DESCRIPTION

The Firespray-41-type Patrol Craft is a modern Mandalorian reimagining of the legendary Firespray patrol line, rebuilt to serve as a fast, precise instrument of law enforcement rather than a blunt weapon of war. Where frontline starfighters are designed to dominate battlespaces, the Firespray-41-type exists to control them - intercepting, disabling, and capturing targets that attempt to flee Mandalorian jurisdiction. Sleek, compact, and aggressively over-engineered for speed, the craft can close distances in moments and maneuver through asteroid fields, urban airspace, or dense traffic corridors with ease. Its weapon systems reflect its policing mission - heavy laser cannons provide deterrence; however, the true core of its design lies in its ion cannons and pulse missiles, capable of shutting down ships intact for boarding and seizure. Twin tractor beam projectors further reinforce its role as an interdiction platform - restraining disabled craft or preventing hyperspace escapes. Internally, the vessel is fitted with secure prisoner compartments and containment systems, enabling immediate transport of detainees without requiring external facilities. However, the Firespray-41-type is not a battlefield workhorse. Its small squadron size and modest defenses mean it relies on speed, precision, and coordination rather than raw numbers or brute force.
