ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:
  • Stealth for the Big Boi: Sometimes, The CIS wants to be able to drop a weapon down onto the surface of a planet without anyone seeing that its been dropped off. Why? Because it can be rather difficult to send a being the size of skyscrapers onto a planet, or to land a Corvette on the ground just so this behemoth of a being can be taken to different worlds. As such, Stealth was built in mind for this drop pod. Namely so it can be dropped off a fair distance from the battle, and give enough time for Garza to exit the drop pod, and then make his way into battle.
  • SPEED IS KEY!: When dropping down something from space onto a planet, you want to be able to do so without giving the chance for others to see. With that in mind, the less time its in the air, the less time someone will be able to find it. Thus, the drop pod was built for speed above all else.
  • Durable Enough: While built for speed, using various stronger textiles including a sensor coating variant of Duraplast will allow the ship to take considerable damage before being compromised. This is a last resort to having no stealth or being discovered during a drop.
Weaknesses:
  • One Time Use - Kinda: A drop pod like this is expensive to make, even more so, with who it is for. While the drop pod can be retrieved afterwards, the drop pod itself has no doors or openings in which to allow Garza to exit. This is specifically done so that it requires no locks, or special doors to allow Garza to exit the craft. It will also prevent Garza from getting stuck inside because it can't open a door correctly. Typically this means Garza himself will have to break out of the vessel with his own bare hands and strength. Which, shouldn't be too difficult for a creature of his size.
  • Delivery of One: The drop pod really is only built for Garza. While a couple humans could fit inside as well, typically there is nothing else with the creature. It was made for him, and him alone. Even if you could fit most starfighers into it.
  • Prep Time: In order for Garza to use one of these vessels, He has to enter the main body, and wait for literal hours as workers weld the remaining pieces together to hold the structure. Requiring the massive beast to stay within the drop pod for hours on end without much to keep him busy. This isn't something you can just hop in and go.
  • A Ship to Carry a Ship: Due to the sheer size of this drop pod, it requires a ship to either carry it much like a tug boat with Tractor beams through space/Hyperspace, or it will require a massive vessel to house the drop pod to be released upon a planet. Severely limiting where Garza can be left at.
Description:
This is what happens when you have likely one of the biggest creatures ever seen, needing to be transported to different planets for the one singular purpose of letting Garza go somewhere else.

This massive drop pod was built by the CIS in small quantities to allow Garza to be taken to different planets. How could this be done? A drop pod. Any creature like this will never be able to actually fly a vessel. Therefore, having a simple pod which can be dropped down from space to land upon a desired planet is all that is required. However, that is easier said than done with a creature nearly 600 feet in height. The first question to be answered, was how to create the pod itself. A fully enclosed capsule that had no doors, windows, or anything else that could potentially be damaged during a drop. How this can be accomplished came up next.

By creating the main frame, and housing structure to hold these massive panels together, it would then be filled with water. A fluid state in which Garza could reside in with enough space. Water was added as a form of Kinetic gel that one would use in armor, to reduce the impact of touchdown. It would also aid Garza in being comfortable on the trip down. Not being required to be balled up or otherwise in a very tight pill. The next question, was how to keep Garza in. The last few pieces of the drop pod would be pieced together a couple hours before the actual dropping of the pod. Sealing Garza in for what could be hours at a time.

However, once the drop pod had touched down, it was all fair game. Garza would then be required to physically break out of the housing of the vessel. After the vessel makes touch down, the kinetic impact will set off a mechanism which will heat up systems within the sidewalls. Slowly melting the beads of welds, or otherwise heating up the metals to more easily be damaged by Garza. Allowing him to break out of it with his sheer force.

After doing so, and after the battle, the Pod can be retrieved into safe hands. However, should it not be safe, when core components of the vessel are taken apart, it will activate a self destruct sequence to prevent the technology from getting into the hands of potential enemies.
