Burning, biting, digging deeper with every servomotor-assisted thrust of Lirka’s arm. The fat sizzled. A lung collapsed. Blood filled the wound and steamed around the blade.
But her grip, her form, her angle was limited - that gave the Hutt an idea. A flaw in his own armor that could prove useful.
Whottoomuzz moved the locked elbow
Even in his ruin, even with pain screaming across every nerve, he shifted. He **wrapped his massive forearm under her blade-carrying limb – under the elbow, hand pressing her bicep away from him, struggling against raw strength to keep the blade from penetrating as much as possible.
The vibroblade in his opposite hand had only punctured her already-ruined hand several times, resulting in defensive stab wounds no worse than her own sacrificial blast along the hands and forearm - it would be a long standoff to beat his way through her limb-flesh. Time better spent with a moment to catch his breath, with one of his multiple pairs of lungs collapsing.
The offensive arm reached for his belt – quickly, time was of the essence. No hesitation. No theatrics.
Just a simple click.
The EMP grenade detonated directly from his belt. The blast was instant.
A sphere of electrostatic pulse expanded outward in a flash of blue-white, and Shyran Dol locked in place.
The servos froze. Joints jammed. Repulsors died. The Hutt’s massive armor, now inert, **Froze entirely,
A grotesque statue with a living Hutt inside statue** too immense to shift without external power. His blood boiled beneath phrik plate. Inside the helm, his HUD went dark.
But he had done it.
The blade arm was caught within his own.
If Lirka’s armor had similar faults, it too would seize. If the plasma threads of her blade were similar, the keen songsteel alone was her ally
If not—it wouldn’t matter. The sword arm itself was bound with his.
They were frozen now.
Two monsters. Impaled into each other. A living sculpture of war. His ruined jaw drooled blood down the broken T-visor, the No words came. Just air. Just gurgling breathing, the drip-drio of hutt-blood into the chest plate of the once-Sephi underneath him, and a horrible toothless smile as dark green slime trickled down both of them to mingle with the toxic black blood. It was a moment to breath, to relax the muscles, to think.
However this dance ended, it would be vicious, sudden, and brutal. That had been guaranteed. But until that finale, armor lockup brought a moments respite and an audience waiting on the edge of their seats for the instant the servos could move again.
- Defensive Actions: Gripped and locked Lirka’s sword arm before Ion detonation. Prevented further blade advancement. Potentially interrupted plasma threads of songsteel blade.
- Offensive Actions: Ion grenade deployed. Final act: immobilize both fighters in armor lockdown.
- Mobility / Positioning: Frozen in upright position with tail atop Lirka. Shyran Dol locked in place from EMP overload. Still upright due to weight and mass. Lirka's exploded and stabbed arm is still free, if her armor has EMP protection.
- Gear Use: Ion grenade (used). Knuckleplate Vibroblade retracted. but not delivered. Servos disabled. Personal shield still overloaded.
- Damage Taken: Electro-plasma blade cut into torso. One redundant lung destroyed. Significant internal trauma. Armor-locked but conscious.
- Status: Immobilized. Locked. Bleeding. Smiling.
