Not much can be said about the Eighth Guard's personality, due to the conditioning he received as part of the Praetorian Guard's protocols. While before he was a loyal member of the First Order and a firm believer in the Supreme Leader's rule, he had been moulded into one of the most devout zealots of Sieger Ren's will, more than willing to sacrifice his own life in the defence of his master.

As a side-effect of his conditioning, he adopts an entirely different personality when he is clad in his armour. While clothed he is cunning, brilliant, and independent, but while armoured he is obedient, loyal, and powerful.

He is not one to talk, at all, unless when absolutely necessary, due to the fact that all Praetorians prefer to deliver their message through uncomfortably long glares or through the exquisite use of their weaponry. Despite the oddly humble nature of the Praetorians, Eight has become surprisingly arrogant in his combat skills, and for good reason, as there are few within the Empire that can claim to have killed many Jedi, Sith, Prisoners of war, and even officers of the First Order he was a part of.

The Overlord's faith has been shattered after all these years, with the betrayal of his master and those he had considered colleagues, he was left behind questioning his purpose and if he truly served the Supreme Leader well during his tour of duty. At any rate, he has defected from the First Order to search for his love, and by extension, freedom from the oppressive grasp of the Supreme Leader.

Underneath all of the plates of crimson laminate is a thirty-year-old man with tanned skin, slanted shoulders, a long torso, and equally long arms. Standing at a height of 172 centimetres, and weighing approximately 87 kilograms, the Eighth Guard is a prime example of the physical requirements it takes to be part of the Supreme Leader's Praetorian Guard. He has well-defined abdominal muscles with various scars stretching from his stomach to just below his neck, some old and some appearing relatively new.

When unmasked, the man has short black hair that is fine and naturally styled. Below that is a medium stubble with a somewhat bushy moustache, both types of hair blending in perfectly with his deep brown eyes. His jaw is squared with a rounded chin, both of these being covered up partially with the aforementioned stubble. Just beside his lip is a unique tattoo that when mentioned (if anybody ever sees his face) causes the man to become slightly agitated.

All of this is usually obscured by the standard equipment of the Praetorian Guard; as he wears full-body crimson armour, characteristic of the Guard, with multiple segmented plates along his arms, above which he dons a cloak of the same colour to denote his former station as an Overlord. His mask is one of several variants assigned to fully-fledged Praetorians, usually denoting which type of weapon they specialize in, with his being reminiscent of a master of the Bilari electro-chain whip.
