Intent: To illustrate how the Kashyyyk citizens would react to a large portion of their forest/planet being burned in 40 ABY, and how a similar strategy nearly 800 years later is extremely unrealistic.

Description:
Jacen Solo, while the child of Rebel Alliance heroes with one of the best Jedi Educations money could buy(At the time), did not live his later years as a dashing hero but rather a villian at the centerfold of a second Galactic Civil War. During his time as Chief of State he fought off a rebellion fueled by Wookiee's and Jedi, and in a daring move fired the Long-Range Turbolasers of the Anakin Solo at the planet. A large portion of the planet went ablaze, wildfires raging across the wookiee homeworld. Wildfires that still needed taming after the battle and negotiations, with legendary figures like Han Solo, Leia Organa-Solo, and Lando Calrissian staying behind to help stop the spread.
Enraged by the their homeworld being devestated by such flames the wookiees vowed never to let such a tragedy happen again.
Contracts were made and defenses commissioned, with one of them being the Fire Suppression Droid 40, named so that the wookiees would never forget the year they were attacked by the Anakin Solo. Based on the old Fire Suppression Droid used as far back as at least 3951 BBY in mining operations such as the destroyed Peragus II the FSD-40 contains two 'armaments', a carbonite gun and an ascension gun. The former is used for tackling smaller fires by instantly cooling them, while the second is used as a zipline and/or swing to allow easy travel between Wroshyr trees. The FSD-40 also contains environmental shielding, allowing it to brave through high(or low) temperature environments without any reduction in performance.
The 'legs' of the droid each have little grips that allow them to climb trees, allowing them to conduct their business at any point on a wroshyr tree. However their grips do not have sufficient traction to climb up metallic surfaces such as durasteel. In addition due to their small size, just a bit larger than a mouse droid, it can take them a while to get there. if they cannot access a location using their ascension gun. The FSD is not programmed for combat, and, unless heavily modified, will not even engage hostiles, merely continuing on with it's job of putting out fires. While not a droid commonly found in the galaxy if a traveler were to find himself on Kashyyyk or another world covered in forests they'd find the FSD-40 to be just as present as a mouse droid on any other spaceport.
Not as intelligent as say, a Hegemonic Automation Droid, the FSD-40 takes over a decade without memory wipes to achieve sentience. Cases where the FSD-40 achieves sentience have been noted in the past however, with the majority of them becoming extremely hostile towards any sight of fire, even firing it's Carbonite Gun at loose sparks or up at lightning. It will also continually play a message on it's vocabulator, which if translated from Binary states "Only I can prevent wildfires.".
