    • The internal frame supports a complete replacement of the copilots seat and most of the internal cargo storage for a small living space complete with a single fold down bunk and chemical toilet for extended patrol missions and or long flights.
    • The Rear gunners Warthog turret can either be manually controlled by a gunner or automatically controlled by an on board targeting computer.

    Strengths
    • Known Quantity - The GAARC-170-II and its Clone wars era predecessor are a known reliable, rugged and combat effective chassis.
    • Heavy Fire power - While re-optimized for the role of a typical heavy star fighter, it still retains the multiple heavy laser and blaster cannons of the Tornado II, and there for packs an outsized punch for a smaller fighter craft.
    • Living space - The copilot's seat has been removed, and it's cabin refitted to fit a comfortable, if cramped, living space to allow the pilot/gunner to enjoy a modicum of comfort on long range patrols or flights.
    • Role-rework - While still a heavy craft, the Flying Tiger has had its twin powerful engines and repulsor lift system completely reworked for maneuverability and agility in the void, and still maintain a good percentage of it's high speed capabilities.

    Weaknesses
    • Heavy Weight - Even with a role change, the air frame is heavy and can be sluggish if not properly managed, leading to a loss of reaction and agility. This is not a light snub fighter.
    • One of a kind - While this craft is based on a common chassis, the hand tooling, tweaking, and refitting going in to it make's it an effective one of a kind, which leads to an expensive and time consuming maintenance effort.
    • Not so subtle - This is a heavy fighter through and through, not some sleek stealth fighter, you will be noticed and potentially focused down if caught out of support from allies.

DescriptionThis personal refit of the otherwise common GAARC-170 saw the chassis returned to it's roots as a heavy aerospace and void star fighter meant to duke it out with foes in the vacuum of space, while still retaining some of it's heavy support options for strikes on warships and ground targets.

(Gotta give me some time to work out each item as it goes, will mark it as finished.)
(First personal Factory Submission)
(Editors Note, I'll primarily be using This submission as a basis for layout and idea given the Flying Tiger is meant to be this but tweaked and rebalanced for Fighter support over Ground attack.)

I have been told this likely should go in to Pre-factory. If a mod would be so kind I'd owe them a beer.
