Finally, some non-Jawa womanizer!

"Oh, before I forget, Utinni #1 will be bottled in Jundland lead glass, native to Tatooine; after all, all too many in the galaxy think of Tatooine when they think about Jawas"

Jundland lead glass was a luxury good Jawas would relish for fine, luxury liquid products, such as distilled Jawa juice, perfumes or also sometimes used for fine vessels for serving liquids. She knew that virtually any settlement large enough to be classified even as a village on Tatooine WILL have a Jawa resident or two. And it was weird that there were 35 million Jawas on Ringo Vinda and yet, Jawas were described as creatures native to Tatooine! There should be at least as many Jawas on Tatooine as there are on Ringo Vinda, so across the main cities of the planet, Anchorhead, Bestine, Mos Eisley, Mos Espa, Mos Entha, Mos Ila, Mos Osnoe, Wayfar, Mos Taike, only Bestine, Mos Espa and Mos Eisley exceeding 100,000 in population. It would seem that Tatooine would be otherwise rather rural as far as urban-vs-rural population breakdown is concerned. Jessica knew better than anyone else that only homesteads like this one would be free from Jawas.

------------------------------

Common sense is actually one of the more difficult things in people to learn, and is a long-term process for which certain personalities seem better suited for this than others, and the same can be expected of AI that advanced. In the current condition of technology, it is even harder to model in AI, to the point of being called an "AI-complete" problem to solve. Even the Four Laws of Droids seem insufficient to provide common sense in an AI, but definitely a basis to build common sense upon. But under most personalities expected, I would think it would be taking roughly the time it takes a brand-new droid to break-in.

------------------------------

"I'd rather avoid the main cities: too many Jawas. Tosche Station would be just the right size to avoid the crowds of Jawas. Yes, I might have been a talented slicer, but look at the galactic pantheon of slicing: [member="Jen"], [member="Silas Miu"], [member="Spark Finn"]. Most of these slicers are really smart, just as much as I. I have the impression that you feel, well, ecstatic at the prospect of what could possibly be one of the smartest women you knew in your lifetime. Now, granted, there is more to us than just our intellects and... how often do you use the Force to make yourself more attractive?"

[member="Warren Century"]

When she called him attractive, Warren couldn't help but blush. The hormones of his current body were problematic to say the least, and that annoyed him. But he didn't allow it to phase him externally. Her question had been, how often did he use the force to make himself more attractive. "I don't know. That ability is more of a subconscious thing I don't understand, than something I can actually control, [member="Jessica Med-Beq"]."

Warren paused for a moment as he listened to her words. "You're right I feel ecstatic, meeting one of the smartest people of the galaxy. Of course when it comes to intelligence, I'm no slouch myself. After all, we both contributed to the pheromone, and the AI. Tosche Station sounds fine, but we'll have to choose somewhere to eat there. Should I wear a suit or not? I've never really...dated before."

The comment about never really dating before was stuttered out by him.

"No need for suits: it will make your body build up heat more than necessary. Just dress light within reason and we'll be fine. Same goes for me too. There is only one diner in Tosche Station: it's a village of about a thousand residents"

That's why Jessica preferred to wear this light, floral-motif dress when going to desert planets. Or at her home on Ringo Vinda. She'd rather own a secondary home on an icy planet, preferrably in light-sided space. Or somewhere like a penthouse on Hosnian Prime. As little as two months ago she was just some rather bright woman, but nothing otherwise out of the ordinary, she was just not as bright as she is today. Today it dawned on her that she could actually be truly brilliant without fully realizing the complete extent of her intellectual capabilities until now, either because some Force-roadblock has been removed off her (cast on her as a child most likely) or because someone else cast a spell on her. She doesn't feel guilty in the slightest, just confused, because she probably wouldn't be the same today if she was as prodigious as a child as she is today. He probably feels as if some trick of the Force could account for the intellectual gap. Or perhaps Warren was just a little gullible in thinking that Jessica was one of the smartest people in the galaxy and that her natural intellect was enough to pull such a trick.

-------------------------------

Obviously, what constitutes a "small child" will vary wildly by the common species around its owners or creators. For most human/Near-Human species, small children could be considered as such until they are teen-aged, in contrast, Huttlets are considered small children for about five times as long, and Devlikks for about three years. Upon activation the owner will have to be specified alongside its species.

-------------------------------

"But I have reason to suspect that my own intellectual functions are somehow enhanced by some external use of the Force - not yours though but that's probably why I had the impression that I have - or am - a Force-computer. I wonder whether one can really use the Force to enhance someone else's intellectual functions?"

Warren nodded and smiled at her. "We'll head there, immediately." He'd go into a room and come out in a sleeveless shirt, black jeans, combat boots and a black leather jacket. "Is this a better outfit for where we are going?" The black jacket had green stripes on it, and on the back the Green logo of CTAE, an Infinity Symbol that was shown on all of their products. It had only taken him about 40 microseconds for him to change into the new outfit that he was now wearing. "What do you like to eat there perhaps? Also, I'm thinking about building a new city, Century City on Tatooine soon. It will be a futuristic city and the Ai Solomon will oversee the city. In any case, you'd be welcome to live there if you wanted, it will be jawa free."

"I'd probably go live on Hosnian Prime - after all my current employer has a location there - Jawas have pretty strong bonds towards their home planets, few of them travel the galaxy the way humans or Near-Humans do and Hosnian Prime, while an ecumenopolis, has hardly any Jawas in it"

Or, more accurately, a factory of starship components and another one for ground vehicles. On Hosnian Prime there would be 20,000 or perhaps 30,000 Jawas at most when the planet's population numbers in the dozens of billions easily. Although many a light-sided fashionista of the galaxy would go to Hosnian Prime, it seems that the return of Coruscant into the light-sided fold has rendered Hosnian Prime a secondary destination in light-sided fashion circles. On Jawa-infested Ringo Vinda, she was, simply put, the golden girl. She was a household name although many predicted that her star would fade within one month of the KDY raid. Amid this galactic game of thrones, many media outlets seemed to cover their homeworld protagonists in it as they would any other celebrity that would normally appear in tabloids. By now Jessica has overshadowed her boss Charzon in the local media, even though in galactic business media, she was just a creative mind and Charzon was still the one running the show.

----------------------------

Intelligent agents, such as devices that can meet the computing specifications for the AI under development, must be able to set goals and achieve them. Planning algorithms are, as a result, introduced within Solomon and, to enable it to make the best possible decision, given the resources at hand, optimization algorithms are also the order of the day here. Obviously such things must take into account the limitations of the platform on which it is mounted.

----------------------------

"Nevertheless, the lure of technology will attract Jawas one way or another. I trust them to make good use of Solomon, I'm not one to hate Jawas, just that I probably wouldn't need to care about Jawas if it wasn't for my pheromones. At best only rural homesteads could be guaranteed to be Jawa-free on this planet. As for food: eopie stew"

[member="Warren Century"]

"You see, that's the thing. When I make Century City, the Jawas would be most unwelcome in the city because they lure the Tusken Raiders, a species I'd be all too happy to see removed." Warren said as he looked at her. Taking her by the arm he started to lead her outside to a Speeder he'd rented for the both of them to ride on. It was big enough for them both to ride, if she grabbed onto his back when they rode the thing. "So [member="Jessica Med-Beq"], you really like Eopie stew? Can't say I've ever tried it to be honest. In any case, I'll see about also establishing a base on the world you'll live on, another base for my company, because why the hell not?"

Part of him wanted to kiss her, but he was bashing that part into submission.

"I've never tried eopie stew either, but now I understand why you wanted a Jawa repellent for which my pheromones were also of use to develop"

Jessica orders one extra-large plate of sizzling eopie stew; actually said plate was, for that diner in Tosche Station, an extra-large plate is best served for two people and is designed for such romantic occasions, where a couple of humans or Near-Humans wanted a romantic, candle-lit dinner (even though such practices would be more common on planets like Naboo or Chandrila than on Tatooine). Also, because it is a table for two, the waiter droid is bringing in two bowls with the proper utensils.

--------------------------

Because in many circumstances what caused devices equipped with AI that weren't used for security or combat to harm its owners or even other sentient third parties were caused by the devices' lack of social skills, the latest in artificial affects, as equipped in state-of-the-art protocol droids, would be included. In turn artificial affects, when combined with artificial personalities, as expected to arise from regular operation, can result in some rather - unique results, that will allow the enjoyment of the creators and users.

--------------------------

"If you want a location closer to the Core Worlds, perhaps you would like Dulvoyinn if the stuff you manufacture is best made under tropical climates or Hosnian Prime if tropical climates are too hot for manufacturing your stuff. Planetary climates affect climate-control costs and, for certain items, especially the precision-engineered ones, it can be significant. The only difference between Tatooine and Ringo Vinda is that Ringo Vinda has no Tusken Raider, if moisture, more than temperature, is important to you. Gungans live up the mountains but at lower altitudes you're not going to find Gungans, Jawas and Ugnaughts you will find instead"

[member="Warren Century"]

"Alright, I've come up with an even better name for the AI, Hammurabi. " Warren looked at her and then got an alert on his Datapad. "It seems we'll have to postpone the Dinner Date. We'll need to arrange one though, later. If you're up for it that is. Something's...come up..." said Warren not trying to reveal any un-needed information. Suffice to say they were going to have trouble. Suzie was on her way. "If you want Century Technological Advancement Enterprises to make anything for you, you just let me know." said Warren with a smile.

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

That was going to mean Jessica would need to eat what eopie stew she could eat, and then ask for a doggy bag for the remainder of the eopie stew. Which meant that she ate roughly half of the sizzling plate - directly in it. Now that she watched Warren leave the scene, she wondered what half the profits on Hammurabi's production would mean to her. That could possibly means millions of credits. Perhaps Warren was gullible if he thought that she was one of the smartest ladies in the galaxy. Perhaps she had a Force-roadblock removed. Perhaps she had a Force-computer implanted inside her. Perhaps she became one back on Alderaan. But she wasn't one to calculate, Force-aided or not, hyperdrive jumps in her head. Those kinds of people were circus freaks to all too many people.

------------------------------------

For all the features and the memory specifications (and also probably processing) required by said features to smoothly run Hammurabi, one would think that one such code is highly complex. Nevertheless, the more complex the code and the harder it is for slicers to actually do something with it without rendering the AI ineffectual. For this reason, a minimum of anti-slicing protection is to be expected and not the least because of the code's complexity: that AI can defend itself when a device equipped with it is being sliced while activated.

"Thank you for making this visit to Tatooine most memorable"
