Asha was not one to pry.
She wasn't a natural empath as Jyn had been, nor was she so controlling of her student that she demanded to know where they were and how they were doing at every waking hour. No, she continued to lead by example as they meditated, for Force knew how long, until she felt a reasonable enough time had passed that Caedyn might have at least some of his issues squared away. She wasn't about to tell him how to feel, that was up to him to decide, she just wanted to direct him toward a healthier state of mind.
Eventually she opened her eyes. Slowly but surely she brought herself out of her mind, and let out one long sigh which seemed to exhale all of her problems, all of her worries. She too needed to clear her mind, after all.
"When you're ready," she whispered, in case he wasn't yet ready, "Slowly release yourself from your meditative state. Bring yourself back to the present, one sense at a time, finishing with your sight." It was important not to rush the process if you could help it, oftentimes it led to disorientation. "I think it's time for tea."
Tea, and something to eat. Either way the time for serious discussions was at an end for now. Too much time had already been missed.
