• The Floralite Rose acts as a hub that connects two lovers from long distance. The one who forges the Floralite Seed imprints their emotions and force signature into the seed. It is then planted and grown into a Floralite Rose, projecting the forger’s very being.

• Till Death Do Us Part: When the forger inevitably passes the Floralite Rose shatters. Cracks may appear as well if the forger has been put through intense stress or life or death struggles.

DESCRIPTION
The Floralite Rose ritual was an important event within Varin’s culture. A skilled forger would spend days in front of a hot forge, hammering, moulding and pouring everything they had within a small condensed crystal seed. Every thought of their loved one, the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, blow for blow would shape the hot crystal into a small seed. Most who attempted would fail several attempts either shattering the seed or deforming it thus weakening the bond.

Once the Floralite Seed was forged it was then gifted to their lover, they then would have to bear the grueling process of raising the flower. Planting it into the ground and nurturing it with their very own emotions, their memories and their connections. If the seed had failed many times before, even fewer seeds are capable of passing this process. Thus what is born on success is a bond unbroken until death. A physical symbolism of a strong relationship to brave the many storms to come.

After the growth of the rose the coloration varies based on significant features of the one who grew the flower. If the forger focused on their lover's emerald green eyes then the rose would bloom with a vibrant emerald green.

The purpose of the Floralite Rose was to make sure that whoever stayed at home while the other partner was away, they would still feel their presence as a warm embrace and their comfort.
