PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: -
  • Force Sensitivity: Force Dead, [Its a bunch of pixels and data]
  • Species: Corellian VI
  • Appearance: Garvey was a Corellian VI that based his appearance off of an Old Corellian business Tycoon. As he was a VI all of his pixels were a shade or hue of blue or purple, but he consisted of a handsome face, well kept hair and beard, and a nice jacket. On occasion he would build himself up to full human height where permitted on the ship such as at floor level VI terminals. He tended to forgo legs for ghostly wisp legs. Voice.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Garvey
  • Loyalties: Corellian Confederation; Dracken Pryce; CDF:2 Starchild
  • Wealth: None
  • Notable Possessions: None
  • Skills: Garvey is a Corellian VI for the battlecruiser CDF:2 Starchild and as such all of his skills revolve around ship management, ship logistics, war strategy, marksmanship, general ship knowledge and a mastery of all the systems on the Colony II-Class Battlecruiser.
  • Personality: Garvey is a an often quick witted and sassy bundle of pixels, even for Corellian VI standards. He tends to speak when not spoken to and often comments about gossip around the ship or in his immediate vicinity. Despite his spontaneous and generally positive outlook, he is very serious when it comes to protecting the lives of his crew. He sees himself as the Starchild's voice and as a part of the Confederation military and as such will take orders from any crew member in his database with varying levels of sass depending on his familiarity with them or the rank of the person.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: Concussion Missiles Launchers
  • Combat Function: Garvey can take control of the internal defenses of the Starchild as well as the external weapons when the crew is low on meat. As the Starchild II is fully staffed however he mostly handles algorithms and targeting assistance for the gunners and internal security.
Strengths:
  • Charming
  • Skeleton Crew: Allows for large vessels to function with a fraction of what it would normally take to crew.
  • AI: Contrary to a droid, the Corellian VI has a wider range of sentience and can think utilize critical thinking to solve problems on its own.
  • Tactical Adviser: Can provide tactical advice to troops on the ground or to the captain of the home vessel, has a wealth of knowledge on ground and naval warfare, and access to the Corellian Confederation's military database, allowing it to quickly determine the types of vehicles and starships on sensors based on a variety of factors. [Cannot determine semi-unique and unique vessels without first meeting them in battle or passed strategic data]
Weaknesses:
  • Talks Too Much and Might Be Too Sassy For You
  • Physical Core: If the home vessel or military base is invaded and the Core is damaged, it cannot transfer to a new platform and will die if destroyed.
  • Sliced: While the code and encryption for the Corellian VI is extremely tight, anything can be sliced if one has the correct codes, access phrases, or biometrics. Incredible slicers can even slice remotely.
  • Shackled: Its programming is located in a specific mainframe on board individual vessels. While it can utilize com frequencies to communicate information it gains on the ship it cannot itself leave the ship or travel through the holonet. To move either the core needs to be physically moved or the VI needs to be downloaded into a portable Core and re-downloaded, both of which were cumbersome operations.
  • Localized: Holographic display and interface of the Corellian VI can only be in one place at a time on board the ship meaning that if the interface mode is active it can only interact in that immediate area of the ship. [Ex. An engineer asks for the VI's help in the reactor room, its services cannot be accessed or utilized anywhere else on the ship until that task is done or its been dismissed]
  • EMP Weapons: While the VI Core is shielded from most EMPs and Ion weaponry, if the ship is not it will have to shut itself down to prevent damage to the Core itself.
  • Catastrophic EMP: While shielded, incredibly powerful EMP or Ion weapons [Extreme Dedicated Ion Weapons/powerful natrual phenomenon etc] can damage the core, causing the VI's mental state to deteriorate quickly.
  • Nebulae: Nebulae can interfere with the VI's connection to the holonet and the ship. Prolonged exposure to a Nebula can cause irreversible damage.
  • Lifespan: Corellian VI's had a lifespan of about 25 years.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Garvey was part of the full production line of Corellian VIs and was placed aboard the CDF:2 Starchild after it was modified to house the VI Core. Before then Garvey spent most of his time in total darkness, his only comfort the Tycoon Dramas and Comedy shows of the Corellian Holonet. When he wasn't crunching new equations, studying historical naval battle tactics, learning about the Galaxy's vessels, and other steps to becoming a fully functional Corellian VI, he was learning about himself and putting together an image for himself.

When he finally "woke" he was aboard a ship he knew but didn't know. It was move in day and though he freaked out the crew at first he would become an indispensable part of the ship and its crew.
