Special Features: The pistol is sized and fitted to the hand of the user then is affixed to a rig (that is also fitted to the crew member) that is strapped to the user's forearm. The pistol can be folded into the rig, hiding it from view. With the compression of a switch, the rig activates, extending the pistol into the hand. By pushing the gun back towards the user, lightly, the rig retracts.
Description: A pistol that is to be placed into the armoury of the Dragon's Thorn for general access of all crew members. The pistol is sized and fitted to the hand of the user then is affixed to a rig (that is also fitted to the crew member) that is strapped to the user's forearm. The pistol can be folded into the rig, hiding it from view. With the compression of a switch, the rig activates, extending the pistol into the hand. By pushing the gun back towards the user, lightly, the rig retracts. If the pistol is pushed to hard during retraction the rig can break. The advantage of this weapon is that it can be hidden within the sleeves of the user, hiding it from view, and the thin rig can be wrapped in cloth to hide it during a pat down. The pistol, while packing a powerful punch, does not function well at long range and is to be used as a close ranged gun.
