STANDARD FEATURES
  • Based off of the original Recusant-class Light Destroyer, the Recusant-II is designed to not innovate in stronger defenses, but rather stronger engine units, maneuvering thrusters, and improved weapons systems, as well as gravitic deflector shields layered over its normal shielding systems, to essentially create a form of mass-producible star destroyer commerce raider, supply harassment ship, and easily modifiable with not only a droid brain to replace its general crew (though this comes with its own weaknesses), but also that of the ability to utilize its jammers both hyperwave and sublight to essentially disrupt enemy convoys. While not heavily armored (indeed, it's on the lighter side) or shielded, its speed and maneuverability is superb for a star destroyer, making it to dart in and out of a fight. Can carry up to four squadrons of snubcraft from a dorsal hangar that has a retractable door.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Hyperwave jammers, communications (sublight) jammers, droid brain, heuristic processors for said droid brain, interdiction jammer.
STRENGTHS
  • Jamming and interdiction systems are advanced enough to allow it to not only attempt to jam enemy vessels in both communications and in attempting to flee, but also to keep fighting thanks to improved power generation units while performing such tasks.

  • Increased armaments and power to them makes it surprisingly effective at the potential of tearing apart enemy ships - suitable for convoy raiding or disrupting logistics lines with Loth-wolf Pack Tactics.

  • Gravitic deflectors allow for kinetic ordnance to be deflected from the main body, thus helping to defend against attempted bomber strikes.

  • Very High speed and maneuverability allows for it to utilize maneuvers comparable to corvettes and speeds akin to a particularly fast starfighter (around 115 MGLT), making it able to catch up to enemy ships with potentially little problems.

  • Cheap to produce, easy to create, and quick to roll out, entire squadrons of Recusant-IIs can be pumped out very quickly and used against the enemy as commerce disruption vessels - in addition to the droid brain enabling a great rate of production without the need for training organic crews.

  • The Recusant-II is surprisingly capable of anti-fighter point-defense and able to fight capital/subcapital ships.
WEAKNESSES
  • Frail in comparison to most other star destroyers, relying heavily on speed, maneuvering, and wolf-pack tactics to survive as opposed to armor or shields. This makes it unsuitable for line battles or slugging it out with well-armed, well-armored ships, unless the weight of numbers is on their side.

  • It has an issue with suffering from critical damage to the connecting strut to its engine unit, meaning shots directed there can easily tear it apart if concentrated firepower is used upon it.

  • Despite the droid brain's improved heuristic processors, it still isn't the most advanced, and still be outsmarted.
DESCRIPTION
Designed as a major successor to the Recusant-class, the Recusant-II is an effective ship of the same size dimensions as the original Recusant, able to be utilized for piracy actions, commerce raiding, and of course, logistical disruption vessels. It's very much a ship that is terrifying to its foes surely - lightweight in armor and shielding, yet enough to engage in mercantile raiding with brutal punishment towards its foes. Entire Loth-Wolf Packs of Recusant-IIs could serve as brutal foes potentially...

Nicely made. I have a question, what is the Hyperwave Jammer? I'd like to ask you to link this.
I'd like to ask you to add these fields to the template. These are part of the original template, but not part of the premade fields, yet they are important.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1000m [Base: 1 | Very Low: 3 | Low: 4 | Average: 5 | High: 7 | Very High: 9 | Extreme: 11]
1500m [Base: 2 | Very Low: 4 | Low: 6 | Average: 8 | High: 10 | Very High: 12 | Extreme: 15]
2000m [Base: 2 | Very Low: 5 | Low: 8 | Average: 11 | High: 14 | Very High: 17 | Extreme: 20]
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons
  • Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
