SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
+ Sight: the basic purpose is to replace eyesight, however the ability to see in infrared, low/no light illumination, ultraviolet, and alternating light filtration has been added
+ Unplugged: using ancient tech from the interface band, the eyes now have the ability to wirelessly connect to any open or authorized networks and control various systems remotely
+ Software: using the lengthy and tedious process from growing and connecting neuron jacks for the cybernetic eyes allow for new and unique pathways of information consolidation as well as a mind firewall
~ Pathways: due to the unique and ingenious use of alternative ways to encode, store, and retrieve memories, the subject has near perfect recall
~ Firewall: utilizing the idea of the neural band, again ancient tech, the ability afforded by the alternate pathways protect against telepathic attacks of both species with the latent ability and force users as it disrupts the normal affected pathways in lieu of the neuron jacks
+ HUD: the M.I.P. allows for the classification of enemies/friendlies from capital ships to starfighters to armored vehicles to individual to even local flora/fauna through a color coded overlay. Also able to locate and identify threats from the added bulge of a concealed weapon, a particular stride that implies military/martial training from weight distribution, or even a baseline template that can be run based on body behavior/facial tics/the flush of adrenaline which raises temperature that can be picked up by variations in the infrared spectrum

Weaknesses:
- Sight: because of the wide array of visual filters ordinary visuals may be missed. Where the beauty of a sunset would be longer be appreciated. Continued, active, use of the various visual spectrums can lead to headaches. Rapid filtering will lead to migraines
- WiFi: each eye is able to connect to various networks, yet optimally should only connect to one at a time. Trying to connect to multiple simultaneously will cause a seizure
- Susceptible: EMP/Force Lightning variants/stun bolts will affect the cybernetics of the eyes leaving only whichever visual filter being used at the time as the only, of the many, option available until system rebbot (1-2 posts)
- Input: too much visual input can be overwhelming leading to a "tunnel vision" fail safe. Near perfect recall will be available for later revisiting though immediate awarenesses may miss seemingly important details
- Software: because of the unique pathways of the neuron jacks, being reached by telepathic means by allies may be blocked as part of the design

DESCRIPTION

After the Invasion of Eshan by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, where Quoron Cadera was blinded through combat duties, a set of replacement eyes were ordered. Taking the order was Kal Kandossii of Beskar'ad Inc.

Instead of going for a base line set of eyes he took the framework of the Hi Sense Enhanced Eyes and built them up with various useful upgrades, including a reinvigoration of ancient tech that still had value.

The most difficult aspect was finding a way to foster near perfect recall. So meeting with a leading psychologist and neurologist he began work.

Adding more memory to the eyes it is able to record a twenty four hour segment of visual and audio input.

The first step was encoding. Using a bit rate that is higher then the eye can perceive yet the vast power of the brain can notice the systems overlay a blinking after image of preceding events x10 which leads to effortful processing, a memorizing tactic for visual encoding. Additionally patterns of individuals, vessels, and weaponry is also encoded using semantic coding, friendly, foe, or personal. Finally during sleep cycle the recordings of the previous day is relived once more, this time using the audio recording which aids with the acoustic encoding.

Using these methods enhances the length of short term memory which is especially useful during combat, keeping every detail fresh. The impact on long term memory is astounding. Using the methods mentioned it strengthens and creates a near perfect recall.

The final step is retrieval. Recall is multiplied exponentially. Recognition can invoke memory of personal information, weapon load out preference, affiliation, common confederates, and even useless information like how they prefer their nerf steak cooked.

Additionally the ability to connect with various networks and using that information or controlling said networks remotely offer a vast plethora of options.

With the neural band the fear of mental manipulation or force abilities that affect the mind are nearly zero.
