Standing on the bridge of an Acavus-class bulk cruiser, Alicia Drey folded her arms across her chest. She wore a sleek, plain white blouse over plain clothes; and had her hair pulled up into a pony tail. She wanted to keep it casual with the Hutt Cartel. She supposed it was the type of informality that was associated with them.
The Acavus was carrying a fresh supply of foodstuffs for the Hutt Cartel, so that they could feed their slave work force. The contents that the cruiser was carrying would feed a small army, of say two to three hundred adults, but in this case, it's contents would be spread across a thousand. The Hutts didn't care if their slaves had a full stomach, so long as they could keep working.
To some, it would seem like dirty business, to provide the Hutt Cartel with food, so that they could then keep their slave force in check. But if spun correctly, Alicia Drey would be seen as an humanitarian/alienatarian.
Even slaves had to eat, and with the Hutt Cartel lacking in the type of land or world capable of providing their slaves, associates or workers with their own supply of foodstuffs. That meant that they had to contract from outside their space; and who better than Alicia Drey and her Chandrila Group?
Arriving in the Y'Toub system, the Acavus hailed the Hutt Cartel. Turning away from the observation deck, Alicia waited for her hails to be answered.
