Gazing Longingly at the Moon (Solo prequel to character's journey story arcs)

A long time ago...
A prophecy was foretold, one that would bring our people back from the brink. It bring us out of this darkness we currently find ourselves in.
It centers around the legend of our last queen and her one and only heir-to-come generations and millennia later...
We had liberated our once proud kingdom from the oppression of the outsiders and assisted in reestablishing their former prisoners onto a self-sustaining path for their new lives. Our queen, the one who led us through the dark times, had insisted on it. Our help was so beneficial to the populace, that they began to praise us, and more particularly, her. They had modeled their new standing after our own and everything seemed to be returning to livable norm...
Until she fell deathly ill. She did not have a successor. All of her birthed daughters had only eight tails or less and could not properly ascend the throne. None of the surviving clan leaders could step in either. It was a disaster.
It did not take long for her pass silently in her sleep, and along with her passing, so did we, into the annals and legends of those people we had helped.
We split into two groups to keep our complete numbers unknown and settled at opposite ends of the planet in silence...for the next three millennium to come, we would barely survive.
To be continued...

Aboard The Cyaron
Drifting somewhere through the Core Worlds

Tsubasa was sound asleep in the adjacent room. Her rhythmic and deep breathing hinting at such. Three of her nine companions were on the bridge of the corvette, going about their business. Another was in the communications suite, probably contacting her somehow still living Sith Intelligence contacts. Ki paid no mind to the details. Her senses drifted to two sets of two on the ship. One of them was calmly sitting on the mess deck, probably enjoying some well deserved time off. While the other pair was partaking in actions of the completely opposite nature. Enjoying their time together in a very different way...

There was just one more she had not sensed and it disturbed the woman that her target sat in the very same room before her.

A heavy sigh escaped as her eyes opened to see her opponent smirking triumphantly,"Still no luck hm?"

Shaking her head in frustration preceded her answer,"No. I could find no trace of you. It's like you don't exist Yoshiko." Ki stood alongside her companion and moved to leave her private quarters.

The dark haired woman followed delightedly, hands clasped behind her as a hint of mischief glimmered in her light garnet eyes,"Do not think of it to much. It takes a master of the Force to find even a hint of the great Yohane!"

The whole Fallen Angel shtick again. It was complete with her signature pose and deepened voice. Ki giggled as the duo stepped onto the mess deck. They were only passing through on their way to the bridge.

They did catch the eyes of the two already there and discovered them to be the Kurosawa sisters, casually enjoying some drinks and time together.

That eliminates either of them from the other room...

Their walk after the mess deck was short-lived as the former assassin left to see her counterpart in the comm suite. It just happened to be RIko.

Two more down.

Upon reaching the bridge, she discovered the trio there currently hard at work.

The ever studious Hanamaru was diligently perusing law enforcement reports from multiple planets. You was enjoying some music while ensuring they were alone. Chika currently had a cup of caf in hand, sipping from the container, as she herself looked over some military-looking documents. Each failed to realize Ki's entrance onto the bridge, a fact she decided to take advantage of.

First, her feet carried her silently behind Hanamaru, grinning at the fact the other's eyes remained forward, the fox pounced. The surprise caused an excited yelp to come from her prey.

Once she had calmed down, she turned to look at the visibly excited Kimiko,"Goodness Ki, you are way to good at that zura."

Despite her current playful mood, Ki remained quiet, signalling for the other woman to do the same with a finger to her lips.

She began to move on to her next target.
