First Time Hunting (Open)

A bonus of whatever she saw fit? Well that was certainly ideal. Lori played the game however, narrowing her eyes slightly as she stared hard at [member="Rundo"] , almost as though she was mulling over his offer of terms. "Three hundred credits per day, each. With a bonus that I see fit...It's a deal." She held out her hand to shake on it.

For a brief second her attention went to [member="Neiran Ark"] as he walked past. When something that tall moves, it's not so easy to hide. Hopefully [member="Curtis Learchin"] was keeping an eye out.

Lori waited until the deal was struck before she turned to [member="Arryn Vahn"] . "So how long have you two been on Nantoon?" Yes she was repeating herself. But he didn't answer her earlier. The Mandalorians caught her eye as well. Hopefully they weren't after the same target that she was. Maybe she was getting herself into a bigger mess than she had anticipated. Maybe.

Curfew was slated to be in effect soon. But at least they still had about an hour to go. Lori had to be sure that she kept an eye on the time as well.

Neiran spied on the massing group of people in the bar adjusting the zoom on his scope to get the optimal listening experience. A bar filled with that crowd makes it nearly impossible to hear anything clearly but there were ways around this. By tuning on the comm chatter inside the bar Neiran could pick up some useful information while still hearing everything he needed to.

There was a lot of chatter in the area mostly coming from the policing force but Neiran did manage to pick up something about credits and bonuses. They sounded enough like the group from before and it was the only lead Neiran had on them. But even then it made sense once you connect the dots, The team, the weapons, the armor, the bodyguard. That girl must be someone of great significance to need all this service.

Neiran checked his holo-projector and noticed the time. It would be potent of him to start heading towards his hotel room, otherwise an altercation with the police would be inevitable and we couldn't have that. Less he would want to become a bounty himself.

"Deal!" Rundo repeated with a smile on his elongated snout. He gripped her hand with his free hand to seal the deal with a handshake and then lifted his glass in cheers " Salud!" the rodian cheered and then took a long sip of the whiskey. There was always a high when concluding a deal successfully. Not as heart pumping as collecting on a bounty or bagging big game on a safari. But still a small high that gave that euphoric release which certainly improved the Rodian's mood of bitter defeat when his partner and he came up short on their latest bounty hunt.

The Captain turned to his mandalorian partner. She certainly was a inquisitive creature, not accepting the strong silent type for what he was. He could only assume that see was probing him not just out of curiosity but out of a natural survival instincts to get to know those that are gonna be close to you. Especially those that are now on her pay roll. Rundo respected that and refrained from interceding into her line of questions to help is silent friend. Instead, he took out his pack of cigs and ritualistically removed one to smoke.

But was not in his nature to keep quiet, he was a talker. a bullshitter and story teller and he himself had a very active and inquisitive mind. "What is de jop you just jhirrret us forrr?"

Lori took a large swig of her whiskey and boy did it burn! It wasn't as bad as some, but it had been a while since she had partaken in anything other than fizzy sodas. [member="Arryn Vahn"] still remained quiet. She couldn't tell if he was trying to figure out what to say, or maybe it was that he didn't want to answer.

Either way it was [member="Rundo"] that broke the silence. Lori refrained from looking to [member="Curtis Learchin"] before answering, instead keeping her focus on her newest employees. "We've been hired to look for someone. He's been missing for weeks and his last known whereabouts was here on Nantoon. So here we are." That was about as simple of an answer as she could give. She didn't want to get into full detail. Besides, they didn't even need to know.

She fished out a small holo device from her pocket and clicked it. An image of the man's face appeared, slowly spinning for them to get a look at it from all angles. "This is what he looks like. You're average middle-aged spacer. Eyes are blue, hair is brown. He goes by the name Max. Have you seen him around?"
