SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS
  • Overwhelming Firepower – capable of destroying fortified targets and heavy armor
  • Layered Defense Stack – reactive armor + APS + ECM makes it extremely difficult to kill
  • Advanced Sensor Suite – near-omniscient battlefield awareness
  • Electronic Warfare Dominance – disrupts enemy targeting, shields, and coordination
  • Modular Construction – easy to repair or replace components with salvage

WEAKNESSES
  • Very Slow – struggles to reposition or retreat
  • Low Maneuverability – vulnerable to flanking or fast strike craft
  • Massive Profile – impossible to conceal, easy target for heavy weapons
  • Maintenance Intensive – patchwork systems require constant upkeep
  • Crew Overload Risk – heavy reliance on integrated systems can overwhelm operators

DESCRIPTION
The “Frankentrawler” is less a formally engineered war machine and more a brutal testament to battlefield necessity and ingenuity. Designed by Hunchun T’vok Hunchun T’vok using salvaged Imperial walker components, TIE systems, and her FAE discount, the vehicle embodies the philosophy of “more is more”—layering weapons, armor, and systems until it becomes a rolling fortress.

Visually, the tank reflects its origins: asymmetrical plating, exposed reinforcement struts, and mismatched armor panels bolted together into a cohesive but intimidating whole. The oversized AT-AT-derived main cannon dominates the chassis, supported by secondary walker-grade weaponry and missile systems adapted from TIE platforms. The addition of a TIE sensor pod and advanced FAE systems transforms the vehicle into more than just a brawler—it becomes a command-capable electronic warfare node.

In combat, the Frankentrawler excels at frontal assaults, siege warfare, and defensive holds. Its layered defenses—combining reactive armor, active protection, and electronic countermeasures—allow it to absorb punishment that would cripple conventional vehicles. Meanwhile, its sensor and targeting systems enable it to track and engage threats with ruthless efficiency.

However, this power comes at a cost. The tank is slow, cumbersome, and highly visible. It relies on support elements to protect its flanks and prevent it from being outmaneuvered. Additionally, its patchwork construction demands constant maintenance, and its advanced systems can strain even experienced crews.

Ultimately, the Frankentrawler is not a precision instrument—it is a siege engine. When deployed correctly, it does not outmaneuver the enemy; it simply endures, advances, and crushes them beneath overwhelming force.
