First Step

A cigar butt fell on the dirty ground of the lower levels of Coruscant and disappeared under a lether boot, being tossed there by a young woman that stood in a dark alley, leaned against a wall. The smoker lit up another cigar, flame of her lighter briefly illuminated her figure and clearly revealed she was dressed in a uniform that belonged to the CSF before the light vanished and most of the woman's figure disappeared in darkness again. As always, the agent made sure not to take the cigar containing lethal poison, as that one was reserved for very special occasions and she only hoped this would not be one of those, although one could say this meeting was very special as well. Not her first contact with a member of the Sith Order, but definitely the first time she had attempted to get inside the One Sith. After learning of the Sith who's been supplying the rebels with information, Kyla simply could not resist and took the opportunity of meeting with the mysterious woman to get in their ranks and deliver some intel to the Republic.

Coruscant was an excellent place for such a meeting. Being stationed on the planet and helping the resistance almost appeared to be too good to be true, as the Sith contact could roam the planet without raising much suspicion. Still, the two would meet on the lower level, just to ensure less spying eyes. Indeed, most sentients living on the lower levels tended to mind their own business due to the place being a paradise of all sorts of scum and criminals who never hesitated for long before pulling out a weapon. Law was no longer such a rarity as it used to be before the arrival of the Sith, but the increased patrols and lawkeeping mercenaries hardly made this part of the planet safe. Her customized 9mm slugthrower stirred nervously under her uniform...

Another cigar butt got crushed by her boot and as Kyla opened the pack to take another one, she frowned, seeing the last cigar was the one that would literally be the last one in her life if she took it. Mentally shrugging, the redhead put the pack back to her pocket, trying to keep her mind busy by thinking of the future assignments that awaited her. She had little doubt there would be many choices to test her ability to balance herself on the thin line of a double agent, but how much was she willing to sacrifice to help the Republic? Her life? Definitely. Lives of others? Yes. The Republic itself?

The idea of hurting the Republic at times to play a good role of a Sith agent was a nice one, but Kyla realized she had to be a good and convincing actress to make the Sith audience believe her. As much as she disliked it, she had done such things many times before, all for the Republic, so it would remain standing another day. The Jedi Order, on the other hand... she would not hesitate to throw any of its members overboard.

"Yo, hows it going." Alexandra just walked right up to her and then past her into the alley without another word, eyes not leaving from infront of her and in her wake was the small body of a emerald colored Ashlan wolf that stopped to look at Kyla and tilt its head at Alexandra, telling Kyla to walk ahead of him so he could keep an eye on her. Alexandra was not dressed like most knew her, wearing dark black robes over her purple training gear she only spoke that once until they got to the furthermost part of tha alley in which she turned around and smiled at Kyla. "How can i help you."

Kyla's vibrant blue eyes watched the newcomer, studying her for a minute. This had to be the contact, a female dressed in what appeared to be what many Sith sported for clothing. Her gaze shifted towards the green canine, something she definitely couldn't have expected to appear. A simple companion or something more? Knowing Sith, the animal most likely served some other, more sinister purpose than cuddles.

Nevertheless, Kyla followed the contact deeper into the alley, her hand casually reaching for the gun, but not unholstering it, in case the Sith tried something stupid. A brief glance around revealed the two stood alone, not counting the dog. Although, now that she remembered the Sith's skill at creating the AI, it seemed fairly possible for the wolf to be some sort of a robot. "I think you already know how you can help me," the redhead started, "I am looking for a job and wish to be employed by your organization." Kyla returned the smile, caught by surprise by [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] not being... how to say it? Sithy? This certainly marked some progress in the One Sith.

Alexandra yawned and then looked at the Ashlan wolf silently for several seconds before grinning, it had been a simple and private conversation by the two, but one that was amusing as it left the smile on her face. "Sorry, i dont know what you are talking about, i assume you mean joining the One Sith's military, no? If so then i ask that you be more clear in your words because i have a game to get back too as well as some research. And get your hand off your gun for force sakes, you cant really expect to be able to shoot me with two pairs of eyes on you at all times?"

Kyla watched the two being look at each other, not knowing what their eyes said to each other,maybe they did not know it either. "Of course I mean joining the Sith. I thought Solan told you that," the redhead said promptly and resisted the urge to shake her head. This [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] certainly was the most unusual Sith she had ever met, which made her all the more dangerous.

"You know where I have my gun?" Kyla mocked the Echani, like she did with almost everyone, "Here under my arm, close to my heart, so close it is hot, alive, sometimes it jumps out on its own, so alive it has its own will and mind,..." In her silent, ironic voice could be heard much tension and menacing danger and her hand continued its grip on the weapon. She held no illusions about being able to shoot the Sith; Force users like this woman have been known to be unnaturally fast with quick reflexes and instincts. On the other hand, she never admitted her life could be in danger. Kyla never feared death. If this woman proved to be an agent of the Sith supposed to capture a rebel, the redhead would not shoot her, rather the wolf. "What does it take to get me in?"

"Simple, want to fight the Republic?" she leaned back and grinned again as she looked at the Ashlan, it having said something before moving to go around Kyla and then come over and climb up beside alex. The silent conversation continued with Alexandra shaking her head before leaning forward and her silver eyes focused on Kyla, the only visible clue to a non force sensitive that she was not one of the Sith, that she would never be one of the sith, she remained untainted by their corruption.

"No," Kyla replied sternly, an exact opposite of the ironic tone that mocked the victim, "But I will do whatever is necessary to destroy your kind. That makes those unfortunate enough to get in my way worth it. I am willing to pay the price of freedom." She said proudly, her inner patriot talking. Even though the Republic was not what it used to be, reduced to just a fraction of its former glory. What happened to it, anyway? Kyla remembered the time people from all over the galaxy wanted to get inside the Republic and enjoy the freedom and safety it offered. Now they have been doing their best to get out on the first transport ship and join the Sith or any other group that proclaimed itself a nation and started conquering everything in their path.

She coldly gazed at the wolfish creature with emerald fur, once again wondering why it accompanied the silver haired woman before looking back at [member="Alexandra Cinthra"].

"Destroy my kind? Sheesh, im dealing with a racist, didn't think that people hated Echani that much." She smiled and cast her glance to the Ashlan, translating the joke only to get a sense of amusement back before returning her head to look at Kyla. "I do hope you mean you wish to destroy the Sith, because hate to disappoint you, im not a Sith in the least bit of the word, i only fight for them until my purpose with them is fulfilled."

[member="Kyla Verss"]

"Do you think anyone cares you do not consider yourself a Sith? I assure you the Republic sees you as one. And since a crime of one is judged as a crime of all, you are guilty of everything the One Sith have ever committed against the Republic. Get me inside and prove you are not one of them or be judged like the rest once this war is over." The redhead stated, her blue eyes returning the stare of the Echani woman. What she saw was a Sith, not an ordinary one, but still a Sith. Finally letting her hand go of the weapon, she clasped her hands behind her back and stood still.

"Shes as thick headed as a Jedi, i mean for force sakes you would atleast come to realize someone is only as sith like as they want people to see, right Eve?" Out of a corner came a nine year old with a blasterpistol that had been trained on Kyla's head the entire time, the odd thing about the nine year old was two things, A: It was a clone of Alexandra which would be clear from first sight, and B: was what the clone said as it lowered the pistol. "Mother, i thought i was suppose to be hidden and fire if she attacked you or brought friends, you aren't very good at the whole keeping a secret thing..." Alexandra merely rolled her eyes and looked back at Kyla. "Your name is already in the sith databanks, as is your ID number. Eve, give her the documents please that will act as her new alias." With that the small girl pulled out a number of files and walked to Kyla, holding out the files. "Here."

[member="Kyla Verss"]

Eve? The name rang through her mind as she immediately remembered the girl she had met shortly after joining the rebellion, the one supplying the resistance with information. Kyla twisted around, only for her eyes to fall upon exactly the being she expected to see. Her appearance remained the same as before; the only change being the pistol in her hand, a very large and heavy thing for a child to carry. Why some people thought children with weapons did not appear suspicious way beyond Kyla, but she kept hermouth shut this time, taking the documents and briefly running over them with her eyes, checking it. Her new identity and fictional life, it was all there along with her new job. "That'll do," she said in a whisper before looking at the grown up of the two Echanis. "A bodyguard, eh?" She had done her share of guarding people, but never she had protected a Force user. It almost appeared humorous; a non-Force sensitive acting as a personal guard of a Sith. "Do you get a lot of people trying to kill you?"
