Intent: Create the signature weapon of the future Geonosian Elites, and a small public lightfoil
Development Thread: An Early Christmas (Crystals and schematics/blueprints.)
Note: Crystals are not for every lightlazz made, specifically made for the future "Geonosian Elites" meaning five or six Lava Crystals only.
Manufacturer: Geonosian Industries
Model: Geonosian Lightlazz
Affiliation: Limited Market
Modularity: It can hold a maximum of 2 crystals, and can be swapped or changed
Production: Minor
Material: Bronzium, Arcetron
Classification: Sword/Lightsaber/Lightfoil
Size: One-handed
Length: 18cm (Hilt), 1.35m (Blade)
Weight: 0.9kg
Special Features: Locking Activator, Trapped Grip

Strengths:
Precision - Allows for near-perfect flexibility and more accuracy of movements for the user
Weaknesses:
Durability - Not exactly fragile, but the weapon has little to no resistances, aside from blunt forces
Strength - The lightlazz is not as strong as a lightsaber, perhaps even half the strength of one. Extreme pressure forced on the blade may cause the lightlazz to short out, such as prolonged dueling.

Description: The Geonosian Lightlazz was a Lightfoil-based Lightsaber-copycat to not only make a (hopefully) valuable product, but a daring weapon for specially chosen Geonosian Elites. It's technology was found with the aid of a Sith after procuring data and a captured noble for assistance. Although the noble didn't willingly help, other tactics (namely, duels) aided in figuring out correct shapes and postures for not only the weapon, but its intended Geonosian wielders. Easily form-fitted, the lightlazz's grip can be form fitted to almost any individual, after custom ordering, but is premade only for Geonosians and Humans. Based on the Lightfoil, it allows any user to wield it, without having to be Force-sensitive in the slightest, and handles almost like any other sword-type melee weapon... perhaps even a little bit lighter without a blade.

From the technology template page:
2. Fully constructed lightsabers are restricted to a maximum of semi-unique production.
If these are intended to be lightsabers, or a variation thereof, and is fully constructed with lightsaber crystals and such included, this will need to be Semi-Unique production or below.

If this is intended to be identical to a lightfoil (a type of energy sword that is based on the aesthetics of a lightaber but is not capable of performing the same feats as one), this should be fine, as long as it is not a fully constructed lightsaber.

It is not as strong as a lightsaber. To be honest, it will depend on the crystal, but they can cut and slice, but are only half as strong at cutting through turadium and can half-hazardly deflect blaster bolts. They can, however, stand up to a lightsaber when they clash. Perhaps I should add to the weakness that too much power discharged will cause it to fail (An example is if a lightlazz and a lightsaber press against each other with enough force for long enough, the duration shorter than an average fight, the blade will short out)

However, these post-Cleansing lightfoils were weaker than the authentic or "archaic" lightfoils due to the poor quality focusing crystals used in their manufacture and the relatively low level of craftsmanship compared to Jedi artisans. However, the knockoff lightfoils apparently did not require any connection to the Force to create, and were fully usable by non-Force sensitives.

For all intents and purposes, I will consider this a lightsaber then. Turadium is utilized for blast doors and is very resilient to a lightsaber.

The rule stated in our Technology template will then need to be followed, so no production over Semi-Unique for a completed lightsaber.

I just said half the power of a lightsaber. considerably longer than a lightsaber cutting through it. What does it take for TPM to cut through it? a few minutes? A lightfoil is still a lightsaber, yes, though significantly weaker and requires no force sensitivity.

Put a blurb in your submission that states this is not comparable to a lightsaber (or is half as powerful).
