The Theed Palace hangar buzzed with activity as construction scaffolds reached toward the cavernous ceiling. Droids whirled about, their mechanical movements precise and purposeful, as they worked to modernize the space. Lira Virel, Chief Engineer and Master Shipwright, oversaw every detail of the expansion project. It was her vision, her legacy in the making.

The hangar, once a simple structure, was being transformed into a state-of-the-art facility capable of handling maintenance, rearmament, and battle operations with seamless efficiency. Systems were being calibrated to accommodate multiple squadrons, a testament to Lira's meticulous planning and the financial support she had secured from donors across the galaxy. She had persuaded individuals and companies to contribute credits, recognizing the importance of building a hangar that would surpass all expectations. Lira's gaze swept across the bustling scene, her brown eyes sharp and attentive. Everything had to go according to her design, with precision and perfection. As she watched over the ongoing construction, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and determination. She knew she would never achieve the legendary status of Lira Wessex, but that didn't dampen her ambition. She was determined to leave her mark on the world.

Amidst the organized chaos, Lira's YT-2400 freighter, the Luminary, sat in a secluded corner of the hangar. It served as her mobile office, a place where she could retreat from the relentless activity and find solace. Beside her ship stood an experimental starfighter, a second prototype she had painstakingly assembled in the bays of Nar Shaddaa. Countless trips back and forth from Naboo to Nar Shaddaa and the Core had brought her closer to her goal. This starfighter would become the pride of the Nubian fleet, a formidable craft that would defend the skies of Naboo with unwavering determination. But the prototype still required a pilot—a daring individual who would push the limits of the starfighter's capabilities. Among the many candidates Lira had interviewed and tested, one name had recently caught her attention: Briana Sal-Soren, an esteemed Jedi and ace pilot. The reputation of the Ee'everwest family, to which Briana belonged, preceded her. Lira sensed that she could be the missing piece to perfecting the starfighter.

With a mix of reluctance and optimism, Lira had made the decision to reach out to Briana. A private craft had been chartered to ensure her secure arrival on Naboo. Secrecy was paramount, for the element of surprise would weaken any potential adversaries. The hanger remained cool, the ray shield deactivated to allow the refreshing air from the nearby waterfalls to permeate the space. The distant sound of rushing water provided a momentary calm within the bustling environment. Lira's gaze shifted from the datapad in her hands, its screen filled with information and holovids about Briana, to scan the hanger in search of her test pilot. She had studied the materials provided, learning about the Sal-Soren family's connections to Naboo and their esteemed reputation among the nobility and Royal Houses. While cautious, Lira couldn't help but feel optimistic about the possibilities this collaboration held.

As her eyes roamed the expansive hangar, Lira eagerly awaited the arrival of Briana Sal-Soren, ready to embark on a journey that would test the limits of her experimental starfighter.
