For some of these decorations, like Dominion, Invasion, Event, and Skirmish tags, as well as the Valorous Conduct Medal, you automatically have them if you were there.​

For others, such as the Medal of the Confederation and the Medal of the Helix, as well as other upcoming commendations, only Faction Administrators can bestow them. Fringe frowns on self-nomination. If you've seen a fellow Fringer do something that might be worthy of these commendations, PM a Faction Administrator.​

Medal of the Confederation​

​

This dull, unprepossessing decoration is forged from the aggregate metal of the Fringe's greatest victories, including the crowns of Kings, Emperors and Shreeftuts, as well as lightsabres taken at O'reen. Pieces of starship hulls have been added to the aggregate -- Fringe ships lost with honor, or notable enemy flagships destroyed. The Medal of the Confederation is awarded for meritorious service to the ideals, people, and warriors of the Fringe under threat of imminent death while facing overwhelming odds. ​

Medal of the Helix​

​

The Medal of the Helix is awarded for confounding the enemy through strategic or ideological victory, significant casualties, or destruction of significant military assets, while under personal risk. The Medal of the Helix is inlaid with the head of a structural screw from recovered debris of enemy capital ships.​

Valorous Conduct Medal​

​

For meritorious and valorous service in one of the Confederation's major battlefronts: Atrisia, Eriadu, Kayri, O'reen, the Ssi-Ruuvi campaign, and the campaign against the Sorcerers of Rhand. The medal can be won up to four times.​

[Arage Bao]

Alright, I just went through a few nominations and the following people have earned the right to wear the Helix Medal:

• [member="Alen Na'Varro"]: for a close-range solo smackdown with a Star Destroyer in a stealth fighter. (Fartheewel Obscurity)
• [member="Sargon Vynea"]: for converting a Jedi to pacifism during the Battle of O'reen, then contuining on to seal the Treaty of Talos with a few other key Fringe Personel and cementing the perspective that the Jedi Order and the Republic at large had a big identity crisis.
• [member="Spencer Jacobs"]: for dealing a severe blow to CIS' fleet during the Battle of Atrisia and then spearheading efforts in saving part of the planet during the invasion itself.
• [member="Hannibal Oryen"]: for swindling twenty-five million credits from out of Alachei Mnemenos's nose and doing it in a beautiful manner.
• [member="Gilamar Skirata"]: Posthumous award for shutting down Kasamann's zombified bull rancor... with a drop pod. A great man, and a greater troll died during Teta.
