• Description: A Dathomiri Raven spliced with a smoke demon, Gaspar appears as a typical black-feathered corvid. When phased into smoke form, he appears as a cloud of dark vapor that mimics shadow, enabling Gaspar to slither through the smallest crack and phase through solid objects.

Strengths:

• Living Shadow - Spliced with smoke demon essence, Gaspar can phase into a cloud of inky fog, slipping through tight spaces and passing through objects.

Weaknesses:

• Mutated Appetite - Gaspar's appetite can no longer be sated by seeds and berries. He can pick an average-sized corpse clean in a matter of minutes, bones and all. If he can't eat at least one corpse per week, he loses his ability to phase into smoke.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Eurydice first found Gaspar among the slave pits of Anoat; the bird, weak and injured, had likely hitched a ride on the last transport shuttle to the heinous citadel of Darth Nefaron .

Perhaps on search of something softer in this hellscape, Eurydice sought to secretly nurse Gaspar back to health. Darth Nefaron knew. Instead of killing the bird - or ordering Eurydice to do so herself - he instructed her to use the corvid as a canvas for her lessons in Sith alchemy.

Eurydice attempted to splice Gaspar with essence of smoke demon, intending to grant him the terrible power to siphon a victim's very life force. This would, she thought, save her from having to do such an awful thing herself.

However, Eurydice's budding talent in alchemy was just that: budding. Gaspar did not inherit the ability to vaporize souls, but he did become…vapor.

While an ordinary raven by all appearances, Gaspar can disperse himself a vaporous mass like a living shadow, enabling him to slip through cracks and phase through objects. Telepathically linked to his Maker, Eurydice sees what he sees.

A failure by some accounts, but a useful one.
