Allana Badeaux
Ta’a Chume – Queen Mother
Formalities of elegance carefully hand scribed. Beautiful calligraphy it was colored lavender. Fine parchment of white it was drawn upon. Down on the bottom right hand side of the parchment; it was stylized, a picture of a chain of flowers intertwined together. The flowers resembled those commonly found during spring time on Hapes Prime. The letter was more than pleasing to the eyes. There was a soft fragrance. The letter was not heavily perfumed. It was a sweat scent that would easily remind someone of the season of spring.
Two messages written. Both delicately written by the young Grand Duchess. It was done with the care and diligence. Being raised as a young Hapen Noble within the Consortium, details were highly important. Where feelings were hardly expressed in public. It was in the details they expressed how important something was to them. A slight miss step when saying one’s title and name together was more than just rude to a Hapen. It was more than just a slight. It was disrespectful and scandalous. Such a great slight was not just a reflection upon them. It was upon the family as well.
When Allana crafted these two letters, she had done so to reflect of how she perceived the world. She had done so keeping the details carefully placed. She wished to reflect she had for those whom the letters were addressed to. She also wished to express how close her heart was to the matter of why she would formally address those within the letter. She could not use her true words. So the letter was drafted was very refined using polished etiquette. There were no miss cues of improperly saying of titles and names.
She had heard there was no current Mand’alore. The closest thing to a main group of representatives was the Council of Alors. The Council did not have an address though. They seemed a bit scattered. To whom was she to send it too? It had taken a while for Allana think of something suitable. The answer came in the form of some courtly intrigue Allana heard not too long ago. It had come from some talk surrounding the Senator of Alderaan who is also a Princess of Alderaan. The original topic had to do with where the people of Alderaan would live. There planet was destroyed from Vong shifter after all. Anyways Allana had overheard that the Princess’s aunt happened to be married to a Mandalorian from the Clan of Ordo.
She had wished she could send the letter directly to the whole of the Council of Alors. They did not however have an address for her to send it to them. There was an address from the Mandalorian Clan Ordo. Logically thinking the Ordo family might be sympathetic to the Galactic Republic? They were related to the Organa family were they? So she decided one letter to be sent to the House of Ordo.
Now the Dathmoiri was going to be easier. It was the past but Dathomiri and the Consortium had history. Even if it was not used there was a way for the two groups to commune and have an idea of each other’s customs.
So a letter was sent to Dathomiri and one to Mandalore. A formal invitation for dinner at the Fountain Palace. It was clear in the invitation to send a representative. Representative was the best word available. She was dealing with a formal invitation for three distinct cultures. That part may have not been as perfect as she would hope. It would due though.
Intent for the formal dinner was given. Allana delicately explained her concerned. The Sith and their hungry to destroy the peace and prosperity was horrifying. Being a concerned neighbor she had hoped to hear news from Mandalore and Dathomiri in their own words.
In the letter it was mentioned the Queen Mother may or may not be present at the dinner. The dinner is being held within her home. But the invitation to dinner is from her Ta’dine Allana Flore Badeaux.

The Night of the Dinner
Everything was set. The food, the drink, and the hospitality of the Fountain Palace. By custom the hostess was still up stairs. The servants would great the guests when they arrived. Gods Allana had hoped they would arrive. There was few things she could do to help in this war. This was one of them. If she knew more she could petition other nobles to take more notice. She might even be able to arrange food and medicine. That is if she knew where such things would be needed. She really was trying to do her part.[member="Arla Balor"] [member="Kytarra Hawk"] [member="Persephone Callas"]
