Getting a Leg Up... Or At Least Attached

Something made Lor's eyes snap open. Not the Force, because he didn't have that particular knack. Both his sons did, but he certainly didn't. He tried to ignore it, but he couldn't go back to sleep. Rolling out of bed as carefully as he could, he walked out to the kitchen and pulled himself a cup of coffee.
Then Lor realized what the thing that was bothering him was the sound of his nearly-muted comm buzzing. An intel flash from Golden Coast's security network... With James Justice's face on it. What was he going to drag him into this time? He thought about going back to the bedroom and waking Rawnie up, but she was probably tired if she hadn't woken up from him moving around.
Well, time to get dressed and hope that he didn't have a big mess to clean up later.

James' wrist comm was ringing, waiting for that fething blue skinned psychopath to pick up. The Lost Angel behind James was still warm from its landing sequence--not that he had landed easily. It would need a tune up before launch, he knew. Ordinarily he would have babied the ship, landing carefully and cooling it well. But now, now that was the least of his worries.

Legs pounding the sidewalk, James clutched Stardust's body to his chest. Her legs had been severed from the rest of her body, left on some grusome battle field where he had scrapped her off the sidewalk. She had called him on the SOS sygnal; something he reserved only for employees of Justice Shipping. Cutting corners and pushing to the limits, James had almost lost a second ship because of this twe'lik.

He had tired to call his warning in, but that time was over. Swiping his universal key card across the door scanner, James burst into Lor's clinic. He didn't have time at this point to be nice or say please. He wasn't a doctor anyway, what did he know about this?

"Where the feth are you, Lor?" He shouted setting Stardust on a gurney, "get ye fething arse over here. Star's lost her fething legs--we need some of your fething medical voodoo."

James' heart was pounding in his ears, he had a doubt what he said made any sense. But what mattered, what mattered was star was dying and she needed someone with his skills to save her life.

Star panted and her breath cane out ragged and heart rate was dropping, she felt cold despite the sweat on her entire body.

Worst was she couldn't remember where she was...or how Jane's had found her, last she remembered was a saber....a searing pain.... Then darkness....

Sith..I gotta get him"she said through gasps and strained to set up but kept basically flopping on the gurney "I must stop...I must stop..I gotta save those wookie children" she said eyes fluttering"

Blue eyes snapped open. She could sleep through so much, but something puled her awake. She called it her 'mommy instinct'. Little things woke her now. Small sounds. Important sounds. Like the sound of a baby rolling over in his cradle, or a nearly muted commlink buzzing from the other room.
The groggy blonde pulled a blanket up over her head, wearing it like some ceremonious robe, dragging behind her as she walked out of the bedroom to find her husband.

"Lor'ika," she murmured, "Your stupid comm woke me up."

Lor's eyes widened as he stepped out the door that led to the clinic and saw James standing over a shaking figure on a gurney. He quickly bolted down his cup of coffee and set the cup down, rifling through his medical cabinet for a sedative. He tossed a harried look at Rawnie.
"Sorry, Cat... Apparently this idiot got one of his other friends hurt."
He finally found the tube he was looking for and loaded it into a syringe before wordlessly sticking the needle into the woman's arm. And then he yelped as he realized that there was nothing where her legs should've been. Lor glared at James.
"What did you do?"

The sleepy Mandalorian wandered into the clinic after her husband. She blinked twice, then dropped her blanket. A long stream of curses spilled from her mouth as she hurried, barefoot and still dressed in nothing but a long nightshirt, to her husbands side.

"Forget what he did, Lor," the woman snapped, checking her pulse, "Her heart rate is dropping. We need to get to work. Now."

Yes. 'We'. He was going to need an assistant, and she doubted anyone else here had any real experience with treating serious wounds. It was amazing the skills you picked up on the batlefeild.

James fell back, giving the couple room. His medical expertise was limited to what you could get in a barroom brawl or on a ship's engine room. Either way he had no clue how to help save a woman who had lost her legs.

"It gonna be alright, Stardust, they gonna take care of ye," he assured her, trying to send calm and relaxation into her through the Force and his pheromones.

He reached into his jacket pocket and fished out a flask of ale. Taking a drink with unsteady hands he calmed his nerves, "I ain't done nothing. She sent a distress sygnal. Me thinks some saber-jockey nonsense."

James knew he would be no good here, he turned and found his way out of the door and took a seat in a dark room. The spacer fished a cigarette out of his pocket and began puffing a could of some around himself. He slowly, slowly felt the edge leave. But he was still terrified for Star's life.

Stardust felt the need go in and bolts up with a hand on [member="Doctor Azure"]'s shoulder before paying and relaxing down"its doc..the blue doc"she said as she closed her eyes the sedative kicking in some as her breathing steadied very little and her heart rate continued to drop as she shivered

What..what..the blue doc...huuu7" she said as she finally was under the sedatives cloud
