Just a heads up, I've talked to Cryax about this some, but I am going to run the most annoying Dominion ever in the nearish future.
I'll not do it yet, not because of the map reset, but because I'd like to see people get into Colaps campaign, and some of the other wicked member run threads currently going on, but oh yes, it's coming.
What do I mean by annoying you ask?
Arbitrary approval rating. You need to make the planet want us as their new bosses. Everything folks do will positively or negatively affect the approval rating. If you play stupidly, there could be 1000 posts and you still can't have the planet.
But OMERGERD you say, I don't want to play nice! Well, you don't technically have to. But if you go the shooting/blowing things up route you better either take out the witnesses, pin it on someone else, or realistically have the firepower to terrify everyone into approving of you. In theory one super strong force user could dominate every city on a planet, but since one person can't be everywhere at once, as soon as they move on to the next the one they left is going to go into revolt, ie, they can take but they can't hold.
How will you know when you win? Well when it's an overwhelming win I'll tell you, otherwise you'd need to do a public opinion poll. Guess what happens to public confidence in you if you initiate a poll and the results are bad?
Oh yes. I am going to be the biggest of jerks. Not only that, but I will be GMing in every sense of the word. If folks are outright stupid on top of damaging the approval rating, you might also get auto tossed into prison or frozen in carbonite or something. Don't care how powerful you are, that's how I roll. Of course, fellow Ravens could save you.. Or they could distance themselves from you and pin everything on you in a massive smear campaign.
In short, I intend to amuse myself
