Hello all, I'm new to these forums but I've had my share of SW RP. I did have a question about the setting though that I'm not quite sure about.

When a Jedi (or other lightside Force user for that matter) is mainly made to be a Alliance soldier type character, do they typically have a GA rank, a Jedi Order rank, or both?

Such a character would usually have a GADF rank. There are a few characters like that in the Alliance, so it won't be much of a problem.

So that's just an Alliance rank then? Are Jedi sometimes just trained by the GA, or do they lose their Jedi rank when joining the Alliance military?

I might actually, once I get Saul's character thread finished tonight. He's not much of a pilot actually, but someone has to be there when you land, he'll likely be hanging out on the bridge until then.
