STRENGTHS
  • Maneuverable in both space and atmospheric operations.
  • A new fighter design based on a proven model, its weapons and avionics are on par with most other major starfighter fleets.
  • Has a pilot survival pod, meaning the pilots of this craft have a better than even chance of getting shot down and surviving.
  • Flexible mission packages.
WEAKNESSES
  • Somewhat larger than many starfighters and interceptors.
  • It is never going to out-run a dedicated interceptor.
  • If a fighter needs to be used in an emergency by unqualified personnel the fighter won't respond due to the need for a qualified neural interface.
  • It is not the best at any single mission and shares few parts commonalities with anything but other CRAF craft, meaning that it won't be as competitive of a model on the market.
DESCRIPTION
A marginally better-than-average starfighter built to give CRAF fleets a flexible and economic multi-role starfighter capable of long-range patrol and reconnaissance. Its flight characteristics are good due to its long nose and wide wings plus a modern avionics package providing an excellent range of maneuverability for a fighter of its ancient design inspiration. However, these fighters possess a unique ability to fold their wings to increase storage aboard ships or to be able to hide these fighters in potentially close quarters in airfields where air attack is a possibility. This fighter's primary design focus is on multi-mission capability, crew survivability, and finally maneuverability. While no single Cross Guard is ever going to be a world beater the way the old X-Wings of the past were, in numbers, Cross Guard squadrons can ruin the day of even the largest warships or stations. And they are especially formidable in atmospheric operations where their large conventional wing surface area provides excellent lift and low stall speeds, in combination with its avionics can make this fighter turn circles around less-conventional designs. However, the ultimate weakness of this fighter is its capabilities alone will always leave something to be desired, these fighters must in groups, because in the end they are a jack of all trades and master of none.

BIG Z1776 BIG Z1776 - Sorry for the delay, but the only thing that seems out of sorts is the link in the image source - as it leads to a blank image. As I mentioned in another submission of yours - it seems to be a recent, if not new thing, that's cropped up with any Fandom's wiki. However, as you've already linked the Wookiee article - we can leave it as is - or you can replace the hyperlink with a "See Below" if you wanted.
