Galaxy Starways is positioning itself to be the premier inter-system and intra-system transportation company, starting with the Deep Core. Galaxy Starways operates on the tried and true method of a ticketed sales for use of the service. Round trip tickets and a variety of other bundle passes do exist. A combination of droid attendants and biological employees tend to the various classes of customers from the average commuter with utilitarian needs to the wealthy patron with luxury services rendered. A multitude of conventional rail-based trains in the upper-middle layers of Coruscant form the backbone of the fledgling company. Galaxy Starways has a reputation for satisfactory customer service, passenger security, and its alignment with the Galactic Alliance.
RATIONALE
Galaxy Starways was created when several smaller carriers and struggling manufacturing companies combined their operations. This chance arose from the economic crash suffered by Coruscant after the attack on the capitol as well as the economic boom by made possible by Chancellor

in the recovery. A board was then assembled and through shrewd debt payments and investments, the company was ridded of its stifling interest payments and now free to do business. The grand opening of Galaxy Starways space program was marked by the flight of a dozen refurbished Star Commuter 2000 starships, displaying the company's livery, to the capitols of Empress Theta, Byss, and Tython. These landmark voyages were meant to indicate the ability of Galaxy Starways to take to the stars. In so doing the company secured foreign investment though the company has incorporated it has yet to go public. Galaxy Starways has been hard at work designing and prototyping a hover train that is capable of both terrestrial operation via repulsorlift technology and spacefaring operation via sublight ion engines as well as hyperdrive integration.
