"][member="Kiran Arlos"]

Yusana waited for the others to settle down first, opting to say nothing as she quietly gathered her thoughts in silence. She sat with her hands on her lap, with not a single weapon on her yet. She was familiar with the practices and traditions of the Jedi, and thus felt no need to arm herself on this little trip - not even that lightsaber she took off from a rogue Force User's body after she dismantled the poor fool with nothing but her own hands and a dueling shield. In time, she presumed, she'd learn to craft her own lightsaber - a skill far more useful than any one tool she could pry off the common person.

The Echani now looked to the Grandmaster at the center of the room, not for a second breaking her sense of, or attention to propriety fitting of a faction's senator. Her brilliant, green eyes trained on Arisa's form, ever careful to note everything from the fabrics she wore and their probably origins, to her body language. Very controlled, Yusana noted, a true master. She was not close enough however to single out that little silhouette against her clothing that would hint of a lightsaber, but she was also too far to make that subtle detail out.

And so after Reyvon introduced himself, Yusana rose to her feet next as she smiled softly and turned a gaze to everyone in a room before finally turning to the grandmaster.

"I am Yusana Fenni. Senator of the Commenor Systems Alliance, and governor-general of Talasea. I've come here because I want to help the galaxy."

Kaiza Pawaro

Do, or do not. There is no try.
Every occasion that saw a certain young Jedi return to Voss, it was no different from the first time she set foot on the planet. Kaiza Pawaro liked to travel, discover, explore; yet Voss presented a constant in her journeys – an end that wasn't really the end, merely marking the start of a new beginning, always there, waiting for her to come back. Perhaps it was the warmth of familiarity radiating from the planet that put a spell on her – she felt bound to it and its inhabitants not by blood, but through a common set of ideals and goals. In any case, the majestic Jedi temple on Voss was the only place she’d call home, calling her back and willingly . As her robe-clad form strode forth, stepping softly, she noted a refreshing breeze brushing against her raven hair. A tender smile appeared in her expression, curling the corners of her lips without seeking permission.

Fashionably late, albeit seemingly oblivious to the fact at first, Kaiza found her place among others in the observatory. Just another Jedi for most, no doubt – although the sturdy gloves obviously made for manual labour set her apart from the standard monk-esque Jedi. Still wearing the warm smile, one she eagerly shared with others, the golden-skinned Padawan let her green-hued eyes settle on the Grandmaster herself.

“I hope I’m not too late, Grandmaster,” said the Mirialan, smile gaining mischievous proportions as her farming gloves positively relayed the reason for not arriving on time. Old habits and all that; while some found meditation to be the ultimate answer to peace and clear mind, Kaiza knew the soothing balm only hard work offered. There was simplicity and humility to be found in dirt.

“I am Kaiza Pawaro,” she smiled tenderly, “A pleasure to meet you. All of you.”

Black-haired head turned, briefly glancing over others before those two green jewels fell upon the Grandmaster once more.

“It was Fate that brought me here.”

Or the Force, as others called it. There was zero difference for the young Padawan.

As more individuals began to enter the room, Kiran began to grow slightly nervous. While he felt that he shouldn't simply because he had dealt with more pressure situations other than this. While this didn't need to be one, it seemed like it was going to be for him. Kiran smiled and waved his hand somewhat awkwardly at those that came in after him. Perhaps he was beginning to get so nervous because this was a big step for him. While the force was new to him, he wanted to learn and grow stronger from it. Not necessarily powerful, but he yearned for the knowledge that should the day come he could advise and instruct those few in the future. And while there was still a darkness to him that he desperately wanted to escape, but he didn't know how to. He hoped this would be a beginning to more to him. While the Iron Empire had indeed changed his life for the better, he wanted more. Kiran wasn't sure if that was selfish or something of that sort.

It looked like it was his turn as he glanced around the room slightly, while standing up and clearing his throat slightly.

"Hello...I'm Kiran Arlos. I'm here because....." There was a slight pause to that which lasted only three seconds but seemed to last an eternity for him. "I'm here because I need help." The young man nodded again as he took a seat and awaited for things to move forward.

Seated next to Kiran was Yusana, who now recognized the youth as he stood up and introduced himself. While never quiet looking at him directly, it was enough for her to faintly detect that same Force signature that she picked up from him back on Commenor. It wasn't as though they were chums however, as she never really had any reason to talk to the young boy. At best it would be one of her servitor droids or her Echani Firedancer bodyguard would have spoken with him, but even that was unlikely as the Echani and the native auxiliaries from Talasea mostly kept to themselves.

Now there seemed to be something to be said of the boy's.. apparent lack of self-confidence. Or perhaps, something deeper and more sinister lingered deep inside - a tragedy? It was hard to tell. The Senator of Talasea, only 6 years older than Kiran, offered the boy a smile as he sat back down. Her eyes drifted downward to the boy's knees and presumably where his rested hands would be as her head tilted to the side.

"I know you", Yusana began as her soft smile eventually turned into a grin. "Weren't you in the chamber with Lady Kay during the drafting of the CSA charter back on Commenor?"

Kiran somehow seemed to breath a little bit easier after sitting down for a few moments, and he noted that he was a bit more at ease. However that didn't last long until he glanced to his side to the girl looking his way and she spoke that she knew him.

"You do?" Kiran said in a soft voice as he raised an eyebrow slightly curious as he looked her over and racked his brain trying to figure out where she could've seen him. And after she spoke up again in became clearer and he was slightly disappointed that he hadn't picked it up earlier with her introduction. Then again he just simply blamed that on his own demeanor. While he didn't have an issue working security and guarding royalty, he seemed to have an issue sitting in a room full of force users.

"Ah yes, I remember your face." Kiran said with a small smile returning what was given to him, and he nodded his head in respect. "Well, I wasn't exactly in the room per se, just securing the complex."

Kiran chuckled softly. "Small galaxy, eh.I'm Kiran." He held his hand out towards her. It always seemed that when he was having discussion with individuals and talks and such things seemed so much easier, his mind was at ease he figured. It was drawn away from what was bothering him and it made his life less stressful. However with that being said you would think he'd talk more, but he didn't.

At least not more than the average person did.

OOC: See what happens when you're off for a single day? xD

As the other conversed and stated their names, Carona grew worried. She was mute, and she was unsure how everyone would go about with her suddenly tapping into their minds to speak their names. She looked over though to see a master motioning her to come sit with her. Blue eyes shook in nervousness, but she walked over. Sitting next to the mentor, she noticed her shoot her a smile before she spoke.

As the other students talked, she warily watched the jedi from the corner of her eyes. Well... it's worth a shot.

This was where she used her telepathy to attempt to politely tap into the jedi's mind. Hoping that the teacher would accept the opened link, she mentally spoke, Hi, I'm Carona... Apologies, but I'm mute. How do I do these introductions?

The darkness lays ever near the light.
Darren arrived on Voss much later than the rest of the visitors. Partly due to the amount of preparation it now took for him to travel anywhere due to his injuries. These injuries are those that he had endured during the recent invasion. Mountains of debris had fallen upon him - leaving him severely bruised and with several broken and fractured bones within his right leg.

Departing from his starship with crutches underneath both arms, he steadily made his way to auditorium in which the Grandmater was giving his orientation. Although he was not new to the ranks of the Silver Jedi, what was new was his enlightenment of his force sensitivity. Within the same invasion, he had found himself in possession of the immense power which they called the Force. For years, he had been kept in the dark about the power that he had possessed since he was born. Now that he knew of it, it was now time to learn how to make use of it - that is why he was here on this day.

He slowly made his way into the Silver Temple, struggling with his crutches as he did so. He hated being limited to his movement - to what he could do. It sucked, but he had to stay on these sticks until he healed. He managed to get half way down the stairs before he tripped over. He crutches fell in synchronicity. As a group moved to help him up, he snapped at them "No! I- I've got it..." The man reached to grab his crutches oncemore, using them to push himself to the standing position. Shaking his head, he made his way to a seat on the very middle row for practical reasons.

"The name's Darren Torran. I found the force quite recently, during the sith invasion of Krayiss II. I'm here today to learn the very basics - lay the foundation for training and possible find a master to teach me. Well... Once I've recovered, of course."

Valae let her eyes wander the room as the newcomers began introductions. All of them seemed enthusiastic and glad to be there – it was nice to see. Some wanted to help make the galaxy better, others wanted to learn, but no matter their reasons… they had come to the right place. She gave a quick nod to [member="Darren Torran"], she recognized him from Ord Radama. Of course, it was interesting to learn that he was a force-user -- she hadn't a clue. But then again, last time she'd seen him, the man had been clad in the armor of the rangers that carried Ysalamir.

For a moment, her gaze flickered to the Torgruta at her side.

And then, she felt a gentle brush against her mind. Her brows rose slightly, but she allowed the words to flow into her mind. Blinking once or twice, she realized that this must be quite a strange situation for the young one. But she gave a nod and a warm smile. “Not to worry,” She sent back telepathically to [member="Carona Totsari"]. Turning back to face the group, she spoke up when there was a momentary lull.

“Greetings everyone,” She started with a friendly tone, “My name is Valae Kitra, I’m sure I’ll be seeing all of you around the temple. And it is my pleasure to introduce you to Carona.”

She gestured to the young woman seated at her side.

Eri'anya looked about the room, fingertips drumming along her knees as more and more newcomers spoke up. It was certainly an diverse group, Jedi of all shapes and sizes introducing themselves to the room. The Knight could even swear she spotted what looked to be a small child in the mix, but the Togruta had not seen fit to speak up yet. While it was hardly unusual to spot younglings in a hall of Jedi learning, they inevitably stood out when accompanied by adults. Adults of more average proportions than her, anyway.

As yet another pause echoed between the string of introductions, Eri'anya figured the time had properly announce herself. Rising to her full height, unimpressive as it was, the Jedi brought her best public speaking voice to bear. "My name is Eri'anya Forr, and-" For a brief moment she stumbled, mulling over her word choice over the length of a deep breath. Once she regained her footing, she carried on. "-and I'm hoping train with the best, so I can get stronger with the force." She gave a small bow to the room, clasping her hands together before her. "It's a privilege to meet all of you!"

She stood a moment longer, casting a smile about the room before taking her seat once more. Well... that wasn't so bad!

One by one, just about everyone provided their answer on their reasoning to come to Voss. Having hosted several orientations before in this very observatory, she had heard them all before, but each answer provided a bit of insight on their character.

The answer that resonated with her the most was Kiran’s, seeking help. Arisa had been in his shoes when she had gotten her start at the Jedi Academy on Coruscant, a ward of the state, swirling with darkness from years of negative exposure to the absolute dregs of Plexian society, blood on her hands. Sometimes she shuddered to think what she could have become if she had remained in that toxic environment without any guidance.

“Thank you all for your answers,” she said with a nod. “Now I think it’s only fair that I share mine. I had a...difficult childhood, so I relished the peace and comfort afforded to me studying at the Coruscanti Temple as an initiate. For the first time in my life then, I felt safe and loved. As I grew older, I decided that was a feeling that I wanted to reciprocate with all those around me. Especially in these trying times for the galaxy.”

“Now that we know a little about each other, I’d like to talk more about the courses offered here at the Silver Temple. The first being general courses designed to teach all residents how to wield their abilities responsibly and learn how to peacefully cohabitate with Non-Force Sensitives in everyday society. Not only should you expect training exercises in these general courses, but also several classes covering the basic ethics of Force Use.”

“We have more specialized courses for those who wish to become Jedi. These courses are open to everyone, but during these lessons, students are held to much higher standards of conduct as they learn more advanced, and sometimes restricted, techniques and knowledge pertaining to the Force. Expect more rigorous philosophical classes revolving around Jedi code and our tenants. This is not for everyone, so I would advise you all to think very carefully before proceeding. It is usually encouraged to complete the general courses first, and at times, we may require certain individuals to do so.”

“In addition to Force related studies, we also offer a standard academic curriculum. Education is very important to us as Jedi, and we pride ourselves in having top notch accredited facilities on par with all the first rate learning institutions across the galaxy. There’s a very good chance that many of you will be leaving here a few degrees under your belt. I have about 30 myself!”

Of
course, she was joking, and some picked up on that, breaking out into chuckling. She began to pace around the room, giggling a bit herself. “Any questions for me at this point?”
