Food for the Resistance (Smugglers/Bounty hunters/ Sith)

Jada Raxis

-Take me out, to the Black-
Beholden,

In the far reaches of space Concord Dawn suffer under the oppressive yolk of the Sith Empire. Food rations were in effect neutralizing the resistance that could be had from the Mandalorian people. A call went out, to smuggle cattle of all things to the surface.

The Sith patrols were dangerous, but would the courage of the smugglers win out? You decide!

This felt so wrong, yet so right.

Atiniir Starrider's heart was pounding as he crouched behind the gun turret of the smuggling vessel. It had been a tense journey, in more ways than one, as they'd flown through hyperspace towards Concord Dawn. Atiniir didn't like smugglers. During his time with the Shadow Runner pirate fleet, they'd often had to deal with smugglers in one way or another. Sometimes they traded with them, sometimes they attacked them, but no matter what the situation, the tensions were always high enough that full battle kit and loaded blasters were unspoken rules during every exchange. If the smugglers saw the pirates as uncouth and unwavering brutes, than the pirates saw the smugglers as slippery, honorless cowards.

Now Atiniir was rushing to the aid of his people aboard a smuggling vessel. The irony was not lost on him.

They had seen no Sith patrols yet, thankfully, but the captain of the ship had Atiniir and his comrades ready at the gun turrets anyway; no sense in leaving anything to chance. Atiniir would have preferred a straight fight to all this sneaking around, but they were carrying a full load of supplies for the Mandalorian freedom fighters on Concord Dawn, and they had to preserve it at all costs, even if that cost was praying to all the gods of the Mando'ade that they not be seen. He would complain about it later. For now he simply watched the blackness, scanning for any sign of surely inevitable trouble.

How the mighty had fallen, it was such and interesting sight to see the once proud Mandaloirans being back stabbed by their puppet masters and laid to waist. Something that was going to happen one way or another with how large the Sith Empire was becoming, after Sith had a tendency to look down on those without the froce as lesser beings or inferior and the Mandaloirans while strong fighters didn't fit that ideal view. Personally she didn't really care after all she wasn't human, but for humors sake if she was the warrior culture wasn't a force to turn ones nose at, not that it was her problem. Her main goal here wasn't to aid either side, it was a personal visit, something that would have been hard in the past with the bucket heads stick regulation against force users

While problematic it had served them well and made their people more interesting, increasing Elise's desire to visit one of the worlds and observe the people with the naked eye. Even if as of current they were firmly under the boot of the Sith Empire, but that just proved to be more beneficial. A stolen Sith ID, a slight favor from some contact and displaying some forces powers and knowledge was all it really took to get where she wanted, technically speaking she was a Sith, just not one affiliated with the Empire, nor known among them. She was just a young single lady called Elise who runs a simple museum on a backwater world and travels around to unearth new discoveries... nothing interesting to see here.
