Future Faction Threads

With the Dominion of Aaris-III pushing toward completion, I thought we could all decide where to go next and get some new faction threads going. Some of the ideas being tossed around were for another dominion, but a tier two dominion of:

• Aing-Tii / Pitann
• Ceres / Shiva

Another idea, and it is something I believe I can help arrange with the First Order, is a Skirmish. I've been working on setting up the story from our Kal'Shebbol Dominion, which ties into their Yalara & Effekt Dominion. I'll have the rest of the story work up from Aaris-III later today, but the Skirmish would take place somewhere near the Terminus System, or in that area, it's not a solid place yet as I have yet to get this over to the First Order's Administrative team, but I can do that today.

I was also looking to do something of a Raid, I believe [member="Kira Vaal"] brought it up in an earlier thread, so if there's a planet nearby or something that we're in need or whatever - let's get that rolling. Nothing bonds a faction better like a good ol' fashion raid.

Also, where are we on developmental faction threads? I'll be looking around later today, but if someone has those threads on hand that'd be perfect. Lastly, another faction thread like the Shindig, are we cool for another one of those? I have an idea or two cooking but we want to hear from you guys!

Sekalus is within Dominion range of our faction, and is one of the planets on the board that has Phrik deposits on it. That may be something we want to consider for a future Tier 1 (there's nothing else in the hex at the moment), as it would bring us those additional resources and make dev threads for members working with Phrik easier.

It also gives us good potential for skirmishes and raids, not to mention the Croa storyline from the Black Rose control of the planet.

About the only downside to it is that we'd have to decide whether or not we'd be ousting [member="Sanya Val Swift"], who claims PC control of the planet... and who is also responsible for the genocidal deaths of the populace and the creation of the Croa virus...

Also, I'm working up a draft sub for a duel purpose Jedi Temple and hidden Rebel Base on Binaros. Once the sub is up, let me know if that's something we're interested in and I can throw up another faction like I did with the Exocron expedition.

One thing I'd like to do is stage a raid vs. a large NPC ship and turn it into dev so we can sub big scary ships for our NPC enemies. I feel it would really give us something concrete to point at re: 'why the Underground is hanging out in the Outback.'

I really, really like this idea. I do love some shipboard action. Especially if it involves shipjacking.

I also wouldn't mind, at some point, setting up a few cache points in and around the systems we control. Give us a few bolt holes that we could hold up in when things don't go our way. Loop back into our ragtag rebellion roots.

It's very well established that we have a ton of those in the Kathol space proper, but very few have been fleshed out or Codex subbed. Setting those up for our new territory would be a great element to any thread. Capital.

Also, though this will obviously be just a sideline, I'll be weaving in a story element that I've intended to do for about a year: Jorus losing the Force permanently, and having to adapt.
