Intent: To give First Imperial garrisons a more uniform appeal.
Development Thread: At the judges discretion.
Manufacturer: First Imperial Engineer Corps [First Order]
Model: First Imperial Pre-Fab Garrison.

Production: Minor.
Material: Durasteel, Duracrete, Alurasteel, Titanium.
Special Features:
65x Turbolaser Towers.
1x Ion Cannon
1x Shield Generator
42x Defensive Pillboxes and Bunkers.
90x Blaster Emplacements
7x Star Destroy Maintenance Pits.
30'000 Stormtrooper Garisson
6x TIE/SF Squadrons
3x TIE/IN Squadrons
3x TIE/SK Squadrons
24x AAP-VW Walkers
40x Light Infantry Utility Vehicles
16x F4L-AW
Strengths:
+Strength In Numbers: The First Order believes in a show of force, and this base design exhibits that philosophy. Turbolaser towers supported by three Stormtrooper legions with mechanized elements means that.
+Siege Mentality: Due to its highly fortified nature, and huge garrison the base is ready for siege.
+Fixer Upper: The base doubles as a naval yard, which assists in the upkeep of the First Orders ever growing naval capacity.
+Offensive Capability: The smallest module tier allows for the deployment of a small garrison and the construction of a fortified command post.
Weaknesses:
-Isolated Ions: The ion battery created to defend the base is on the outside of its perimeter. If the enemy attacking it were quick, and fast, the ion cannon would be disabled without managing to slow them down.
-Obstructionist Storage: The storage for spare parts is a large behemoth of a building. Due to that, the line of sight, and supply lines through that part of the base is limited in the event of an attack.
Description: When the First Order Military Command realised that war with the Galactic Alliance was a near certainty, they decided to construct military fortresses across their holdings to fortify and hold onto their territory. However, in order to keep in step with the Order’s ideas of uniformity, the brass decided to have similar specs for each and every facility. One facility per civilised system meant a system of allowing the Order to greatly expand its defensive capabilities.
In order to greatly speed up production, seven modules would need to be pre-constructed and be able to be deployed. All the modules can be deployed via either heavy transport, or capital ship. Some modules however take longer than others to be prepared.
Four of the modules would be largely the same, and be able to be deployed rapidly from a ship. These modules consisted of eight levels, topped by a sensor and communications tower. Levels one through to five, all identical in size and shape, consisted mainly of the large surface vehicle bays where all the surface vehicles were stored, maintained and deployed from. They also contained most of the personnel quarters as well as the armory, detention cells and most other key base areas. Level six held the officer's quarters, TIE fighter pilots' quarters, command rooms and so on. Level seven consisted entirely of the TIE fighter hangars. These modules Level eight was the deployment chutes and control rooms for the base's TIEs. Garrison bases also had underground sub-levels which contained the generators and main infrastructure.
The next module is unable to be deployed quickly like the others. The ion module is heavily armoured, but lacks the defences of its cousins. On larger defence complexes, it is best deployed out of shield radius so its fire doesn't disrupt shield generation. It contains pillboxes and a small turbolaser network.
The next module is scantly defended, and holds a defensive shield, and the power generator. Due to the size of such devices, and the lack of turbolasers and other defensive emplacements it is better used in tandem with two to three tier one modules to increase defensive synergy. This module also contains a turbolaser defensive grid and pillboxes.
The penultimate module is the command tower. Due to the construction necessary to physically build this, the command tower is only an addition built for long term defensive projects. Despite being delivered in modular form, it does not contain the same quick deployment mechanisms of its cousins. It contains AA batteries to ward of fighter attacks, as well as the infrastructure for the more long term deployment of stormtroopers. As well as a naval command centre to coordinate fleets and advanced communications to transmit data to.
As an addition to the First Order's naval infrastructure, defensive complexes would also employ several large maintenance pits. Pits large enough to hold an imperial-x star destroyer, or an arrangement of frigates.
This sort of long term maintenance requires a eighth module, which offers no defences. This module carries a warehouse and a storage of replacement parts for the ships of the First Order fleet. It however is a large building, and blocks the line of sight on whichever side of the base it is on. If an enemy were to attack in that direction, the troop lines for supporting that defence would be longer. This module however means it is ready for long term naval yard usage.
