First Outing (Oka Osso)

She nodded at his apology before she added "Sorry about your mom." After the food eventually arrived she responded to his question with "Only thing I'm wondering is how much more they can make." She started digging in, eating like anyone else but not quite as fancy or delicate as some of the others in the restaurant. During this time she perked up and asked "Oka, I got to ask, where do you see yourself after this is done? And I mean us parting ways, not the meal."

"Its fine, thanks." he said sipping some water and eating a piece of his steak. The steak was delicious with the sauce. He kept taking bites until she asked a question he couldn't quite answer. "Probably going to my admiral's place or wait until something comes up since I'm now stuck as a crew member right?." he asked with a joking tone as he set his glass down.

She smirked when he gave his response before saying "Oh good. You caught on faster than I thought. Usually it takes at least a drink and a half before I can get around to proposing a place in the crew for others." She gave him a moment to respond before saying "Now I'm not forcing you to do anything you won't want to. I make deals with everybody, regardless of the side they may be on. As long as it's not Sith, obviously. Thing is we'll be going high and low and dealing with one thing after another. If you're in, then you're in for as long as you're comfy. If not, we can end it right here and now."

After hearing the offers she gave, Oka finished his steak and started on his muja fruit ice cream before saying, "I'm in as long as I get cool armor like yours." he said before taking another bite of the ice cream. It seemed like a joke but he was actually serious. One, the armor was cool, two, he needed a concealed identity.

She huffed a laugh, not just as his agreement but also on the condition of getting armor himself. She shrugged and said "Alright. Just a warning it won't be AS cool as mine." After that she stuck her hand out and waited until he shook it before saying "Oh, and from here on you'll be referring to me as captain. Got it?" she asked with a coy smile.

The thought of having armor for a crew sounded awesome to Oka. "Got it Captain." he said returning the smile. This could be a fun new activity for Oka especially since she can relate a little. He was practically done eating so he stood up. He laid a comlink and seventy two credits on the table. After he did that, he said, "Captain, ever need anything or if a job comes up, use that comlink. " he said nodding as he walked towards the door. Dinner was over sooner than he expected but a job's never done.
