Full of Actual Fire

Inhaling deeply, Joza focused more heavily on the air around her, manipulating it so that there was a thin whirlwind around her. Its primary purpose wasn’t to serve as an immediate defense, but to give her ease of access to already moving currents of wind. From there she would hopefully be able to grasp onto the currents and strengthen them as needed.

Strangely enough, [member="Saki"] stopped lobbing fireballs at her and melted some of the snow around her. Continuing to circle slowly, Joza’s gaze narrowed in suspicion as she tried to anticipate what the Kro’Var would do next. When she sent a frozen ball of earth her way, Joza was ready as she whipped up a current to intercept the earthen sphere. Though she should have known, she was still a little surprised at the kinetic energy behind the frozen earth as she pushed it away. It wasn’t like fire, whose flames could easily be redirected by wind. “This sounds like the opposite of air shaping.” She commented, leaping to the side to avoid the next ball of earth, swift movements aided by the wind. “Is it tied more to stance or physical strength?”

"Yes, it is the opposite, air is fluid, it moves and it allows you to dodge. Earth has many shapes from solid stone to shifting sands and all of it is varied like the people in the galaxy or in the jedi order." She moved with it and stayed where she was but could get the earth to move and create small spike popping out of the ground. "With earth shaping you are solid, taking your power and strength from the stance you assume over moving. When you need to attack you use stronger smaller movements to generate larger amounts of power." She stood there for a moment to give an idea stomping on the ground and letting dirt and rock rise up into the air to kick out at Joza to get her to move.

“Hmm…” Joza never really gave the element of earth much thought beyond tossing rocks, but it seemed to have greater applications than she had initially thought. As [member="Saki"] stopped into the ground, a trail of earthen spikes lashed out towards the pink woman. Reacting as swiftly as she could, Joza performed a quick back tuck, extending a hand out and down to release a burst of wind. Sailing through the hair, she landed a few feet away, safe from the chunks of dirt and rock. Noticing that she had lost some ground, the Zeltron quickly moved back into circle walking, though at an angle to try and get a bit closer with cautious steps. “I feel like I’d adapt better to something like fire rather than earth…for now, anyways.”

SHe was looking at her and moving with it somewhat, letting the air come and push her back as Saki punched the ground less to attack and more to literally anchor herself with lines from her fingers carving into the rock as she spoke. "Fire is popular but it is not something easier to control. Easier to use yes, easier to hurt people with yes, easier for those who don't want to learn control yes but a true master of fire knows how to best control the flame." She moved letting the fire appear as twin jets from her boots launching into the air with air coming out in lashes a she hung in the air with impressive hang time letting the snow and ice move as whips to try and smack Joza around."

“So I’ve heard…difficult to control, huh. Maybe that can incentivize it.” Letting the wind buff against her side, Joza rolled along it as if she were a part of the current. The more she worked with wind, the easier it became—she moved naturally with a trained grace, so it was fit that airshaping helped to suit her movements. She successfully managed to outmaneuver the torrents of flame—maybe because she thought it would hurt more—however, one of the snow whips managed to smack her upside the head. “Hey!” She grumbled, nearly falling flat on her fine ass.

Unfortunately from there, Joza lost her groove and took an ice tendril to the stomach. The impact sent the Knight soaring through the air, hitting the snowy ground long before she could recover and do something to soften the blow. “Ughhh…” She groaned more out of annoyance than injury as she shuffled to her feet, though there would certainly be bruises there in the morning. All in a day’s work, right?

She saw Joza as she was on the ground and heard her. Stopping for a moment while she jerked her head to the sides as the sound of her joints and bones popping in place while she crouched down looking at Joza offering a hand. "An incentive maybe but balance and control is important, the fire can still burn a fire shaper if they are not careful and if left to go out of control it can destroy everything. Same as with water, same as the air when you are using it or the earth. Earthquakes, fires, floods, tornados these are all tools of destruction when unleashed without proper control. Something anyone can spend years learning how to do. Or it can be easier but you need to be very determined and focused over others to prove them wrong." She stood back up while pointing. "Come on, we'll get you some food and then I'll show you how to have some real fun with shaping."

Seeing as how [member="Saki"] did not intend to kick her while she was down, Joza took a few moments to steady herself. Holding her now bruised ribs, the Knight winced as she rolled on her knees so that she’d be in more of a sitting position. Taking the proffered help, she wrapped her hand around Saki’s and allowed herself to be pulled upwards, momentarily stumbling before steadying her feet. Her lips parted and she inhaled the chilly air as if she were on the verge of saying something, but the Master’s words filled the space between them and Joza remained silent. She’s right… Red brows creased in stern understanding of the lesson. If there was one this Joza didn’t want to do, it was hurt those around her. And while not a volatile brat who let her emotions sway her all the time, she felt them strongly and had to work consciously to keep them under control.

“Food sounds nice.” She offered Saki a pained smile, hands brushing over her injured torso. It wasn’t that bad of an injury, and the Zeltron had her youth. She would recover quickly and be able to work through the pain to a degree, as she had many times before.

Saki looked at her with a small grin on her face with a nod. She was hoping the girl fully understood or would take the lesson to heart leading the way across the area towards the base of the citadel. The large stone and metal structure opening when they approached with the droids showing the pathway modules they could use to construct it all. The crystal caves had access from the temple as the defenses were being set up before she went into one of the lifts. "The real question is what would you want to eat?" She said it looking her over while standing there with her hands all ready for anything just in case. Saki ran a hand along her head. "We got some very nice food stores here and the living modules had built in food creators." She was moving to guide the way towards the mess hall sitting down so Joza could relax. Saki went over to the crates that were being loaded as she grabbed some of the snack cakes for them with some jerky. "We got some of the new things from Saori."

Straightening herself out, Joza cleared her throat whole following [member="Saki"] through the lower area of the citadel. As eager as she was to learn, she could probably use a break to rest a bit and replenish her energy. “Oh, I’m not picky. I’m sure I’ll like whatever you have.” Looking down at her hands and arms, she noted how the skin had torn a bit from the impact of hitting the ground. There might even be a little bruising later, but that was all cosmetic. Being young, she’d heal up quickly and didn’t worry about such minor injuries aside from keeping them clean and not straining herself more than necessary.

At the sight of Sasori snack cakes, Joza’s eyes lit up. Those things were like spice, alcohol and sex all rolled into one for her. She’d actually already eaten a few on her way over to find Saki, diminishing her on-hand supply…not that she didn’t have more on her ship. It was a good thing she was active and had a naturally lightning fast Zeltron metabolism. “Oh, are those the Sasori snack cakes? I heard they were good.” She attempted to play down her excitement, gingerly unwrapping one and biting into it with a satisfied moan of delight. If you ever wanted to witness true happiness in its purest form, give the Zeltron a snack cake.

Saki beamed a little, finally someone else in the order who knew the joys of the snack cakes... the glorious snack cakes that could last for several decades on a shelf.... Yeah there was that and she didn't know what was in it that made it so powerful to be able to last but she had a couple of them for herself and Joza. "yes it is." She set them down when she sat down getting a small grin on her face while she worked over some of the things that were there. Bringing her attention over to a few of the things on Joza setting her hands out. "So how do you feel after all of that?" Saki said it showing where she had some bruises under her tattoos a little. The slight discoloration of her skin that could be seen in the light.

“Hmm…” Joza tilted her head up towards the ceiling, contemplating [member="Saki"] ’s question as she chewed and swallowed a bite of heaven before answering. “I feel pretty good, actually. Kind of like that high you get from a good workout." Switching to jerky for a bit, Joza figured it would be good to add some protein to help replenish her strength. “So, do you live here? Or just stay here to train?” Her eyes traveled to the bruising for a second, now more apparent with the indoor lighting, but she said nothing for right now, not wanting to pry into business that wasn't her own.

She looked at her with a look over some of the things. "Kind of, i stay at the temples where I can. In truth well I am a jedi who prefers going around from world to world and seeing what I can find to help people. I dislike being in one place like many choose to be on Voss all of the time or some of the other planets they had worked to protect. She could work on more of the things here and there while rubbing her hands together before getting a piece of jerky. "It makes practicing and training all of the force skills I use over just the shaping. I need to find places I can continue to work out and push my body towards the heights like we get from training." She dind't mention some of the other things like most of her friends had fallen to the darkside and the legacy she had was of friends betraying her.

Joza stretched her arms above her head, taking the time to flex her muscles and snap her joints properly as she listened to [member="Saki"].“That’s more my speed. I don’t really like staying in one place for too long. I think it’s good for Jedi to get as much exposure to different planets and environments as possible.” She smiled at the thought of it, recalling how she’d found herself in some interesting situations while training. No doubt that Saki had probably experienced challenging times as well. “I usually split my time between Voss and Essien, with a few random other places sprinkled in. I find myself on Nar Shadda a lot, and even took up residence on Coruscant for a short time. Not the best idea for a Jedi.” Chuckling softly, she recalled the time she’d spent on the One Sith’s capital planet as a dancer and nothing more.

“I’m spending more time on Lianna though. I run a little dance studio there, mostly for fun rather than profit. I used to be a waitress and a dancer before I started training as a Jedi.” She laughed again, this time with more genuine humor before biting into another snack cake.

Having a life and not being a jedi was a strange idea. "I used to be an initiate... it is strange thinking of something outside the jedi as a different life." She stood there with some of the twinkies and there were some other things of food they could have. She had one of the novelty potions for health and stamina tasting the mead and berries in it. A small look on her face as well as the water with her full attention. "Though a dance studio could be very nice, I know several jedi who were dancers or slave dancers that we have rescued. The rangers saved one of them from the hutts and she had been taking care of their equipment as an unofficial member of the squad." That there were only a couple of rangers didn't help but Saki shrugged sitting there and taking a bite. "However going to Coruscvant is a dangerous gambit knight Perl you shouldn't try it without a proper way to protect yourself."
