Atrios had no idea where he was. Well, that wasn't entirely accurate. He had an idea of where in the wider galaxy he was. But the perks of leaving things up to a droid pilot? Who cared what "Tooine" planet he'd landed on this time. All that mattered is that he was here to see the sights.

Ha.

See the sights. Atrios' mouth twitched in a momentary smirk. That was the best part of being who he was. The son of a seer couldn't see jack.

Ah well, that was neither here nor there.

Atrios pulled his visor down over his face, pausing as the bands compressed to hold his lifeline in place. He waited for a moment as the software began its booting sequence, then turned his head to look down the street. The crowds were milling about, not paying any attention to the vagrant sitting on the park bench. Atrios was perfectly fine with that.

He pushed himself to his feet, and turned to collect the small satchel from underneath the bench. See the sights, he was told. He only had one day left on his itinerary, and he intended to see all the sights he could. After that? He'd pick another planet at random. Perhaps the next place he visited would be nice enough he'd forgo a hotel room entirely. But, that was tomorrow's problem. Today? He would keep things simple.

There was a neat sounding fountain at the end of the park. How did he know it sounded neat?

Who knows. He didn't care. He was going to go investigate regardless.

Shore leave was an important custom for those whom lived their lives on space vessels, or so Makar was told. Even for a Pirate Lord, it was essential to walk around the common folk of the galaxy. It kept one grounded, which was something Makar often wasn't. He spent so long in his ship that it was easy to get lost in his own personal bubble. Thankfully, Marni had forced him to take a day to himself. No making deals, no raiding, just time to sit and think.

He wasn't sure what drew him to the park, it was certainly quieter than a pub! He detested unnecessary bluster, so sitting by the fountain with a good book was much more enjoyable. Makar had chosen On the matters of Empires as his book today. It was a historical text, one that catalogued the history of many Core Worlds since the information loss of The Gulag Plague.

Much of the history before then was rumor, speculation, and outright fable. One thing was certain, he wanted to know as much as he could about the current factions of the galaxy. To do so, he wanted to know what foundations they were built upon.

He of course, was not alone as he studied his text. Others passed by, one young man seemed to be walking around the fountain as if searching for something. The massive pirate chuckled, before giving a whistle to the youth. It was simply to gain his attention as he shut his book. The history of Sith and their forefathers would have to wait.

"Is there something you seek young man? I don't think you should be just wandering around in the park. Some people are want to take advantage of anyone they see. Especially those such as yourself..."

Atrios paused as a being whistled to capture his attention. Then he turned, brow arched behind his visor. He strode over in the same, casual manner he'd kept as he first approached the fountain plaza. "Aelira sa, traveler."

The young man stopped a few paces away, and folded his arms over his chest. "Just admiring the sights. Does beg the question, what is a park for if not to wander?"

The man flashed what some might consider a charming smile. He seemed at ease, even in the rough travelers' robes that the man wore. A simple satchel was slung over his shoulder, and his stance was casual, weight planted on a single foot. His other foot, however, rested behind him. Ready for him to launch backwards onto his other lest the conversation turn sour and demand additional range be purchased. "If security is such a concern, might I suggest putting your book down and returning to a secure location, Saer?"
