Faction Freebird

Arial wasn’t sure how this plan was going to go but here she was on her vessel “Enigma” A freighter with a lot of years on it and enough hidden compartments to arm an army. Well if they were full of guns. Instead today she was about to deliver her ‘bounty’ She still wasn’t sure how this plan was going to work but hopefully at the end of today they were all still free, the target included. This was less fun than her idea. Arial still wanted to set off a bomb in another part of the city and then attack the prision and crack open their target’s cell block and make a blazing get away. But the reality was they were outgunned. So instead they had to go the quiet route.

“So lets go through this plan one more time, I want to make sure this goes right as we only have one try. “

Arekk's run with the authorities had come to a swift end after years of escaping their grasp, a deep investigation into his less than legitimate activities had brought down Ethos City's finest squad of detectives to come knocking on his door one night. There was nothing he could have done to stop this since he knew it was going to hit him sooner or later.

The bounty that amounted to over a million credits had reached the uncharted planet where he resided, the city that money could buy, but these guys were loyal to the bone to a force that lacked the respect it deserved. The fallen Jedi turned slicer was brought into the local precinct, put into an interrogation room and asked to spill everything.

If there was one thing the man knew was that if he spoke even a single bit the entire city would come down against him and everybody he knew so Arekk did what only he knew: Bluff his way out of it.

But as if the odds were suddenly balanced on his favor once more, a Togruta spacer had made her way to Ethos City to get him out by agreeing to take the bounty off the police's hands and pay them half of what they could get. Of course, they didn't agree at first but after some "diplomatic" chatter they let Arekk go with her.

Little did they know.

"As we talked before, you're going to take me into the prison and leave me there. I'll find whoever you're looking for, get them out and you open our way once we're ready."

"Sounds about right. Should I open your way out anywhere in particular? " She still was pondering on if she could take the reputation hit of not paying half the bounty to those Ethos City scumbags." I am impressed though, takes skill to earn a bounty as big as yours and last this long. " She observed him and sighed at the coming formalities. The joy of a bounty went away quick when you realized how much paperwork was involved. This was a plan to get some skin in the game of the DarkWire. She used to be a higher up in the Black Suns and now she had goals.

This was step one, do the impossible. She kept flying her vessal towards the prison. " This is Enigma, bringing in bounty 2471. " She followed instructions setting the approach on slow and sighing as the patrol craft flanked either side. Making sure the radio was off. "If this works, we should work together more often." It was time to gamble like she hadn't for a long time. "Better put the cuff's on we are nearing the landing pad." She began the final approach, flipping switches and pressing buttons as she guided the ship down onto the landing pad. The whole ship shook as started the landing.

When it finally settled, she would look at him shake her head. "Well shall we?"

"There's an exit on the western side that's plain durasteel. Make a nice fireworks show and get us through there, yeah?"

Arekk had brought a few gadgets that he hid in several places that most people wouldn't suspect or bother to search thoroughly such as his belt buckle or even on a strand of hair. Years of experience had given the slicer the upper edge both in battle and outsmarting his enemies though he never underestimated any foes.

The fallen Jedi was cybernetically enhanced with various modifications that gave him the advantage of takingcontrol of any terminal, powered device, gadget, etcetera. In case his gadgets were discovered then he could rely on his body modifications to continue doing his work.

"That works for me, as long as you don't leave me here." he joked while putting the handcuffs on his wrists. "Let's make this simple. Once I make contact count the exact twenty minutes I told you about, we'll be on the exit when the clock hits zero."

And with that out of the way, Arekk was prepared to infiltrate the prison and to play the role of a captured bounty. It wouldn't be the first time he had been in cuffs and under the custody of the police: this would have to be a walk in the park.

Arial shrugged and just shook her head. She had to make sure not to get on the wrong side of this man. To skilled for his own good. Opening the door she was greeted by two thugs. They call them guards, but they were just thugs working on the 'good' side. She smiled and forced Arekk Arekk forward, playing the role of bounty hunter, she used actual force to move him forward. "Get moving, Mama needs her paycheck. " She had to be convincing. Once they got to the hatch. There was a door for her and a door for Arekk, Her door was a lot more friendly. She shoved Arekk into his side, figuring at least that way it wasn't the blockheads doing it. She shook her head in mock disgust and then walked off to fill out paperwork. The sad truth was they didn't just hand you a credit chip like they did in the holovids. Nope she had to go through the joy of bureaucracy .

"You love playin' rough, huh? I like that."

Arekk had to keep up appearances much like Airal did as they played the bounty hunter and the prisoner charade, their act was more than convincing to get their foot in the door and getthe fallen Jedi turned slicer inside the prison to extract whoever they were after. It wasn't going to be an easy task and it'd definitely take some hours but he could do the trick: Countless of times he had been in prison for mostly drinking-related charges.

While the Togruta had to deal with the intricacies of beaurocracy and boring paperwork, Arekk began an overall analysis of the prison's inner works and its many different "guests" that made this place so popular. Different species stayed with each other away from the rest, all of them following some crappy prison code that would keep things in check for a while until they decided to kill each other.

Fifteen minutes took Arekk to be shoved inside his cell, the door left half open for him to do whatever he wanted as he "spent time" behind bars. A quick overall glimpse of the area told him that he was in the right place, all that was left was finding the person of interest.

"I'm in."

Arial sighed as she began to sign various contracts and other forms. She hadn't bountied here before so she also had to register. It was amazing how complicated the Corporates made something like this. Then she asked for the latest copy of their bounties, which turned out to be its own slew of forms. Request form 2456a and its supporting forms had to be filed for the information to be given so she went ahead and filled out it. She was going to make note to hire an assistant next time she had to do something like this. This needed to hurry up at this rate she was never going to get in position in time.

It wasn't like she had never claimed a bounty before, just usually she was more the smuggling type. This was new territory for her but for a good cause. Had to free their target after all. Couldn't let the Corporate types keep one of their own in a cell. Who knew what they might do to them. Arial sighed when another group of forms were given to her. Apparently there was more.
