"Akaanir Narudar, Naastar Narudar"
The mission was simple.Orphen had been wanting some Bes'kar for some time in order to begin a project for one of his friends, @Gwrtheryn had been a strong companion for the Jedi through several of his missions, and Orphen wanted to pay him back, so, with his friend in towe as well as another visitor whom had joined them for the ride. With his friendly cargo each sitting back in the hangar of his ship, Orphen would rocket toward the fabled capitol planet of the Mandalorians known only as Mandalore... The planet was a thriving metropolis and Orphen had been in contact with these people before, having purchased the Diamond Boron Missiles that his ship had loaded in one of its missile batteries as well as having undergone some amount of training under a Mandalorian tutor on Cathar. So, he was no stranger to their world or their ways...
Though entering this sector of space always gave him memories of his parents.
The Jedi had codes and ties to the planet, his ship was registered under Aurora Industries, asking for permission to land and pick up some supplies before scouring the holonet for old mining sites on the planets surface which may well herald, while nowhere near enough of the legendary substance to be used commercially, there may be enough for them to use for what they had intended. Granted safe passage, Orphen would begin to fly to the location, which seemed to be some miles out from a base belonging to clan Raxis. Looking back to the hold behind him, the Jedi would speak loud enough for his voice to echo through the corridors of his ship.
"We're here, just working on a landing now, once we get out there should be enough of the material here to mine it, then we can be on our way. I've always wanted to test my hand at making Mandalorian iron... I hear it's rather difficult. "
The chords escaping the young mans' lips were rife with excitement as the ship, barely considered a Corvette Class Cruiser landed within the basin of the abandoned mine, machines which had once dug trenches into the earth were long silent as debris and tools which had been savaged by the elements scattered the area. Blaster marks which dotted the land escaped the Jedi's view as it seemed the facility had either seen battle, or had been used for training sorties over the years, due to the variety of cover and terrain which composed the mostly cragy area. Twisting desert trees growing up sporadically around the area and providing shade as the only plant-life capable of sprouting from the drained soil.
With a loud hydraulic hiss, the landing ramp was lowered as Orphen walked out with his usual attire. Four holsters peppered the sides of his legs, and hips, the upper two holding each of his A-12's while the lower two carried the S-5's which were widely more useful for their grappling hooks should he ever need them. His Visor, still covering his eyes translating the mathematical world around him into a series of numbers and equations which allowed his over-active mind to relax and rest rather than attempt to deduce the mathematical components and values of everything within sight. On his left hand, the glowing gauntlet lay directly below his wrist mounted DCD, giving him a link to his ship and a means to control the 6 drones which lay compacted under his dark red long leather coat which hung open on his shoulders, each of the drones lying in parallel lines of two either side of his spine. Lastly, his light-sabers resting under his coat and slightly above his tail-bone on his belt which also connected to a light particle shield, hidden from the world.
Orphen would look more like a mercenary than a Jedi to those who saw him.
Stepping out into the world he took a breath of the fresh air and stretched high into the sky before setting his visor to analyze the earth for any trace of Bes'kar... that way, the group were able to get to work. Trace amounts of the substance were being picked up all around them, but it seemed there were some small veins not too far into the caves, under the skin f the surface our of sights reach, easily enough for the three of them.
"No time like the present right? Lets get to it... There's enough here for the three of us."
