It was an absolutely beautiful view one had from the top of Tor Valum, the capital of the Enclave. Kragr had asked his foundling, Zhara Krayt Zhara Krayt to meet him at his location. The training area had an absolutely breathtaking view of the outside icy landscape. The giant Mandalorian had his arms crossed and leaned with his shoulder up against a solid pillar by a large floor-to-ceiling window.

Zhara was still young but had the heart and soul of a Mandalorian. However, she had still much to learn and as such, Kragr decided to do a refresh course and see if he couldn't punch some new knowledge into the eager girl's head.

The room itself was large and decorative in its appearance, with all kinds of murals to look at. A few plants here and there in the corners, but mostly it had a large open ground to move around in, which was the reason Kragr rented the room. He must admit, it was strange having more than one foundling now, given how Shai Maji Shai Maji was the very first kid he took in back in the day... that time felt so far away now, a different time now, that's for sure. The Mandalorian Union had just managed to form, facing head-on everything in its path and Kragr and Shai was right there in the middle of it all, both fighting and losing it.

Once Zhara found the place, Kragr turned around and spread his arms out and swooped up Zhara in a warm bear hug. "Ad'ika! How I've missed you little one!" Cheered Kragr, shaking Zhara a bit back and forth in his bear-hug. Kragr tended to call Zhara for Ad'ika since it meant kid, daughter, child or other like-minded words for children, biological or adopted.

After setting Zhara down again, despite the girl not being a little kid anymore, he still rustled the raven black hair with his palm, messing up the straight long hair.

It had been many years since she passed her Verd’goten, but the learning and training never really stopped. Zhara still had plenty to learn, and today was one such opportunity. It has been a while since she had seen her buir, and Kragr had finally called her up for a meeting today. A training session it seemed, and she was quick to oblige. The meeting location was a room she knew well at the top of Tor Valum, a place with an incredible view of the sweeping icy vista outside. It didn’t take Zhara very long at all to arrive at her destination, and as soon as she entered she found the giant of a man gazing at the icy landscape outside. Noticing her presence, he turned around and swooped her in a big bear hug that lifted her off the ground, legs swinging in the air as he shook her a little back and forth, just like old times. She may very well be older, taller and an adult now, but some things never really changed. The big bear hugs were something that she enjoyed very much when she was younger, her small little legs shaking in the air as she was lifted in the air for those hugs as the familiar voice voiced out the word Adi’ka.

Zhara voiced her response. “I’ve missed you too buir! How are things?” Then came the shuffling of her hair, messing it up as her hands quickly moved to arrange it back neatly in order. This was yet another action that did not change after all these years, and honestly, if she had any say in the matter, she wouldn’t want it to anyway.

It was just one of the many actions of her father that she secretly loved, but never expressed outwardly, always somewhat putting on a slight pouty face as her neat hair was ruffled. She didn't really wanted people to think it was okay to do. This was something she only allowed her buir to do, and no one else.

A warm but low rumbling laugh could be heard spreading when he saw the pouty face she put on. The same old girl he remembered and waiting for the girl to fix the slightly messy hair he caused.

Nodding for her to follow him, he walked in direction of the centre of the whole room. "Been worse, been better. But overall can't complain" spoke Kragr with a wide smirk and stopped up once they both were in the centre of the room. Mentioning with a hand toward to decorated floor as a gesture for her to sit down in front of him, by which he saw down as well.

Once they were situated in front of each other, Kragr leaned forward a bit. "Recap. Tell me about the Resol'nare and its six tenants" Began Kragr, resting a hand on a bent knee each. Kragr used to do this with his little foundling and sitting over for her again, all grown up, brought back memories of simpler times when Kragr could just focus on teaching and training Zhara.

Waiting for Zhara to recap or show that she remembers the Resol'nare and as an extension its six tenants that every proud Mandalorian should know and understand. It made Kragr think back to the time he more or less raised Shai Maji Shai Maji to become a Mandalorian, that girl had too much energy and not enough time to burn it.

However, the Shistavanen's teeming energy proved useful the one time he brought Shai in to aid in a training session for Zhara. On the positive side, Shai and Zhara got to meet each other for the first time and as both being foundlings of Kragr, could consider each other sisters. On the slightly positive side, Shai was such a bad big sister influence on Zhara, which, in hindsight, Kragr probably should have expected and had only himself to blame.

As Kragr motioned for Zhara to follow him, she did until they found themselves in the middle of the room. She sat down when the order was given to do so, such an action she was used to now, her mind trained by the very same gesture she had grown used to over the years as she grew up with the giant of a father. She gazed at him, waiting for him to speak once more, and when he did, he asked her about the Resol’nare, a creed that was memorised by every Mandalorian born or adopted. The Six Actions were the tenets every Mandalorian strived to live their life by, and Zhara was no different. To not do so, would be to be without her Mandalorian soul, a part of who she is as a person. Without her Mandalorian soul, she is nothing. Without any hesitation, Zhara began to recite the Resol’nare in Mando’a fluently before speaking once more, stating the Six Actions in Galactic Basic.

Ba'jur, beskar'gam,
Ara'nov, aliit,
Mando'a bal Mand'alor-
An vencuyan mhi.

Education, armour,
Self-defence, clan,
Our language, our leader-

All help us survive.

Zhara didn’t know what her buir’s plan in asking her about the Resol’nare was. Did he really think that she would not remember it, or did he have some other plans in mind? These were not something that she could possibly forget, for as long as she knew, she had grown up as a Mandalorian, and the Six Actions were etched in her mind as much as her own soul.

Kragr didn't say anything and just listened to his foundling daughter recite the Resol'nare in fluent Mando'a and then repeat it in Galactic Basic. Not that the giant doubted Zhara for a moment about forgetting, but it was a good thing to repeat it every now and then. Nodding satisfied by his foundling's expertly recitation.

<"Let's begin"> spoke Kragr in Mando'a and got up again, standing at his full height, towering over his foundling, like a mountain looking down on a tree. <"first, some ground rules. No weapons. I'm not about to blow this place up"> stated Kragr and unequipped his belt carrying not only his devastating Warhammer, but blasters and grenades. Walking over to a bench not far from where they stood and placed his belt in a bag he had carried with him.

He did however loosen his helmet from the belt and returned to their position. Once they both were back in the centre, he continued. <"Good. Remember our training sessions and what I taught you. If you're facing a bigger opponent, never try to overpower them. They are both stronger and there's a high chance, incredible fast as well. Your best hope is to attack them in ways or from places they least expect it"> explained Kragr and began to walk backwards.

<"Time to use that head of your daughter. Get me down on the floor, you'll manage that and you win. I will attempt to stop you any way I see fit"> explained Kragr in mando'a as the last rule of this training exercise.

Standing a good 10 meters or so from Zhara, Kragr began to circle the girl, but as he had stated, he didn't attack, waiting purely on Zhara's initiative.

As soon as she had proven that she had the Resol’nare down to memory correctly, Kragr was quick to move on to the real training at hand. Unlike the simple recitation of the Six Actions, this was actual combat stuff that would actually make her think and work both her mind and body. It didn’t matter that there would be no weapons involved, the big difference between the sizes of their two bodies was already a challenge in itself. Trying to take down someone as big as her buir was no easy task, especially when one was nowhere as big as he was. Zhara made sure to keep his words in mind, about how someone of her size should never think to out-muscle someone far bigger and heavier. All she had to do was get the giant of a man down on the floor to win the training right?

What was the saying again? The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Her buir now stood a close 10 metres distance away from her, circling her as he waited for her to make her move. Her mind began working immediately, as she began to formulate a possible attack idea in her head. Quickly deciding on a possible attack solution, she loosened a long cloth sash that she had worn at her waist today. The material was thick enough that it would tear at the slightest impact, and such an object would hardly classify as a weapon. From a standstill, Zhara made her move. With the sash in her hand, as soon as the giant rotated around to face her front, she run and slided in front of him, placing the sash in a loop around the man’s massive lower thigh, and yanking as hard she could, utilising whatever gravity at work in the room to her advantage.

With such a big weight and size disadvantage, the surprise and sudden loss of balance should be enough to cause her father to fall and for victory to be hers.

She was fast, good and resourceful when having no real weapon at her disposal and as such, it didn't break their little make-shift combat exercise. However, if she thought something as simple as cloth would be enough to take down her buir, she was in for a surprise. Right as Zhara pulled against his thigh to force Kragr to tip in balance, he lifted himself a few feet into the air and stretched his leg horizontal, letting the cloth slide off his armoured thigh. Upon touching down with his feet, he quickly righted his position and stood at his full height again, looking down at his ad.

A wide grin spread behind the bushy fire-kissed beard, "nice try little one, but it's going to take more than some cloth to get me down" spoke the giant and with a glint in his eye, he launched himself at her from where he stood. With incredible fast speed, Zhara would find Kragr on her with a readied open palm, putting the girl on the defensive.

If Kragr's attack connected, Zhara would feel like getting hit by a truck in her chest by Kragr's open palm, which had enough force behind it to send the girl to the ground with a crushing blow to her back upon connection of impact. Even if his ad dodged the first strike, Kragr would immediately come at her with a ruthless kick from the side, aimed to knock Zhara off balance.
