Strengths:

• Hunter-Killer: The Fulgur-class is meant to handle almost any sort of lighter, smaller ship while also providing fire support for larger ships taking on their peers. Its armaments and armor make it perfect for this role, along with considerably high speed.
• Secondary Command: The Fulgur-class has all the same electronic components as command ships like the Gloria and Constabularis, meaning that in any situation where either of those ships are incapacitated, the Fulgur can serve as a backup command ship.

Weaknesses:

• Limited Maneuverability: The Gloria's impressive engines are excellent for raw acceleration and speed, but the overall shape leaves much to be desired in terms of making tight turns.
• Light Armament: Even though technically the Fulgur-class is armed to the teeth, the armaments are primarily for lighter ships. It's a menace to starfighters and can hold the line against similarly-sized ships, but will require heavier ships to deal with larger and more heavily-armed craft.

Description: The Fulgur-class is the other major ship design to come from High Admiral Drakon's reforms. Recognizing piracy and light, fast craft as the primary weakness of the Cerulean fleet, the Fulgur is designed almost exclusively as a counter to that, making it the primary escort and workhorse of the Cerulean Fleet.
