From Shadows | Tiali

[Ashalah Ky]

The target was simple. Assassinate the drug lord Maxwell Turgo with any means necessary without getting caught. A simple task, and a part of Ashalah wondered why [member="Sempra the Hutt"] didn't have faith in her abilities, even assigning her to meet a contact to help. It was offensive to her abilities, but Ashalah couldn't leave and do the mission herself. That would be directly disobeying the Hutt and that was the last thing she wanted.

So here she was, waiting at the designated meet point; outside a canteen a few blocks from the drug lord's headquarters. She stood, leaning against a wall next to an alley. Her arms were crossed over her chest and the hood of her cloak was pulled up over her head. Her blue eyes darted from person to person, checking everyone in the vicinity for who she would be meeting, even though she had no idea what they looked like. All she had been given was a name; [member="Tiali Orazio"].

Tiali was wearing his custom made Urban camo suit Mk-I his visor covering his face vibroblades on the top side of his forearms and awrist mounted sonic pistol on his right under forearm. The tikulini leather covering most of his body with durasteel helmet, shoulder pads and chest guard. His belt had an assortment of grenades and a JT-12 jetpack attached to his back. to the lower parts he wore magno-grip boots, with two LL-30 pistols either side of his thighs.

His hood covers over his head, his facial appearance covered by the visor. Arms crossed he would approach Ash Leaning against the wall next to her. "Good evening" his voice calm and muffled from the helmet but clearly understandable. "I'm not late am I? Well either way, Formed a plan yet?"

Ash nodded, not moving in her stance against the wall. "Our target is Maxwell Turgo. His office is on the third floor of his drug headquarters, which is operating under the cover of being an ore warehouse." It was a good ruse, the purple hue of the drugs blended in well with the shine of the mineral. "There are guards from the gate to the door, as well as around the grounds."

After giving him a brief explanation of the layout, she moved onto the plan. "The hanger for mining ships is on the west side. We'll be coming through the gate on the north. Don't take out the guards unless you have to." There was a natural pause in her speech. "Once we're in, there's a back staircase. That'll lead us up to the third floor. There should be a ventilation shaft leading to his office. I'll slip in and get the job done."

There, that seemed to take care of everything. Well almost everything. "We go out the way we came. Easy." Without waiting for his response, she would turn and move towards the warehouse. She walked with a brisk pace, but not fast enough to attract attention.

"What? We can't kill the guards, Dam! That's no fun." He chuckles to himself, he continues to listen to the plan and nods agreeing with the plan "Good plan! let's make it go well."

Tiali would turn towards the warehouse following to the side of Ash.

She remained silent at his complaints, not sure if she should answer him or not. Deciding she did not want to contend with his little jokes, she kept moving. Soon, they arrived at the north gate, finding two guards at the front. "Take out the one on the right," she lowered her voice so the guards wouldn't hear. "Don't use a blaster." The sound of one would attract all the other guards in the area. Hopefully Tiali was smart enough to know the reason.

Slipping away from him, Ash walked down the road on the left, passing the guard completely. Then she went to the wall, flattening herself to it and going back to the guard, silently pressed against the wall. She was glad they had the cover of night for this operation. When the assassin got behind the guard, she already had her vibroblade out, shoving it into his back. The guard fell, his fall helped by Ash shoving on his back to retrieve her blade.

Then she looked over towards her contact to see how he was doing.

Remaining silent he kept moving calmly keeping himself unnoticed, turning to the guard "Excuse me sir I need directions can y...." The guard looks back to him grunting "Kark off yo..." kinda Mid sentence Tiali quickly raises his arm his blade slides out, he slices to the side at the neck of the guard his head tumbles onto the ground. Blood splurts from the stub of his neck, Tiali quickly grabs the still standing body laying it down against the wall.

He stay's quiet but lets out a small chuckle. Looking back at Ash "I love my job."

She can't help but give a small grin even though the smile is mostly concealed in the shadow of her hood. "Having fun there?" Giving a light chuckle, she turned to the sealed gate. Pointing her right hand at the top of the gate, she pressed a button on the side of her gauntlet. A thin cable shot out, flying through the air before attaching itself to the top of the gate. With the grappling hook in place, she began her climb. She moved as fast as she could while being silent. Once over the gate, she dropped to ground on the other side, pressing the button to retract the line as she did so. She immediately began moving through the shadows, making her way along to the west hanger. Any guards that she couldn't sneak around were disposed of.

When she reached the hanger, she was slightly surprised to see it open, a few cargo ships inside. The lights were on and the factory workers hurriedly unloaded the 'ore'. As she waited for Tiali, she wondered how they would get in with the lights on and people everywhere. Once her partner reached her, if he did, she would look over at him. "Any ideas?" She would question, gesturing with her head towards the busy hanger.

Tiali follows Ash down the thin cable Dropping to the ground tumbling on the landing. Tiali takes cover beside her in the shadows.

When they reach the hanger, Her question gets him thinking "I have two ideas a quick one or a long one, Make your choice and I'll make it happen?" he kept his voice was quiet, but it still had a serious tone to it.

He waited for her response.

Ashalah glanced over her shoulder at her partner. "Our mission is to get in, take out the target, get out. As fast as possible." She couldn't help but remind him of the contract deal. Why would he even need to ask if she wanted the long choice? He should've automatically sensed their hurried state and went with the quick. "I don't want to be here until dawn."

"I was just being polite" He takes a couple of steps ahead of her "Just stay here for abit you'll know when to move. Call my com if you need help" his hand slides down to his belt gripping a thermal detonator, His other hand slides down to grab his blaster.

He makes his way to the hanger entrance activating the thermal detonator throwing it towards the Hangers power control console hoping to make the lights and electrical gear malfunction within the hanger.

3. 2. 1. Boom! The explosopn goes off The lights flicker off some guards Confused some turn to Tiali straight away. Tiali begins to fire his one pistol at the guards Killing a couple as he moves away from the door the opposite side of Ash. A multitude of guards follow him firing their blasters in his direction.

The distraction gave Ash the time and space needed to get passed the small amount of workers and guards left in the hanger.

With most of the guards chasing [member="Tiali Orazio"], Ash made her move. Pulling out her own blaster, she charged in, shooting every guard that pointed a gun her way. The workers were no threat, as they just started running. Once the opposition was taken care of, Ash moved into the hallway connecting the hanger to the rest of the building. Pressing herself up against a wall, she waited for her partner. After no sign of him, she lifted her right wrist to her mouth. "Hey, you still alive?" She asked via com. "I'm through the hanger. Are you coming back?" With that, she hunkered down into the shadows and waited for a response.

Tiali's hand slides down to his belt grabbing his single spore grenade activating it. As he hits the corner he hits the wall as it sprays into the air.

The group begins to approach him, he flicks out his right arm his blade slides out from his fore arm armor. As the guard group comes around the corner, the one leading the group comes around, He meets Tialis blade into his neck. Slicing to the side, He raises his elbow striking the head with it. "opps you dropped something." the others stood there shocked for a moment as they raise there weapons to fire at Tiali.

The guards slowly begin to fall over Rather unconscious or having possible death spasms. Tiali activated his 5 mins of clean air, while the spores took effect.

Opening his com "Yeah I'm fine. Go ahead of me I'll catch up." He lunges forward igniting his jet pack.

"Copy that," was the last thing she said into the com before turning and sprinting farther into the warehouse. After a few bends and turns, she eventually found the back staircase and followed it up. Once up, she immediately slipped into the first air vent she saw, glad of her small size and stature. She slithered through the vents, checking each grate for the drug lord below. After a while of silently crawling, she found him, hunched over his desk for some late-night work. Slipping a small vial from her belt, she tossed it into the room below. It immediately emitted a cloud of smoke that was impossible to see through, but would clear up in a few minutes. That was all the time Ash needed.

Pushing the grate open, she dropped into the room, her vibroblade out. The drug lord wasn't hard to find with all his complaining and bumbling about. How did this guy even survive in the crime business if this was how he acted in an attack. Not Ash's problem. She quickly found him, slashing through his throat and an unpleasant sound met her ears; someone who would scream, but the blood pooling from their trachea prevented that. "Tiali," she spoke into the com as she dragged the corpse behind the desk. "I'm done over here. Where are you?"

Tiali Lands in the hanger making his way to Ash's position up the stairs the near the drug lords Office. He Activates his com to her an says "I'm close I'll be just a moment." closing the com he picks up the pace into a light jog.

Once reaching her position he takes a moment for a breath, raising his bloodied hand he leans it against the door frame "So what happened to only taking out guards if we have to?" He laughs at the end of the question.

She shrugged as she walked out of the room. The smoke was dissipating, and her hood had fallen in the fight, revealing her identity to Tiali for the first time. She shrugged, absentmindedly running her hand down on of her front lekku. "Things change," she said with a shrug as she flipped her lekku like some humans and near-humans do with their hair. Then she moved down the hall, twirling her blade around in her fingers. "Let's report back to Sempra. Do you have a ride out?"

Tiali Continues to stand in the room, even after her comment. He notices in the corner the drug lords small collection of drinks. "Yeah I have a ship, But let's have a celebration first." He begins to make his way to the cabinet opening it up, upon inspection he finds a variation of drink pulling out an old bottle of whiskey. He places it on the drug lords table. "Com on." he says loud enough for her to hear outside the room "before more people come."

He takes his Helmet off and places it on the table.

Ash freezes as Tiali starts pulling out drinks. "What...are you doing?" Did people really do this after contracts? "We need to leave." She took a worried glance back to the door, biting her lower lip nervously. She honestly had no idea what to do. The guards could run in at any minute, they could get caught. Sempra would not be happy with them. He might even feed them to his...pets.

Then she looked back at him and her heart stopped. He had taken his helmet off and...holy crap. She found herself walking towards him. "Okay...one drink. But we have to leave soon." She glanced back at the door, her hand drifting towards her blaster. Surely someone would've found the bodies of the guards by now and put the place on high alert. Surely the workers who had fled went to the police. They really had to go.

Tiali Luaghs "Finally, yes one just one drink." He searches through the draws for any glasses, until he returns to the cabnet grabbing two. Activating his Com "[member="King"] or R9 one of you, come get us. we'll be on the roof in a minute" He pours two drinks as he talks and closes the com. "Come on you need to anjoy some part of the mission," He smiles at the end of the sentence, handing the cup to ash.

A slight smile appeared on Ashalah's face, the tension of her profession fading away, leaving her more relaxed, cheerful side shining right through. "I do enjoy the missions though." She mock whined, taking a glass from him. She giggled and downed her drink in one gulp. Lowering the now-empty glass, her smile widened. "You should'a seen me taken out the target. Now that was enjoying the mission." Setting down her glass, She turned to go, walking towards the door. Then she stopped and looked back at him. "Maybe we can work again some time. You're really good." With an almost flirtatious smile, she turned and kept walking, heading to the stairs leading up to the roof. She somewhat regretted the fact that she didn't set any charges as she went through the building at the beginning. Ending this with an explosion would be really fun.

She glanced back at the room she left Tiali in. "Hey are you coming or are you just gonna stand there like a guy frozen in carbonite?" As she was waiting for him, another guard charged her from the adjacent hallway. She took a step sideways, waiting until the guard was just in her hallway, and in Tiali's line of sight. He drew a blaster, but Ash didn't give him time to shoot. Her foot popped up, her leg rising to an almost impossible angle, as was the natural flexibility of her race. Her heel nailed the guy right in the throat. He fell to the ground and Ash turned to Tiali fully, giving him a lighthearted laugh. "Well, you coming or not?"

Tiali Swallows the drink with a couple of gulps, Letting a refreshed breath he Smiles to Ash "But there are parts of the mission that are more enjoyable." he raises the bottle amusing she'll get the message.

"I bet you taking out the target was glorious" He laughs and smiles facing Ash. Going down onto one knee He places an explosive charge from his belt under the drug lords table, set for remote detonation. "Thanks, your really good to." he says while fiddling with the explosive.

Standing up from the Table he stands to watch Ash kick some guys Ass "That was awesome." Letting out a chuckle he moves to the Exit with her "Sorry just setting up the fireworks."
