A cigar butt fell on the dirty ground of the lower levels of Coruscant and disappeared under a lether boot, being tossed there by a young woman that stood in a dark alley, leaned against a wall. The smoker lit up another cigar, flame of her lighter briefly illuminated her figure and clearly revealed she was dressed in a uniform that belonged to the CSF before the light vanished and most of the woman's figure disappeared in darkness again. As always, the agent made sure not to take the cigar containing lethal poison, as that one was reserved for very special occasions and she only hoped this would not be one of those, although one could say this meeting was very special as well. Not her first contact with a member of the Sith Order, but definitely the first time she had attempted to get inside the One Sith. After learning of the Sith who's been supplying the rebels with information, Kyla simply could not resist and took the opportunity of meeting with the mysterious woman to get in their ranks and deliver some intel to the Republic.
Coruscant was an excellent place for such a meeting. Being stationed on the planet and helping the resistance almost appeared to be too good to be true, as the Sith contact could roam the planet without raising much suspicion. Still, the two would meet on the lower level, just to ensure less spying eyes. Indeed, most sentients living on the lower levels tended to mind their own business due to the place being a paradise of all sorts of scum and criminals who never hesitated for long before pulling out a weapon. Law was no longer such a rarity as it used to be before the arrival of the Sith, but the increased patrols and lawkeeping mercenaries hardly made this part of the planet safe. Her customized 9mm slugthrower stirred nervously under her uniform...
Another cigar butt got crushed by her boot and as Kyla opened the pack to take another one, she frowned, seeing the last cigar was the one that would literally be the last one in her life if she took it. Mentally shrugging, the redhead put the pack back to her pocket, trying to keep her mind busy by thinking of the future assignments that awaited her. She had little doubt there would be many choices to test her ability to balance herself on the thin line of a double agent, but how much was she willing to sacrifice to help the Republic? Her life? Definitely. Lives of others? Yes. The Republic itself?
The idea of hurting the Republic at times to play a good role of a Sith agent was a nice one, but Kyla realized she had to be a good and convincing actress to make the Sith audience believe her. As much as she disliked it, she had done such things many times before, all for the Republic, so it would remain standing another day. The Jedi Order, on the other hand... she would not hesitate to throw any of its members overboard.
